Abstract

Agriculture is to cultivate and produce crops and livestock products. Agriculture in its associated sectors is unquestionably the largest livelihood provider, in the broad areas of rural India. With the emergence of high tech agriculture farming known as Polyhouse farming came into existence. Polyhouse farming is an alternative new technique which reduces clinging on to natural procedures that are very basic needs of agriculture i.e. rainfall, temperature, humidity and geographical conditions and this result in the most advantageous use of water and land resources. Polyhouse advances to create suitable microclimates, which favour the crop production by simulation of artificial environment using latest computer assisted technology. Yet polyhouse product marketing is an uncovered area which is still neglected and there is a strong need to for an effective marketing intervention or channelization. The liberalized trade environment in general has added another dimension to the poverty of farmers and uncertainty about the future. The paper describes the long established approach of marketing concept of polyhouse agriculture. The relationship between development, marketing and accessibility in polyhouse agriculture is reviewed. We have detected various inadequate parameters, and recognized the need of an effective polyhouse marketing system which may have beneficial impact on farmers.

Abstract

Twelve (12) indigenous browse plants harvested from four districts of Gombi Local Government, Adamawa State were evaluated for their proximate composition. The samples were randomly collected in the study and identified at the Forestry Department, Ministry of Agriculture, Adamawa State. The proximate composition of the collected samples was carried out at the Animal production Nutrition Laboratory of Adamawa University, Mubi. Parameters measured include dry matter (DM), crude fibre (CF), crude protein (CP), Ash (minerals). Nitrogen free extract (NFE) and ether extract (EE). Results obtained showed that DM ranged from 55.5%-80%, CF (23-68%), CP (7.88-19.25%), NFE (22.25-69.97%), EE (3.0-6.0%) and Ash (6.0-12.00%). The data obtained were used to determine the suitability of the browse plants species for ruminant animal production. Results revealed that nutrient contents in plant samples vary in composition.

Abstract

With the deepening of surface coal mine, the application of combined surface mining with underground mining is increased now. According to the influence analysis of underground mining on surface coal mine end-wall slope, the thin plate model of mined slope was proposed with distortion and stress distribution of the girder studied. Considering the practice of combined surface mining with underground mining, the modified method was put forward. Based on the roof breaking law of mined slope, the minimum width of protecting coal pillar was elicited. Subsequently this paper took the combined mining practice of Anjialing surface mine as example to study the subsidence law of roof and the influence of underground mining to surface mine slope. The research conclusion indicates that under the condition of combined mining the deformation and subsidence of overlying strata are obvious with a clear lag time, and the ceiling distortion evokes distortion of mined slope, which can be used as the theory sustainment to stabilization of mined slope under combined surface mining with underground mining.

Abstract

We are living in on-Demand Digital Universe with data spread by users and organizations at a very high rate. This data is categorized as Big Data because of its Variety, Velocity, Veracity and Volume. This data is again classified into unstructured, semi-structured and structured. Large datasets require special processing systems; it is a unique challenge for academicians and researchers. Map Reduce jobs use efficient data processing techniques which are applied in every phases of Map Reduce such as Mapping, Combining, Shuffling, Indexing, Grouping and Reducing. Big Data has essential characteristics as follows Variety, Volume and Velocity, Viscosity, Virality. Big Data is one of the current and future research frontiers. In many areas Big Data is changed such as public administration, scientific research, business, The Financial Services Industry, Automotive Industry, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Industrial Engineering, Retail, Entertainment, etc. Other Big Data applications are exist in atmospheric science, astronomy, medicine, biologic, biogeochemistry, genomics and interdisciplinary and complex researches.  This paper is presents the Essential Characteristics of Big Data Applications and State of-the-art tools and techniques to handle data-intensive applications and also building index for web pages available online and see how Map and Reduce functions can be executed by considering input as a set of documents.

Abstract

This study focuses on the behavior of blood flow through diseased artery in the presence of porous effects. The laminar, incompressible, fully developed, non-Newtonian in an artery having axially non-symmetric but radially symmetric stenosis is numerically studied. Here blood is represented as Herschel-Bulkley fluid model and flow model is shown by the Navier-Stokes and the continuity equations. Using appropriate boundary conditions, numerical expression for volumetric flow rate, pressure drop and wall shear stress have been derived. The expressions are computed numerically and results are presented graphically. The effects of porous parameter on wall shear stress, stenosis length, stenosis size and stenosis shape parameter are discussed. The wall shear stress increases as the porous parameter, stenosis size and stenosis length increases, but as the stenosis shape parameter increases, the wall shear stress decreases. The work shows that the results obtained from the porous wall model are significantly different from those obtained by the rigid wall model.

Abstract

In this 21st century one of the main issue to tackle was Cyber Security attack. We have numerous authentication processes like two key factor passwords, graphical passwords and many other. Text based passwords are prone to many attacks like dictionary attacks. In this paper, we have implemented a new authentication method namely; a family of graphical passwords built on Captcha technology. As graphical password addresses many security problems like online guessing attacks, relay attacks etc. Captcha is used to distinguish humans and bots. So, we use images with captcha’s as one of the authentication step along with normal alpha-numeric password. It also overcome the problems of pass points in graphical password systems.

Abstract

This paper describes and fixes the problem of multi-keyword rated look for over secured reasoning information (MRSE) while preserving strict system sensible comfort in the reasoning processing model. Information proprietors are roused to delegate their convoluted data administration frameworks from neighborhood destinations to the business open thinking for extraordinary flexibility and monetary advantages. Anyway, for safeguarding data solace, delicate data must be secured before outsourcing, which obsoletes traditional data use in light of plaintext essential word and key expression search for. To better bolster clients in their long haul data missions on the Web, Google stay informed concerning their worries and mouse snaps while seeking on the web. In this paper, we think about the issue of arranging a client's conventional concerns into gatherings in an intense and electronic style. In a flash deciding inquiry gatherings is useful for various distinctive online search for motor parts and projects, for example, question recommendations, result position, question alteration, sessionization, and community explore for. In our method, we depart past strategies to depend on literary resemblance or moment points of confinement, and we suggest a more compelling  technique that controls search for question logs.
