Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of addition of banana king skin pectin extract and extract pectin banana kepok skin to physical and chemical characteristics of tomato jam. This research was an experimental research with a complete factorial randomized design consisting of two factors with variation of banana peel extract (banana peel king and banana peel kepok) with pectin concentration (0.5% and 0.6%) was done with 4 treatments and 3 times repetition. The variables observed were methoxyl pectin test, hedonic test, water content test, pH value test, sucrose and pectin test. The analytical technique used in this study is the analysis of variance analyzed using SPSS version 20. The results showed that banana peel pectin extract did not affect the color, taste, and aroma of tomato jam but only affect the texture of tomato jam produced. The best tomato jam was obtained from the addition of extract pectin banana husk 0.6% with 2.78% methoxyl content, 33.58% moisture content, 2.73% pH, 65.28% sucrose content, and 0.81% pectin content.

Abstract

This research aim is to know the description of nutrition quality from fermented shrimp feed that has been formulated. This research is divided into two stages. The first stage was the manufacture of flour which continues by analysis of protein levels, fat content, crude fiber levels, carbohydrate levels, moisture content and ash content and the second stage is the manufacture of fermentation shrimp feed. The type of this research is experiment using T test to compare treatment addition of mujair fish and addition of golden snail which is processed by using SPSS version 22. The parameters observed in fermentation shrimp feed include protein levels, fat content, crude fiber content, carbohydrate levels, moisture content and ash content. Based on the results of the best treatment research, it was obtained by addition of mujair fish with protein levels 20,8%, fat content 8,82%, crude fiber content 10,79%, carbohydrate content 45,94%, water content 3,65% and ash content 10,12 %.

Abstract

Lembang Mesakada village is the most potential village in the plantation sector, especially coffee cultivation. Every year, the coffee farming community in Lembang Mesakada village is able to produce hundreds of tons of coffee beans. The high coffee harvest is what affects the amount of waste of coffee peel produced in coffee processing. The village of Lembang Mesakada itself has a total population of about 4,523. In this village the unemployment rate of out-of-school children is still very high due to uneven economic factors as well as the lack of motivation factors, as well as the lack of employment in the village that can change their lifestyle. The purpose of this activity is to provide employment to drop out children by utilizing waste from coffee skin so as to reduce environmental pollution and processed products can improve the welfare of the community, especially breeders, especially for ruminant livestock. The method used is the initial stage of preparation of tools and materials, Implementation Phase includes the stage of giving the material, the stage of making local microorganism (MOL), the mixing stage of the material, the fermentation stage, the feed drying stage, the feeding stage for livestock and the final stage of monitoring and evaluation. The result of the impact of activities for drop out children to ruminants produced is calculated based on responses in the form of questionnaires distributed with the number of respondents 20 people showed 68% are in very high category, 32% are in high category, and 0% are categorized as moderate and category low and very low 0%.

Abstract

The condition of fishery resources in Barru Regency can still be categorized as good fishery and not yet widely used, due to lack of adequate fishing catch fisheries. One of the locations of fishing operations in Barru namely Mallusetasi waters. The dominant fishing gear used in fishing operations in Barru include seine trawl, fishing rod, gill net, tap chart and floating chart but still not giving optimal result. the goal in this program is the application of LED-based fishing technology and the determination of the frequency of sound can be useful for the fishermen community and increase the number of catch and environmentally friendly. This activity is divided into 3 stages namely the initial stage (preparation), the stage of implementation, and the final stage all of which was carried out approximately for 5 months. PKM has a promising potential both in terms of knowledge and its application. PIBER LEDFRESUR during its application gives effect to the number of fisherman catch and the amount of compression / economy of new bojo fishermen in new regency. With the use of PIBER LEDFRESUR the energy used is relatively small as well as the most gterpenting environmentally friendly. The catch of a fisherman usually 1 capture in 4 hours now using FIBER LEDFRESUR rose to 4 times in 4 hours, with a catch of 20 kg per catch

Abstract

South  Sulawesi  Province,  Indonesia.  Some  of  the  fishermen  have  a step chart that works with several other fishermen, and the income they receive  will  be  shared  equally. When  the  weather  is  friendly  and moonlight,  the  fisherman  will  get  a  lot  of  fish  in  this  step  chart,  this certainly affects the level of objection in the process of lifting the net. The chart can be made more efficient by automatically creating a net mesh lift tool to make it easier to lift nets so that in the removal of these nets one person can do it. From this automatic netting device, it is expected to help the  fishermen  to  ease  the  work  in  terms  of  lifting  the  net.  This  activity aims to: 1) to make it easier for fishermen to lift a fixed net net; 2) to take the time for fishermen to lift the step chart. 3) to facilitate the fishermen in  the  operation  of  tools  and  methods  for  treating  Aotokat  Japer.  The specific  target  to be  achieved  is  the  creation  of  an  automatic  net  lifting technology and supported by microcontroller technology with a net lifting automation system so as to optimize the process of lifting nets so as to reduce  the  work  of  fishermen  and  not  require  many  people.  The  time measurement  results  that  have  been  carried  out  can  be  concluded  that Aotokat Japer is faster than the manual system.

Abstract

This community service aims to empower the unproductive community in Wonosari Village through the utilization of cocoa pulp waste into Nata De Cacao. This method of community service is divided into three stages: preparation stage, implementation stage, and final stage. The result of community service is the community has handled the utilization of cocoa bean pulp waste into Nata De Cacao. The society's understanding of the making of Nata De Cacao is quite high. But after we do the evaluation, people still need guidance in making Nata De Cacao. People love the Nata De Cacao that we make when conducting training on the utilization of cacao bean pulp waste. After we deliver the training, the community is well received and their thinking starts to open with the utilization of cacao pulp waste into Nata De Cacao can reduce environmental pollution and can be used as an opportunity for entrepreneurship. Therefore, with the utilization of this pulp waste can change the behavior of unproductive communities to be productive.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve student learning result of ATPH class (Agribusiness Of Food Crop And Horticulture) X.1 SMK Negeri 3 Takalar  by  using  cooperative  learning  model  of  TGT  type  on  vegetative  propagation subject. The research procedure includes stages: (a) planning, (b) implementation, (c) observation, and (d) reflection. The data collected is qualitative data and quantitative data. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model type TGT can improve student learning outcomes seen from the data of test results learning. This is evident in the initial test, cycle I and cycle II student learning outcomes continue to increase. In pre test the average value 66.06 with mastery learning 62.5%, the post test cycle I average value 73.12 with mastery learning 75%, the post test cycle II average value 80.83 with mastery of learning 87.5%

Abstract

Based on the data obtained, in reality not a few fishermen find it difficult to catch fish. In addition, the lack of their catch is the main impact of the above problems. If this happens continuously then the number of traditional fishermen will decline so that the need for a concept and tools that can help in increasing the catch one of them is the application of technology LACUBA. The purpose of this research is to apply LACUBA technology (Lampu Kecup under water) which can help the income of fisherman community and to know the fisherman's response to LACUBA technology (Water dye underwater lamp) specially on coastal community Cilelang, Kab. Barru. Implementation of this activity is in the village of Cilellang Kab. Barru in May 2018. This research instrument uses LACUBA (Dye underwater light) which is the result of a series of some electronic components such as Aki (Accu), Dimmer Series and Inverter Circuits. From the calculation of the results of the analysis of fishermen's income data in the village of Cilellang, Kab. Barru before and after the use of LACUBA (Submersible underwater lights) changes significantly. From the data obtained shows that before the use of LACUBA Technology, Fishermen Society only get the catch of an average of 21.88 Kg / day. Meanwhile, after the use of LACUBA technology, the average of the acquisition increased to 43.78 kg / day. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the use of technology LACUBA (Water dye underwater light) to the fishing results in the village of Cilelang Kab. Abstract

Agriculture is generally defined as a cycle of management or cultivation of natural resources by humans, especially in the field of crop resources management. The cultivation process requires several supporting factors to run normally and well, the better the process of agricultural cultivation will be the maximum and the quality of the products produced, and vice versa. Factors determining whether or not the quality of the plant, is determined by 2 main factors, namely land or planting media and the maintenance process because the planting medium is where the growth of plants consisting of solid, liquid and air and the bodies of different content for each type of soil, In order for plant growth can take place properly then the regulator of water antata must be considered, because water directly affect the preparation of plant body and photosynthesis process. One of the most important factors in improving the quality of plants is at the pre-harvest stage, ie there is a watering stage. In the process of watering there is to be considered that the pattern or time of watering because it has a correlation to the process of photosynthesis, especially on horticultural crops are generally in demand by the community as food crops. Based on the main points of mind on the main problem that is, urban communities in the care of plants do not have much time in due to the density of human activity, in the care of the plants is very urgent attention to watering, plant watering done by farmers or urban communities today is generally still done traditional by using timbah or hose directly to water the plants, so in this way is still less efficient because it still rely on human power and not time saving, and the high level of heterogeneity in the distribution of water, then on the other hand many available plastic waste such as plastic cups, paint containers and other plastic containers. Abstract

Manuruki Urban Village is one of the areas that have applied LONGGAR "Garden Lane" but in managing the plant has not been done maximally or not yet neatly arranged. Cultivation of crops with potted media placed along the roadside can reduce the comfort of the driver or the driver if passing through the aisle. One solution to overcome this is by planting vertically. A technology planted in a narrow space by utilizing a vertical field that is done in storied. It is expected that this vertikultur technique can change the behavior of society. Kelurahan Mannuruki Kecamatan Tamalate becomes more productive by cultivating plants through vertikultur technique. The working procedure of this tool includes nursery; The container used in seeding is using the seedling tray and for the planting medium is in the form of rockwool that can absorb water well, planting; Planting is done simultaneously to obtain uniform plant growth, maintenance; fertilizing and watering with a nutritional water AB mix with a dose of 50 ml of nutrients AB mix per 200 litter of water solution. Nutrition is done every day at least 12 hours per day to meet the nutritional needs for plants every day. The change of behavior of Manurukki Urban Village Sub Tamalate Sub-District become more productive by cultivating plants using vertikultur technique in garden aisle in narrow land use.
