Abstract

Aiming at visualizing melancholy as something that gives social instability in one’s life and environment, through surrealism graphic art.In the creation of a work of art, it is necessary to make various preparations, including making  observations, information seeking, appreciation, contemplation, extracting references, and literature relating to the initial idea, as well as indirectly deepening the material around the environment  according to these problems.Through this graphic art the author develops in the form of work of art, some works of art that have  been presented exclusively namely: behind the scene, sadness, sacrifice, comfort in solitude, comfort in silence, pessimism, pressed, listener, thinkers, and romance. This is the main point of troubling things in life from melancholy.Keywords: Melancholy in Graphic Art.

Abstract

AbstrakKarya akhir ini bertujuan untuk menvisualisasikan gerakan tari tradisional mengagah harimau ini dengan bentuk lukisan, supaya tari tradisi mengagah harimau ini tidak hilang/tidak memudar.Tari mengagah harimau merupakan salah satu tari tradisional masyarakat Pulau Tengah Kabupaten Kerinci. Tari ini ditampilkan dalam acara penting, seperti pengangkatan lembaga adat, konduri sko dan pesta danau. Gerak merupakan awalan dari tari, maka tidak ada tarian tanpa gerak. Segala bentuk gerak tari mempunyai pesan yang akan disampaikan tetapi dengan bentuk gerakan. Bentuk gerakan tari tradisional mengagah harimau ini divisualkan dalam sepuluhkarya lukis yang lebih mengutamakan gerakan tari sebagai objek utama, dengan judul: 1). Groak pamukoak, 2). Ngko matai ateh, 3). Ngko kedadea, 4). Ngko kamukea, 5). Ngko marawo, 6). Ngko nak npow, 7). Ngko matai aweng, 8). Ngko silang, 9). Nanjoak kateh, 10). Nanjoak kaweng.AbstractThis final work aims to visualize the movements of the traditional dance amuse tiger in painting form, in order that amuse tiger traditions are not losing/not fading. Amuse tiger dance is one of the traditional dance of Pulau Tengah villagers in Kerinci regency. This dance is featured in an important event, such as the removal of traditional institutions, konduri sko and lake festival. The movements are a beginning of the dance. The movements are a beginning of the dance, so there’s no dance without the movements. All forms of dance has messages to deliver but in movement forms. All forms of this traditional dance’s movement amuse tiger are visualized in ten painting works that give priority to movement as the main object, titled : 1). Groak pamukoak, 2). Ngko matai ateh, 3). Ngko kedadea, 4). Ngko kamukea, 5). Ngko marawo, 6). Ngko nak npow, 7). Ngko matai aweng, 8). Ngko silang, 9). Nanjoak kateh, 10). Nanjoak kaweng.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the effect of instructional media use Prezi to the learning outcomes of students in Arts in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Padang.The methodology of this research is quantitative method in this research is to design a method Quasi Exsperiments nonequivalent control group design. The sample selection study was conducted with a purposive sampling technique. Sampling criteria are the number of students at most incomplete, namely class VII.1 (Experiment) and VII.3. (Control). The instrument used is the achievement test. This type of instrument is objectively shaped test article with a double election a total of 20 questions.The results showed that there are differences in outcomes after the implementation of instructional media art Prezi in the material in class VII SMPN 3 Padang. Based on the hypothesis test carried out that the value of t = 8.210 and ttable = 2.000. This means that tcount> ttable, then Ho is rejected and H1 accepted. It can be concluded that the "results of student learning taught by instructional media Prezi significantly higher compared with the learning outcomes of students who are taught using conventional teaching in the classroom control".Keywords: Media Learning Prezi, and Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Objek wisata merupakan ciptaan tuhan yang sangat bermanfaat dan dicari oleh seluruh masyarakat yang menginginkannya, namun wisata bisa tidak berguna bagi masyarakat jika tidak diketahui dan dilestarikan, Objek wisata alam Lubuak Godang merupakan tempat wisata yang tersembunyi dan harus dipromosikan dan dikembangkan agar semua kalangan masyarakat bisa menikmati keindahan alamnya. Kenyataanya pada saat ini Objek wisata alam Lubuak Godang masih tetap tersembunyi, dengan adanya website Objek wisata alam Lubuak Godang diharapkan bisa diketahui oleh masyarakat banyak karena dipromosikan melalui media online yang bisa diakses kapan saja oleh masyarakat.Oleh sebab itu untuk memperkenalkan dan juga menginformasikan wisata alam Lubuak Godang, dibutuhkan rancangan media promosi yang efektif dan efisien serta memiliki jangkauan yang luas bagi wisata alam Lubuak Godang tersebut, agar nantinya tujuan untuk memperkenalkan wisata alam Lubuak Godang ini dapat tercapai kepada target audience. Untuk proses perancangan dimulai dengan pengumpulan data, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sehingga masalah yang terjadi dalam wisata alam Lubuak Godang dapat diketahui, dari identifikasi masalah tersebut dianalis dengan menggunakan teori 5W1H (What, When, Who, Why, dan How), dengan memahami seluruh informasi dalam suatu kasus.Lubuak Godang perlu untuk dijadikan sebagai tempat objek wisata alam, media website dan media poster, mug, pin, stiker, baju, topi, kartu nama, kalender, diharapkan mampu mempromosikan keberadaan dan keindahan alam Lubuak Godang ke masyarakat lokal dan macanegara.Kata kunci : wisata alam Lubuak Godang, website, dan Efektif.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to (1) describe the shape of carving design in Masjid Asasi Kota Padang Panjang, (2) to describe the meaning of carving design in Masjid Asasi Kota Padang Panjang. The type of this research uses qualitative research in which specifically attributed to descriptive. The data of the research comes from the carving design in Masjid Asasi. The source of the research is given by an informan who does comprehend about Minangkabau carving and Masjid Asasi. The data is assembled through observation, interview and documentation. The research finds that there are 15 shapes of the carving design in Masjid Asasi Kota Padang Panjang. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the carving design in Masjid Asasi comes from nature consist of animal, plan, and geometry. The meaning of the carving design in Masjid Asasi is as a model value and prohibition which is engraved in the Masjid’s wall for hundred years.Kata kunci: motif ukiran,bentuk, makna, Masjid.

Abstract

The research objectives to be achieved in this study were to improve the learning outcomes of  Cultural Arts in Fine Arts material for students of class VIII B SMP 1 Bukittinggi with the  application of peer tutoring learning methods. This research is classroom action research and  observation. Data usage techniques used are tests and observations. Based on the coefficients table, the value of t count of the cycle I -0.885 is smaller than t table and t count of cycle II -2.145 is greater than t table which is 0.040 then the hypothesis is rejected. So it can be concluded that the use of the Peer Tutor Learning method has a significant effect on the learning outcomes in Art Culture lessons in Art material at SMP 1 Bukittinggi. Then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.  Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the use of peer tutoring learning methods to improve student learning outcomes in learning arts and culture at SMP 1 Bukittinggi .Keywords: peer tutoring, learning outcomes

Abstract

One of the methods that can improve student learning outcomes in subjects BAM is talking stick method, using the media stick. The study was conducted using action research, the research subjects were students of class VIII 4 SMP 14 Padang. Researchers collaborate with colleagues to carry out research in two cycles in collecting student data. Then the data is processed by using the t test an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes, with satisfactory results, it is seen from the average pre cycle of 68.5 to an average of 76.16 in the first cycle and an average of 86.16 on the implementation of the second cycle. This means an increase in the average learning outcomes of pre-cycle to the first cycle of 7.66 and from cycle I to cycle II of 10.00. From pre-cycle to cycle I 3,357 t> t table 1.031 and from cycle I to cycle II 5.282 t count> t table 1.031. Thus the hypothesis proposed action proved correct. Application of the method are done talking stick is a good teacher in the learning process proved to be effective in improving student learning outcomes. Keywords: Methods talking stick, BAM, Improved Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to visualize the social life of hawkers into contemporary realist painting. The hawkers have also varied from child, teenagers, adults, men and women. There are five methods used in creating this, thesis, they are: preparation, elaboration stage, the stage of synthesis, and the realization phase began sketching concepts, moving sketch, preparation of tools and materials, working and finishing processes. The last stage is the completion of up to exhibit. Ten appointed work is to visualize the social life of hawkers in the works of contemporary realist painting as a great struggle carried hawkers to be able to continue to live under economic pressure.Kata kunci: Kehidupan sosial pedagang asongan, realis kontemporer

Abstract

This research havena purposento develop the work creativityof “Seni Rupa” with use contextual approach to student grade VII4 and VII8. The result of this research show that the value average which use contexual apporoach is about 81.33 and the one which use conventional method have value average about 72.90. This is show up that the creativity differences in worksmin the fine art. Independent influence to dependent variable that show that value t count = 4.077 and t table = 2.048 > 0.05 take positive effect to the significant off work in the fine art sector.Keywordn: development,ncreativity,ncontextualnapproach

Public awareness should also grown to love theforest by way of keeping, caring for and preserving and maintaining the balanceof the human relationship with nature in order to create a harmonious life . Toexpress these events, the authors learns various phenomena of forest destructionin Indonesia through various media such as television, newspapers, books, andthrough observation of dry trees without leaves, barren and arid forests are locatedaround the writer’s residence.
