Abstract

Abstract:  The goal of this study was to find out and analyse the effect of students’ perception on Indonesian language and learning interest towards their learning achievement about Indonesian language subject. A survey was conducted on students of Art and Design School at one of private local universities in South Jakarta. The survey utilized a questionnaire and classroom score record with 60 student participants using random sampling method. The result was then analysed by employing regression and correlation analysis techniques. The data indicates: (1) there is a significant effect on students’ perception of Indonesian language and learning interest towards learning achievement, (2) there is also a significant effect on the students’ perception of Indonesian language towards their learning achievement on this particular subject, and (3) result shows a significant effect on learning interest towards learning achievement on Indonesian language subject. Keyword: students’ perception, Indonesian language, learning interest, learning

Abstract : The activities of community service to be performed Kindergarten CHEERFUL , Jl . Pecan hill IV , Block A6 / 2 complex Clove Hill II , cimanggis aims to provide knowledge and information about media that can be used in teaching English for children . Community service activities such as training for teachers of kindergarten level in the vicinity of the monument Village , District Cimanggis , Depok municipality . Activities carried out using Communicative Language Teaching Method in which the method is implemented in communicative both the giver and the recipient of the material . Abstract

Abstract: The specific purpose of implementation in practicing is to identify the English learning autonomously by virtual online course, especially for students in LPK NUANSA JAYA Kota Bambu Selatan Palmerah Jakarta Barat. The output product is giving the innovation of English method for students such as the model of English learning by free virtual online course which shows the example of e-learning appllication. So, the result of this practicing can increase the ability of students in browsing English website autonomously. This model is more effective, in addition the facility of free online English course website is larger to browse. The implementation of this activity by three techniques or methods such as accelerated, purpose-based, and cooperative method. The implementation result of free virtual online course methods are the first is (1) accelerated method is the method which make students faster in English learning process by three stages like getting material, doing exercise, and evaluation. (2) The second method is purpose-based method which focuses is how to use free online English course by adapting the types of ability which want to increase it. Whereas, (3) the third method is cooperative method which focuses is how to use the facilities in free online English course by classifying website that provide the facilities such as chat rooms, chat groups, and English forum. Keywords: English learning autonomously; Free Virtual Online Course; Accelerated; Purpose-based; and Cooperative methods.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how much the  motivation have a relationship with school performance in middle school civic education  di SMP Pabuaran Bogor. The research was conducted in the school year 2013 - 2014 for the first semester . The population was eighth grade students as much as 8 classes totaling 320 students . Samples were taken 64 students citizenship randomly selected . The results of the data processing , the value of t = 7.933 >  = 1.670 .at table value at 5 %  means the students' motivation have a relationship with civic education learning achievement . The coefficient of determination ( R2 ) of 0.504 means 50.4 % have a relationship student motivation and the learning achievement of civic education , while the remaining 49.6 % ( 100 % - 50.4 % ) affected by other factors that were not analyzed in this study . Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know whether there are significant effects of intelligence and student interests toward the decision of the selection programs . The research was conducted at Class XI at High School around Depok City with total sample 60 students that randomly taken. The method used in the research was a survey. Data of Intelligence Data intelligence were acquired from document obtained through an IQ test, Students’ Interests, and the decision of the selection programs were acquired from the test. The data was analysed using descriptive statistical method, multiple correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. To test the statistics is used ttest and ftest . The result of data analyzes shown there are significant effects of intelligence and Students’ Interests towards the decision of the selection programs   Keywords: Intelligence, Interest of Student,Decision of Selection Programs

Abstract

Abstract: This the research about “The role of personality in face stress experienced by teachers  at SMPN 15 Jakarta”. The research method used is qualitative method with descriptive approach. As data resource is 40 teachers  for fill the questionnaire of research and for interviuwed about stress and teachers personality. The research instrument is interview, questionnaire and observation. The result of research is the teachers at SMPN 15 Jakarta have type A personality and externalizer  personality and experience the stres in face of demans of the tasks as teacher. and the role of personality is if the teacher's personality is strong, patient, calm, relaxed, no rush, but with earnestnes, confident of success, sharing difficulties with other people and live with the unpleasant task, then the teacher can face the demands of the task and the stress calmly, so as not to cause fatal consequences for the physical and psychological.The final conclusion is that the personality is quite a role in dealing with the demands of the task and the stress experienced teachers. Key words:  personality, stress of the teachers.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know whether there are significant effects of grammar mastery and logical thinking towards scientific article writing skill.The research was conducted at Private University in East Jakarta with total population 160 students and for the sample 80 students that randomly taken. The method used in the research was a survey. Data of Grammar Mastery, Logical Thinking, and Scientific Article Writing were acquired from the test. The data was analysed using descriptive statistical method, multiple correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. To test the statistics is used ttest and ftest . The result of data analyzes shown there are significant effects of grammatical mastery and logical thinking towards scientific article writing skill. Keywords: Grammar Mastery, Logical Thinking, and Scientific Article Writing Skill.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the public service activity was to improve the young children ability in English Vocabulary. The media used in this acitivity is children English songs for teaching vocabulary. The participants of this activity were 2 teachers and 20 children who live at Cibeurem Cisarua Bogor. Abstract

Abstract: This research has been implemented by using book references about the population of exceptional people are who those retarded people. Data of exceptional people in Indonesia are difference from one institusion to another institusion. Therefore to have acurate data of prevalence retarted people, it will use theoretical distribution of IQ score based on normal curve and low social competence or adaptive behavior. However child is different in some way from the “average” youngster, such a child may have problems or special talents in thinking, seeing, hearing, speaking, socializing or moving. They need special education varied from most intensive to mostintegrated, beside  in Indonesia number of children who registered in school are still low.  Government have to increase the number of school government of exceptional children, to help the parents who have exceptional childrent for going to school freely. Another case that government have to help private school by giving them fund. Hopely the number of student who enrol to school will increse. Keywords: exceptional people, retarded people, normal curve
