Abstract

ABSTRACTThe background of this study cause by the low score of students in class XI Drawing Building Engineering in Drawing Buildings’ Constrution and Drawing by using software in 2015/2016. Aim of this research is to find out how wide the contribution of knowledge acquisition Drawing Buildings’ Construction towards the learning outcome of students in TGB SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi.Type of this research is a correlational study. The population of this research is 51 students of Drawing Building Engineering in XI class of SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi  by using Total Sampling. The data used pimary data. It collected by using an objective test questions. Objective test conducted to determine the level of students in mastery the knowledge of Drawing Buildings’ Construction with 45 questions. Also, the outcomes of learning Drawing by using software as the secondary data. Analysis of the data consists of, (1) a description of the data (2) testing requirements analysis and (3) hypothesis test.Based on the analysis result, the coefficient of correlations (r=0.809) on the probability of 0,000 < Significant Alpha 0.05. Level of responden in mastery GBK is about 61,05% which has low category. The hypothesis proposal had received with the contribution in mastery Drawing Buildings’ Construction knowledege about 65,45% towards students outcome in learning Drawing by using software of XI class in TGB SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi.Keywords: Contributions, Mastery, Knowledge, Learning Outcome

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the low value of the students in the subject of steel structures Building Engineering Education Program in the Department of Civil Engineering. Due to lack of effective and efficient learning students during class. This study aims to reveal the relationship between learning the learning outcomes of students in the course of steel structures in the Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University. This type of research is the study korelational. The population in this study is the 2014 generation students who have taken courses steel structures enrolled in semester July-December, 2015 as many as 64  samples in this study 56 people were taken by proportional random sampling. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from the questionnaire to the students on how to learn, while secondary data is student results. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and analysis of significance. The analysis showed that there is a significant relationship and very significant between learning the learning outcomes of students in the course of steel structures in the Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP. Significant level of 5% with 95% confidence level. It can be seen from the r arithmatic > r table. Based on the acquisition of these test results can be concluded that there is a significant relationship and very significant between learning the learning outcomes of students in the course of steel structures in the Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP. Keywords: How To Learn, Learning Outcomes, Steel Structure

Abstract

The problem in this research is the bad way of student’s way of learning, it proves by the unprepared condition of student’s in the building material lesson, and almost 40% of the student’s score is below the completeness standard criteria (CSC).  This  research  is  aimed  to  express  how  big  the  contributions  on  the student’s way of learning toward the study result on building materials training education class X, construction engineering mayor at Padang Vocational High School 1. The research hypothesisis that there is a contributionon The Student’s Way of  Learning  Towards  The  Study Result  on  Building  Materials  Training Education Class X, Construction Engineering Mayor At Padang Vocational High School 1. The population in this research is all of the students in construction engineering mayor that studied about construction materials training education that consist of 66 students. Sample taking technique is a total sampling with the sample amount 66 students.Data type that had been using is a primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by distributing the questionnaire about studying method to the students, while secondary data is a learning result in a form of scores of Construction Materials Lesson by the students. Analysis technique data that had been  used  are:  (1)  Descriptive  Analysis,  (2)  Analysis  condition  testing,  that consist of normality testing and linearity testing to prove that data distributions based  on  samples  that  distributed  normally  and  linearly,  and  (3)  hypotheses testing.Analysis result shows that the way of learning contributes 60.9% toward the study result of Class X Construction Engineering Mayor, Padang Vocational High School 1. This thing can be seen from score Sig (2-tailed) 0.000<Alpha (0.05). Based on that testing, it means that there is a positive connection between student’s way of learning Towards Study Result on  Building Materials Training Education Class X, Construction Engineering Mayor At Padang Vocational High School 1. Keywords: Contributions, Way of Learning, Learning Result

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui nilai konsolidasi tanah pada gedung TVRI, pada dasarnya gedung TVRI ini sama dengan gedung-gedung lainnya yang berada di Kota Padang, dikarenakan kondisi  tanah lunak maka diperlukan mengetahui konsolidasi yang terjadi setelah gempa 2009 dengan kekuatan 7.6 SR. Beberapa pengujian yang dilakukan guna mengetahui karakteristik tanah seperti : kadar air, berat jenis, batas cair, batas plastis, berat volume dan analisis saringan untuk mendapatkan karakteristik tanah, sedangkan untuk melihat penurunan tanah digunakan uji konsolidasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian analisis saringan didapatkan hasil dengan karakteristik tanah lulus saringan nomor 200 sebesar 12% maka tanah di kategorikan pada tanah berbutir kasar, untuk hasil pengujian batas cair didapatkan indeks plastisitas sebesar 21,19% maka tanah dikatakan berjenis lempung plastis. Untuk hasil uji konsolidasi pada titik 1 didapatkan Cc= 0,155, 0,330, 0,016 dan nilai Cv=0.0318, 0.0279, 0.0277, sedangkan untuk titik 2 didapatkan hasil Cc=0.172, 0.204, 0.014 dan nilai Cv=0.0211, 0.0250, 0.0210

Abstract

This research was motivated by the presence of students who did not master AutoCAD while executing Prakerin. As this study aims to reveal how the assessment supervisor to student mastery of AutoCAD SMKN 2 Solok implementing Prakerin in the academic year 2015/2016. Type of this research is quantitative descriptive study using total sampling technique, the sample population was replaced by the research subjects. The subjects were students do Prakerin supervisor amounting to 12 people in different places with the number of students as many as 38 people. The data collection technique using a questionnaire using Likert Scale. For data analysis using Microsoft Excel and descriptive analysis techniques with percentage and mean. The results of this study indicate that the ratings field supervisors on student mastery of AutoCAD SMKN 2 Solok implementing Prakerin in the academic year 2015/2016 in seven indicators: Drawing with Software with mean 3.60, Drawing Concrete Columns with mean 2.80, Drawing Concrete Beams with a mean of 2.79, Draw a floor plate with a mean of 2.61, with a mean of 2.80 Drawing construction Stairs, Drawing Construction Sky-langitdengan mean 2.88, Drawing retaining walls with mean 2.57. Abstract

This research was aimed to reveal the correlation between learning interest and learning outcome of Engineering Drawing Course of Class X Students of Building Drawing Engineering Department at SMK N 1 Sumatera Barat. The type of the research was a correlational research and the population was all 31 students of Class X of Building Drawing Engineering Department academic year 2015/2016.  The sample was taken by using total sampling technique.  Primary data was obtained from the questionnaires about learning interest which were distributed to the students, and secondary data was the learning outcome of students on Drawing Engineering course. The techniques of data analysis used were: (1) Descriptive analysis, (2) Analysis requirement test, and (3) The hypothesis test. From the analysis result, it can be concluded that there is a significant and strong enough correlation between learning interest and learning outcome of Engineering Drawing course of Class X Students of Building Drawing Engineering Department at SMK N 1 Sumatera Barat with 95% level of confidence. Keywords: Learning interest, Learning outcome

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was purposed to reveal the correlation of technology and building vocational interest and the subject  vocation score of grade X student at SMK Negeri 1 Padang.This research is correlational research with two variables, the sampling technique used was Proportional Random Sampling with 101 sample from 181 population. The data were 4 choices primary data were obtained by distributing questionnaires about technology and building vocational interest, mean while the secondary data were the overage subject vocation score such as basic drawing techniques, static and mechanic, building science, building material, and work safety science learned by the students Building Desain Engineering, Wood Construction Engineering, and Concrete Engineering. The data analysis techniques used were data verification, linearity test to prove that the data distribution was from normal and linear distributed sample, and hypothesis  test.The result of the analysis showed that there were low significant  correlation coefficient between technology and building vocational interest and the subject vocation  score of grade X students at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. It was observable by the coefficient pearson correlation score 0,268 ≥ Alpha (0,05), this result showed that there was correlation between technology and building vocational interest and the subject vocation score of grade X students at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The Sig (2-tailed) score for 0,007 < Alpha (0,05) showed that there was significant correlation between technology and building vocational interest and the subject vaocation score of grade X students at SMK Negeri 1 Padang with 95% reliability level.  Keywords: vocational interest, learning outcome

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to reveal the contribution of learning styles on learning outcomes of students of engineering mechanics of Technical Education Building. The hypothesis of this study is there is a contribution to the learning outcomes of learning styles of engineering mechanics students of Technical Education Building.This type of research is conducted at the Research Correlational Technical Education Building Study Program. These research subjects are students of Building Engineering Education in 2013 and 2014. The population in this research were 144 students. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling totaling 106 students.The research findings are contained visual learning styles contribute to the learning outcomes of students of Engineering Mechanics Building Engineering Study Program. While audiotorial and kinesthetic learning styles are not contributing to the learning outcomes of students of Engineering Mechanics Building Engineering Study Program. Keywords: Contributions, Learning Styles, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

      This Research is based on poor student’s learning outcomes in ‘subjects Statics Science and Voltage’. In this research, writer applied Student Facilitator And Explaining. The purpose of this research was to determine whether there was effects of is influence learning model  SFE on learning outcomes in the subjects of  ‘Statics Science and Voltage’ subjectat class X Architecture Engineering SMK N 1 Padang.This research was Experimental research with Pretest-Posstets Control Group Design. Population in this research was 98 students of class X TGB. Samples that eligible for thisresearch were 2 clases of ciass  X TGB wich were class X GB-A as an experimental class and class X GB-B as the control class. Instruments used in this study were pretest and posttest in the form of an objective that amounted to 20 items that had been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty  differentiation. Data were analyzed by t-test (double average differential) on values of Gain Scores (The Difference between postets).The results showed in experimental class with an average score of posttest 86, 93, whereas in control class average score of  postets 73.93. Then, t-test obtained thitung = 3,951  ttabel = 2.000 at α = 0.05 signification. It can be concluded that the applicatin use of models pembelajan SFE significant  impact on learning outcomes  Statics Science and Voltage.  Keybords : Cooperative type SFE. Abstract

This study aims to reveal the relationship disciplined student learning to the learning outcomes of building construction practices class X TGB student of SMKN 5 Padang TP 2015/2016. Research type used is correlational. The population in this research is class X TGB SMKN 5 Padang TP 2015/2016 academic year as many as 29 peoples. The research sample as many as 29 students were taken using total sampling technique. The file used is primary and secondary file. File analysis techniques used are : (1) descriptive analysis, (2) testing requirements analysis, which consists of normality test, homogeneity and linearity test to prove that the distribution of the data comes from samples normally distributed, homogeneous and linear, and (3) hypothesis testing. The analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between the discipline of learning the results of class X TGB student of SMKN 5 Padang TP 2015/2016 with 95% confidence level. It can be seen from the Sig (2 - tailed) 0.048 < Alpha (0.05) and the results obtained contribute only showed a value of 13.69 %. Based on the acquisition of these test results, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the discipline of learning the results of class X TGB student of SMKN 5 Padang TP 2015/2016 .   Keywords : Relationship, Discipline learning, Learning Outcomes
