Abstract

This research was conducted because of the many problems of political advertising in  the  form  of  billboards  that  use  pictures  legislator  candidates  supported  by  the visualization  of  images  the  artist  as  an  endorser  of  political  advertising.  The phenomenon of the use of photographs and photo artists candidate in political ads we encounter in the aftermath of reform. Before thereform era, we see only the logo image and the image of political parties only in billboard advertisements of political parties. The  study,  observed  four billboard  ads  that  use prospective legislators  as endorsernya artist. Roland Barthess semiotic theory is used to analyze political ads is  to  know  the  meaning  of  the  sign  is  coded  and  not coded  in  the  four  studied political  advertising.  Meanwhile,  the  methodology  used  is  descriptive  qualitative research methodology. By using this methodology, expected to know the meaning of the sign system that works on four political ads. Keywords: Semiotics, Meaning, Signs, and Political advertising

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the Capital Adequacy Ratio ( CAR ) , Loan to Deposit Ratio ( LDR ) and Net Interest Margin ( NIM ) of the Return on Assets ( ROA ) at PT . Bank Mandiri ( Persero ) Tbk . The data used in this study comes from the banks concerned . The data taken in the form of secondary data obtained through the banking statistics quarterly financial report of PT . Bank Mandiri ( Persero ) Tbk in Indonesia during 2008-2012. The analytical method used consists of multiple regression analysis , the classical assumption , hypothesis testing ( t test and F test ) and test the coefficient of determination . From the results of this study concluded that based on regression analysis obtained the following equation : Y = 6.342 + 0.008 + 0.044 XI X2 - 1.176 X3 . In the classical assumption test found a problem in the autocorrelation test , whereas the normality test, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity test there is a problem in the model . Based on the hypothesis testing , the F test is known that jointly ( simultaneously ) variable CAR , NIM and LDR significant effect on ROA . While the t test ( partial testing ) , variable CAR and NIM has no effect on ROA . While variable LDR dominant and significant positive effect on ROA

Abstract

AbstrakMendapatkan informasi melalui kegiatan membaca menjadi salah satu cara dan tujuan yang penting. Membaca adalah keterampilan yang paling penting bagi siswa di dalam proses belajar, karena keberhasilan atau kegagalan mereka di sekolah atau di masyarakat tergantung pada kemampuan mereka dalam proses membaca. Membaca melibatkan interaksi antara jenis teks tertentu atau bahan tertulis dengan si pembaca yang memiliki tujuan untuk memahami isi bahan bacaan. Dalam hal ini diperlukan sebuah strategi membaca yang khusus. Strategi ini haruslah dapat memfasilitasikan pemahaman siswa yang ingin membaca secara lebih efektif. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah Sugestopedia. Sugestopedia adalah suatu metode pengajaran yang didasarkan pada pemahaman modern tentang bagaimana otak manusia bekerja dan bagaimana kita belajar secara efektif. Teknik ini dirancang untuk memberikan siswa lingkungan belajar yang santai, tenang, dengan pencahayaan yang redup dan diiringi dengan musik yang lembut sebagai latarnya. Sehingga proses belajarkhususnya membaca dan memahami text bacaan menjadi lebih menarik.Kata kunci: kegiatan membaca, strategi, metode Sugestopedia.

Abstract

AbstractGetting information through reading activities becomes one of the most important ways. Reading is the most important skill for students to learn, because their success or failure in school or in society depends on their ability to read. Reading involves an interaction between a specific typeof text or written material and a reader who has a purpose for reading that is related to the type of text and the context of the reading situation. Understanding reading material needs a specific reading strategy. The strategy should facilitate the comprehension of the students who want to read effectively. One of the techniques which can be used is Suggestopedia. suggestopedia is a teaching technique which is based on a modern understanding of how the human brain works andhow we learn most effectively. This technique on reading comprehension is designed to give students the learning environment relaxed, subdued, with low lighting and soft music playing in the background.Key words: reading activities, strategy, suggestopedia technique.

Abstract

AbstrakBahasa adalah salah satu alat berkomunikasi. Untuk memahami bahasa, kita harus menciptakan arti kata-kata sebanyak mungkin baik dalam kalimat atau pun secara keseluruhan teks. Kosakata merupakan salah satu elemen yang paling penting dalam bahasa, dan mengajar kosakata jelas lebih dari pada menyajikan kata-kata baru. Pemahaman membaca tergantung pada beberapa keterampilan yang saling terkait: pemahaman bahasa lisan, decoding kata yang dicetak, membaca dengan lancar, dan menggunakan strategi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman. Memahami bahan bacaan memerlukan strategi membaca yang tepat. Strategi ini harus memfasilitasi pemahaman siswa yang ingin membaca secara efektif. Salah satu teknik yang dapat digunakan adalah MetodeLangsung. Ide dari teknik ini adalah bahwa pengajaran bahasa asing harus dilakukan dengan cara yang sama seperti mereka mempelajari bahasa ibu mereka!Kata kunci: Bahasa, Kosakata, PemahamanMembaca, MetodeLangsung.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to know using media puzzle improve the students writing descriptive text for the second graders at SMP Negeri 5 Pasuruan. The researcher used a classroom action research. This research was conducted on April 05th 2017 to May 06th 2017. To get the information about the implementation of the crossword puzzle in descriptive text for writing skill, the researcher used interview, observation, questionnaire, test and documentation. The result of the test at the end of the first cycle showed that 26 students got under 76. It was not successful because it was still below criteria of success which required at least 76 as minimum score. In the cycle two, there were 27 students who got at least or more 76. It can be concluded that all students got the criteria of success, which required at least 76 as the minimum score. Finally, it can be concluded that the result of this research showed that using crossword puzzle can improve the students’ writing skill in teaching learning English. It can help the students to memorize the material easily and it can give positive effect for the students Keywords: Writing, Descriptive, Crossword Puzzle.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to identify polymorphism of transforming growth factor β2 (TGF-β2) gene associated with Salmonella pullorum resistance in Indonesian chickens. Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) assays were used to genotype Indonesian chickens. Analysis of polymorphism was conducted by using PopGen 3.2 software. The effect of genotype on S. pullorum resistance was analyzed using the SAS General Linear Model (GLM) procedure. Genotyping was performed on 278 chickens from 7 Indonesian chicken populations (Sentul, Merawang, Pelung, Kampung, Parent Cobb broiler, The F1 crossbreed of Kampung x Parent Cobb broiler (KB) and F2 KB x KB. The product of amplification was 284 bp. The TGF-β2| RsaI locus was polymorphic in all populations, producing two alleles (T and C) and three genotypes (TT, CT, and CC). The result from the analysis of the allele and genotype frequency showed that the T allele had a higher frequency than the C allele in all populations. The χ2 analysis showed that the 6 chicken populations were deviated from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, with the exception of the Parent Cobb broiler chicken. The association result showed that TT genotype was significantly associated with S. pullorum resistance in Sentul chicken. Although the leukocyte concentration, leukocyte differentiation and H/L ratio in Sentul chicken with three of TGF-β2 genotypes (TT, TC, and CC) were not statistically different. In conclusion, polymorphism in the TGF-β2 chicken gene can be used as a candidate marker to increase S. pullorum immune response.

Abstract

Pesantren is one of the religious education institutions that have gained trust from the people of Indonesia. The position of pesantren as an educational institution, also received government recognition, as mentioned in article 1 verse 4 of PP No.55 of 2007 on Religious Education, that Pesantren or Islamic boarding school is a community-based Islamic education institution. The concept of community-based education at its core is education from society, by society and for society. The study of this article is viewed from the aspect of law, religion, education, social and culture. In addition, the function of PP No.55 of 2007 is expected to not only be a function that is only written in the rules, but also applicable in the implementation. The existence of PP No.55 of 2007 really brings benefits, especially here in the development of pesantren as one form of community-based education institutions.

Abstract

Kota Bengkulu pada tahun 2012 memiliki luas tanam padi sawah 2.913 ha dengan luas panen 2.517 dan produksi 11.957 ton dengan jumlah penduduk 319.100 jiwa (BPS Kota Bengkulu, 2013). Rendahnya luas tanam di kota Bengkulu disebabkan karena banyaknya alih fungsi lahan persawahan untuk dijadikan lokasi perumahan dan pertokoan, akibatnya luas sawah di kota Bengkulu menyusut dari tahun ketahun yang berdampak pada makin berkurangnya rumah tangga usaha produksi padi. Kemampuan produksi beras di kota Bengkulu tidak seimbang dengan jumlah penduduk dan kebutuhan beras yang akan dikonsumsi oleh penduduk kota Bengkulu yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan jumlah penduduk kabupaten lain di propinsi Bengkulu. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk:Mengetahui kebutuhan dan persediaan beras di kota Bengkulu dan untuk memprediksi kebutuhan dan persediaan beras kota Bengkulu lima tahun kedepan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret s/d Juli 2015 di kota Bengkulu Propinsi Bengkulu. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data skunder Data skunder diperoleh dari laporan Dinas, lembaga/instansi, laporan-laporan hasil penelitian serta pihak-pihak terkait dengan cara survey, observasi dengan pendekatan institusional/ lembaga maupun sumber lainnya yang menunjang penelitian ini. Untuk memprediksi permintaan beras lima tahun kedepandigunakan analisis trend linier dengan menggunakan metode least squares method (Ibrahim, 2009). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan beras kota Bengkulu pada tahun 2014 adalah 27.787,7 ton sedangkan persediaan beras hanya 8.318,75 ton (kekurangan 70,06 %).Prediksi kebutuhan beras lima tahun kedepan yaitu pada tahun 2019 adalah 31.838,64 ton sedangkan persediaan hanya 8.921,08 ton (kekurangan 71,98%).
