Abstract

The based research is a problem in e-learning writing exposition text. The material of exposition text often not done because the student lack ability to write a text of exposition. The foregoing motivated researcher to make further analyzed about application e-learning writting exposition text make use approach deduktive assistance animated video as method learning. The purpose of researched is to describe a student difficulties in e-learning writing exposition text at aspects cognitive and psycho motor. The method used in this research is descriptive. The research sample is student of class VIII at SMPN 1 Ngamprah, with the quantity subject of 20 student. The research implemented with twice of learning meetings. The data collected through instruments of testing cognitive and psycho motor. The result of research showed that students have difficulty to complete both cognitive and psycho motor test. In cognitive test, the student have difficulty on solving the question about analyzing the structure and elements of exposition. Whereas in psycho motor test, student had difficulty to complete the spelling (EBI) aspect. After analyzed, it can be concluded that student difficulties in e-learning writing exposition text can be divided into two aspect. In cognitive aspect student had difficulty in analyzing the structure and element of exposition text, whereas in psycho motor aspect, student had difficulty in implementing the spelling (EBI) to the text.

Abstract

Song lyrics are a series of pitched words to be sung as a form of self-expression from a musician. There is a musician's message or social criticism on the song lyrics he creates. Likewise with the song lyrics Buktikan, there is social criticism of the song lyrics. Because the lyrics of this song Buktikan by Iwan Fals have deep social criticism, the authors make the lyrics of this song as research material. The author formulates any social critism contained in the song lyrics Buktikan. The purpose of this study is to describe the social criticism of the results of the song analysis. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method which is carried out by describing the lyrics of the song and then examined using Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic approach by means of sign, reference sign (object), and use of signs (interpretant) so that social criticism of the lyrics of this song can be known. The results of this research that become a sign are song lyrics Buktikan, then the object is the social context of the songwriter, and what becomes the interpretant is the result of lowering the song lyrics to a certain meaning. The social criticism contained in the lyrics of this song is criticism that focuses on the government not only to break promises, but also needs to prove it.

Abstract

This reasearch was motivated by the researcher’s curiosity about the application of the method of discovery learning in online learning, especially in writing negotiation text in class X. The formulation of the problem of this study is how the results and responses of students to the application of discovery learning method in class X negotiation text material? The purpose of this study was to examine the results and responses of students to the application of the discovery learning method of writing negotiation text in class X. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The sample used in this study were 33 students of class X IBB SMAN 1 Batujajar. The instruments used in this study were knowledge tests, skills tests and student quitionnaires. The results showed that the knowledge test based on the group was categorized as very good with an average value of 88,84. The knowledge test based on the individual was categorized as good with an average value of 75,90. The individual-based skill test was categorized as good with an average of 83,93. The The results of the student questionnaire with a total score of 1.949 were categorized as good with a percentage of 82,028%. So, it can be concluded that the discovery learning method is suitable for online learning in class X negotiation text material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes in online learning to write fable texts with a constructivism-based creative approach to learning and what difficulties students experience in writing fable texts; to find out students' responses to online learning to write fable texts with a constructivism-based creative learning approach. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and questionnaires. The success of learning is seen from the results of the knowledge and skills test which shows the average value of both of them is 73 and has met the achievement indicators. The difficulty of the knowledge test questions with a score of 4 and 5 regarding the command to determine the structure of the fable text, while the difficulty of the skill question with a score of 93 is found in the linguistic rules, namely conjunctions. The results of the response were very good during the learning process by showing a percentage of 83%. Judging from student learning outcomes and the results of student responses, the methods and media used can motivate students in online learning to write fable texts.

Abstract

Setiap seniman memiliki cara dan gayanya sendiri untuk mengungkapkan perasaan-perasaan yang ada di dalam dirinya. Pelukis yang ulung mengungkapkan perasaannya melului lukisan-lukisannya. Seniman sastra mengungkapkan perasaannya melalui sebuah puisi, novel bahkan karya-karya yang bersifat nonfikasi sekalipun. Selain itu, ada juga seorang penyanyi yang mengungkapkan perasaan sedih dan senangnya melalui barisan kata-kata indah nan bermakna yang terangkum dalam sebuah lirik lagu. Sudah barang tentu semua karya-karya tersebut selalu ampuh membius para penikmatnya dan karya-karyanya selalu ditunggu banyak penggemarnya. Berbicara soal lirik lagu, tentu saja tidak tercipta secara otodidak tentunya melalui proses kreatif yang di alami oleh sang pencipta sampai dengan dapat didengar oleh penikmatnya. Sebuah lirik lagu tidak dapat terlepas dari majas. Peneliti akan melakukan sebuah penelitian yang berdasarkan pada majas. Penelitian ini memilih lagu yang berjudul “Azan Subuh Masih di Telinga” karya dari seorang penyair legendaris Indonesia yaitu Iwan Fals. Alasan peneliti memilih topik ini agar para penggiat literasi mengetahui bahwa keragaman bahasa dapat ditemui dimana saja, termasuk di dalam sebuah lirik lagu. Selain itu, hal ini juga penting untuk memotivasi para penyair yang hendak membuat sebuah karya agar tetap memperhatikan gaya bahasa yang akan digunakan, hal tersebut agar lebih mengandung kiasan makna yang mendalam. Peneliti menggunakan kajian stilistika untuk menganalisis majas yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu tersebut, kata stilistika mengingatkan kita pada style atau gaya. Dalam Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia, kata stilistika yaitu ilmu tentang penggunaan gaya bahasa dengan gaya bahasa di dalam karya sastra. Pengkajian terhadap objek penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data, yaitu dengan membaca lirik lagu yang akan dianalisis, memahami makna lirik lagu tersebut, kemudian menemukan kata-kata yang mengandung majas dalam lirik lagu tersebut lalu kemudian mendeskripsikannya. Setelah proses penelitian ini dilakukan maka hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa lirik lagu “Azan Subuh Masih di Telinga” karya Iwan Fals, bahwasanya kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa lirik lagu tersebut mengandung berbagai macam majas perbandingan; simile, personifikasi, eufemisme, hiperbola dan metafora. Majas penegasan tautologi, serta majas sindiran sinisme.

Abstract

This article describes the application of I.A. Richards theory in the poem "Lagu Rindu" by Heri Isnaini. The use of this theory includes the application of physical elements and inner elements to poetry. These elements define a poem into a whole work. Poetry analysis in this article will discuss and explain the structure of poetry consisting of typography, verse, array, diction, and majas. Meanwhile, the inner elements discussed include themes, tones, feelings, and mandates. The application of I.A. Richards theory shows that the poem "Lagu Rindu" by Heri Isnaini has strong elements that build poetry as a whole and meaningful. Thus, this research resulted in a comprehensive discussion of poetry so that poetry can be understood from the physical and inner elements in accordance with the application of the theory of I.A. Richards. In addition, the application of this theory shows a deep meaning in poetry and its relation to other texts so that poetry can give good effect and character formation and learning experience.

Abstract

In the development of this era, literary works are easier to enter in the lives of literary connoisseurs, literary works that are often encountered in society, one of which is short stories or we often call short stories. A short story but has a very important meaning in life, has moral and social values related to today's era. As in the short story "The True Man" by Putu Wijaya, which has a high imagination, and the process of telling a coherent story content needs to be given an appropriate assessment by familiar characters, namely a mother and her daughter who are conducting a question and answer process about the life of a real man. in this day and age. This study aims to analyze the moral and social values in the short story of the True Man by Putu Wijaya. This research can be useful for readers and can improve the ability to analyze the moral and social values contained in the short story. The method in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data source is taken from one of Hardiyanti Nurill's blogs on the Internet. The data were analyzed using a sociology of literature approach, namely analyzing and interpreting moral and social values. The results of the analysis found the moral and social values of the short story for a real man, namely, the moral value contained in Putu Wijaya's short story for a real man is in the part when the mother explains what a real man looks like to her teenage daughter. The social value contained in the short story is in the section where a young woman asks her mother about what a real man is like.
