Abstract

Equivalent education package B based on the 2013 curriculum is a non-school education program that is equivalent to formal junior high school education. The delivery of education is carried out by following the curriculum that should be the 2013 curriculum and is expected to answer solutions for people who drop out of school or who need education. This study aims to find out how Equivalent Education Learning Package B based on 2013 Curriculum and what factors influence the learning process. This research was conducted at the Samarinda City Learning Activity Center specifically the Package B program. Data collection in this study using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed that the implementation of equality education package B based on the 2013 curriculum in Samarinda City SKB consisted of three stages, namely planning, implementation, and assessment of learning and factors influencing the learning outcomes of citizens learning package B. by developing learning tools that will be used for learning, that is, compiling lesson plans and syllabi that are adapted to the equality education module package B curriculum 2013 and recruiting citizens to learn by open and individual socialization.

Abstract

The Mandar tribe is one of the tribes in the province of West Sulawesi which has various local wisdoms. The Sendana community as one of the communities in the land of Mandar calls the name bamboo Tarring, in Sendana Village there are many types of bamboo that are grown and deliberately planted by residents, with many types of bamboo there are some of the residents who do not know the name, type, and use as well as the special meaning in the bamboos they encounter. This research is expected to provide useful data information in supporting the science of bamboo plants, as well as a library material for related parties in the context of developing the potential and utilization of bamboo. This research is a qualitative research with an interpretive description approach. Furthermore, the research refers to a semiotic analysis study based on Ferdinand De Saussure's theory by looking at the markers (signified) and markers (signifier) contained in the arrangement of the use of bamboo. Data collection techniques will use a documentation and interview system. Based on the results of the semiotic analysis of the use of bamboo in every activity that is considered sacred and the use of bamboo as the main material for the holy prayer, including substances that form the body, human existence, worship, forming blood according to its function, the cycle of human life, the structure of the building (Gazebo), tourism Mandar.

Abstract

This study aims: to determine the relationship between visitor occupancy rates and the income level of owners of tourist homestays in Bontomarannu Village, Uluere District, Bantaeng Regency. The analytical method used 1) Simple Regression Analysis which is to find out the form of relationship between visitor occupancy rates (X) and owners (Y) income. 2) Simple correlation analysis is used to determine the closeness of relationship between two variables and to find out the direction of the relationship that occurs. 3) The Determination Coefficient can be used to find out how much the percentage of homestay relationships (variable X) to owners (Y) income. The results of this study indicate: 1) The number of visitors both local and foreign tourists fluctuate every month, except for 2 consecutive months, namely in April - May 2017 experiencing a decrease due to coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan and Idhul Fitri the majority of people in the village of Bontomarannu, are Muslim. 2) Based on the results of the calculation of correlation analysis, then r = 0.99, which means that there has been a perfect and positive linear relationship between variables x and y variables. 3) Based on the calculation in table t for a 5% error at df = n-2, obtained t table 1.701. It turns out that t count is 23.30> t table 1.701 thus, then the alternative hypothesis  is accepted and null hypothesis  is rejected, the conclusion is significant relationship between occupancy rate of visitors and income level of owners.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research with the aim of knowing the improvement of student mathematics learning outcomes throught the application of the TGT learning model with Ultaphygo teaching aids. This research includes planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. motivated by the low learning outcomes of students at SMK Mega Link Majene in mathematics. The research subjects were students of class X SMK Mega Link Majene. Data collection techniques used student activity observation sheets, learning implementation observation sheets, and student learning outcomes tests at the end of each cycle. Each data collected at the end of the cycle was analyzed quantitatively by using descriptive statistics for student learning outcomes, while student activity and learning implementation used qualitative analysis. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes from pre cycle to first cycle. This can be seen in the average student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle test results of 78.34, then an increase in the first cycle with an  average student learning outcomes of 87.66 with a completeness percentage of 89.05% of 37 students. Likewise, student activity also experienced an increase from pre-cycle an average of 78% to an average of 93% in the first cycle with the very good category. Based on the description, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the learning achievement of students' mathematics learning activities through the application of the TGT learning model using Ultaphygo teaching aids.

Abstract

In general, the learning process is only related to academic learning. However, it is different from culinary skills which are generally only implemented if there is training or activities that lead to specific training. However, in SPNF SKB Samarinda City implements culinary skills as learning is routinely carried out even into the curriculum so that it has a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of learning culinary skills to make a "Pastry Cake" for Residents Learning Package C Class XI IPS at SPNF SKB Samarinda City. This type of research is a Qualitative Research in which the focus of research is Learning Catering Skills Making "Pastry Cake". This research was conducted at the SPNF SKB Samarinda City with 7 personnel as the subject of research including the head of the institution, 2 tutors, and 4 learning residents. Data collection techniques using interviews as the main method and observation and documentation as a support. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data simplification, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed: in the implementation phase in the learning activities of culinary skills using the 2013 curriculum, using group practice methods and carried out on Sundays starting at 09.00 am to finish. From the results of the above research it can be concluded that the process of implementing culinary skills learning to make "pastry cakes" for residents learning package c class XI IPS at SPNF SKB Samarinda City must meet all stages of the implementation in order to be well implemented. Citizens learn also to get the skills they can get.

Abstract

This study aims to see how to instill the value of Pancasila in students.The appropriate type of research is descriptive qualitative research.The research instrument used deep interview, observation and documentation.Research Subjects are Educators /Teachers.The focus of this research is the cultivation of the three principles of Pancasila by educators/teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Polewali, West Sulawesi Province.It was found that the implementation of the implanting of the three values of Pancasila in students was carried out by institutions/schools through the role of educators in the learning process in the classroom, through planting material, extracurricular activities, collaborative activities with local government partners, as well as community and parent participation.

Abstract

Deviation of behavior in adolescents with various forms of behavior that exceed the limits has become a social phenomenon at this time and makes society uneasy. There are many causes for juvenile delinquency. This deviant behavior also cannot be tolerated continuously and must be given a solution to deviant behavior through real actions. This article research uses qualitative methods using a case study approach. The data obtained in this study were obtained through two sources, namely through the literature study method where data were obtained from journals, articles, and others. Abstract

This study aims at investigating the effect of the integrated local wisdom on English Learning at university Students. The research employed a quasi-experimental design. The experimental class was taught by implementing the integrated local wisdom on English Learning and the non-experimental class by conventional strategy. The subject was the 152 second semester students of Non-English Language teaching Department, Al Asyariah Mandar University. The sample was randomly selected to be one of the classes into the experimental group and the other one into the control group. Since the statistical assumptions were not fulfilled in this study therefore, the data were analyzed by utilizing non parametric testing: Mann–Whitney U and Kruskall-Wallis. The mean score of the students’ reading comprehension achievement in the end of the study was 79.63 in the experimental group while the mean score of the students’ achievement in control group was 56.76 and the p-value was .000, meaning was smaller than level of significance 0.05 (sig 0.000 < 0.05). The finding showed that the integrated local wisdom on English Learning statistically impacted students’ skill using English as Communication devise in daily life compared to one taught using the Conventional strategy.
