Abstract

One of the methods that can improve student learning outcomes in subjects BAM is talking stick method, using the media stick. The study was conducted using action research, the research subjects were students of class VIII 4 SMP 14 Padang. Researchers collaborate with colleagues to carry out research in two cycles in collecting student data. Then the data is processed by using the t test an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes, with satisfactory results, it is seen from the average pre cycle of 68.5 to an average of 76.16 in the first cycle and an average of 86.16 on the implementation of the second cycle. This means an increase in the average learning outcomes of pre-cycle to the first cycle of 7.66 and from cycle I to cycle II of 10.00. From pre-cycle to cycle I 3,357 t> t table 1.031 and from cycle I to cycle II 5.282 t count> t table 1.031. Thus the hypothesis proposed action proved correct. Application of the method are done talking stick is a good teacher in the learning process proved to be effective in improving student learning outcomes. Keywords: Methods talking stick, BAM, Improved Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The puproses of this study were to detect and to analysis : Connection between Multimedia Facility with the Upgrade of Students Study Result at State Junior School 2 Padang. The technique of sample withdrawal the thing which used is purposive random sampling which is take building on studi result database. The result of this research indicate that multimedia facility is related to significant about the upgrade of students study result with significant degree 0.000 (0.000 < 0.01), in the manner of achievement pearson correlation as big as 0.0547 with significant degree as big as .000 ≤ 0.01 level up at multimedia facility variable. If sig. ≤ 0,05 then ho is acceptance and ha to push away and if sig . > 0,05 then ho to push away ang ha is acceptance, with connection significant correlation at the 0,01 level.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to out of influenced of the teaching cooperatif learning method type think pair share ti improving motivation and atudent learning outcomes. The research using classroom research method (CAR).The object of this research is students class X GB 2 State SMK 2 Karang Baru Aceh Tamiang. The students divided into 11 groups in pairs. The CAR was done into 2 cyclus in every ciclus used different subject matters of fine art history. The results this study shown that the study results was improved from 68,48 first cyclus, 78,91 at 2nd cyclus. The improving of the student study result not only because of the teaching proses but also by group discussion of the student that implemented Think Pair Share. On the other hand by using of the teaching method above, the student activity and motivation also are improved. The used of the method of Think Pair Share was improved the student understanding because they are got a lot of discussed, drilled, and reading of the teaching materials. Keywords : Method Think Pair Share, Improved Motivation and Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the correlation beween using powerpoint as learning media with activities and the result of fine art study of the Senior High School students in SMA PGRI 1 Padang. The datas of the study are result of research which are taken after teacher explain the lesson by using powerpoint and questionniare which are filled by students or samples. The sources of data in this research are primary datas that are collected from the students directly through questionare and secondary data in the form of students learning result. The data of 3 learning media powerpoint and students learning activities are taken through questionare and students learning result are taken through teacher‟s evaluation. The result of the study finds that there are correlation between using powerpoint as learning media with learning activity r arithmetic(0,671)> r table (0,159) therefore the hypothesis accepted, for correlation between using learning media power point with students learning result r arithmetic( ) > r table (0,159) the hypothesis accepted, and for correlation between students learning activities point with students learning result r arithmetic( ) > r table (0,159) the hypothesis accepted. Key words: power point, learning activities, result of study.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to describe the connection between the theoretical capability with the ability to practice the subject matter of visual art class VII student of SMP Negeri 12 Padang. This type of research is correlational research with quantitative research approaches. The technique data was collected with engineering documentation. Data collection tool is a documentation sheet. The data that processed with descriptive techniques and Pearson product moment correlation. Index of correlation (rxy) table of 0.474 (KD = 22.5%) < rxy count of 6.612. It means that the presence of a significant positive connection between the ability of theory with practical skills in the degree 05%. Key word: Theoretical ability; practical ability; visual art; sum.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe 1) Carano motif form in the Siguntur Kingdom, 2) Carano motif functions in the Siguntur Kingdom, 3) Carano motif meaning in the Siguntur Kingdom. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data in this study were obtained form two types of data are primary data, in the form of oral testimony of a royal heir Siguntur and expert carving patterns, secondary data is a written document in the form of photographs and literature. Data collection procedures through observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was performed with data collection, data reduction, data classification, data display and conclusion. Checking the validity of the findings made by the technique of triangulation. Our results are found to form, function and meaning carano motif in the Kingdom Siguntur Dharmasraya. Key words : Form, function, meaning, motif, carano.

Abstract

The purpose of this promotion booklet design was (1) to promote SMP Islam Terpadu Darul Hikmah Pasaman Barat toward the society of Pasaman Barat and out of Pasaman Barat, (2) to design an effective, efficient, and interesting bucklet visually and verbally, so that the aim and the purpose of this design could be achieved, (3) to create a spesific design. The data was collected by using primery and secondary sources. The methodology of research used in creating this final project was analysis of 5W+1H (What, Who, Why, When, Where, How). The result of this design was the profil booklet of SMP IT Darul Hikmah Pasaman Barat. Kata Kunci: perancangan, buklet, profil.

Abstract

This study aims to discribe the implementation of the Cultural Art Learning in class X SMKN 2 Karang Baru Aceh Tamiang about: 1) Organization of learning, 2) Submission of learning, 3) learning management. The data collection activities include the collection of data obtained through direct observation, interviews, archives and documents. The findings of the study are: 1) the organization of the learning content by GS on every class has implemented the strategy of micro and macro strategies. 2) delivery of learning undertaken by GS looks had engged in media containing components of learning, student interaction and media, and form of learning. 3) teachers have implemented a learning management that includes scheduling the use of intructional strategies, note taking students’ progress, and management of student motivation. Cultural art learning activities that teacher have implemented learning management strategies. But teacher do not learn to control. Kata kunci: pembelajaran, seni budaya, SMKN 2 karang baru
