Jurnal "Tahuri" diambil dari nama salah satu media adat di Maluku yang menggunakan "bia terompet" (triton = nama latin) untuk memanggil atau menginformasikan sesuatu berita dari pemangku adat atau pemerintah desa kepada masyarakat dalam hubungannya dengan kegiatan desa (kegiatan-kegiatan penting yang diselenggarakan di desa). Penggunaan nama "Tahuri" pada jurnal ini adaiah untuk memaknai betapa pentingnya penggunaan "bia terompet" bagi perkembangan pembangunan di Maluku di masa lampau, yang saat ini telah hilang nilai dan manfaatnya karena kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi.

Abstract

This research aims are to investigate the level speaking competence of the eight grade students of SMPN-1 Kalasan and the techniques that the teachers apply to develop students speaking competence. The design of this research is a case study. To achieve the credibility of data for this research, a sequence of processes of data collection was conducted, namely speaking test, observation, field note, interview and documentation. The findings of this research consist of two parts. First, the students have developed the speaking ability. The student’s ability in English progressed from fair to good level,and then from good to excellent level, especially in pronunciation, fluency, and vocabulary. Eventhough the students have problems in grammar, they achieve progress in the three aspects, such as pronunciation, fluency and vocabulary. The progress of the students is mainly due to the second finding. Second, the six teaching techniques that the teachers apply are imitating, repeating, practicing, role playing, making dialogue and questions—answers process. These techniques have the benefit of improving student’s ability in English. Before using these teaching techniques, it is found that the students show the fair level. After applying these techniques, the student achieve the progress in three aspects. These techniques have proved to be beneficial to the students in improving their English speaking competence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan tipe penelitian kuasi eksperimen di mana perlakuan atau eksperimen hanya dilaksanakan pada satu kelompok tanpa kelompok pembanding dan dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk membuktikan ada atau tidak adanya pengaruh Penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation sebagai upaya meningkatkan Hasil belajar bahasa Jerman pada Siswa SMA PGRI-1 Ambon semester genap tahun akademik 2016/2017. Jumlah responden yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 32 orang, dengan instrumen penelitian berupa materi tes (Pre-test dan Post-test). Bentuk tes yang digunakan adalah tes tulisan objektif dengan masing-masing butir soal terdiri dari lima pilihan. Untuk uji Reliabilitas butir soal dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode belah dua (Split-Half Method) dengan skor ganjil dan skor genap, dengan rumus Spearman Brown. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji coba tes ini memiliki reliabilitas 0,949. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yakni variable bebas: Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation dan variabel terikat: hasil belajar bahasa Jerman. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa skor hasil belajar bahasa Jerman siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan Model pembelajaran Group Investigation lebih tinggi daripada skor Hasil Belajar Hasil belajar bahasa Jerman siswa yang diajar sebelum menggunakan Model pembelajaran Group Investigation. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan yang diperoleh, di mana nilai thitung = 32,025 dengan tingkat probality pada taraf signifikan α = 0,00 dan df = 31 diperoleh ttabel = 0,00. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung > probality (thitung = 32,025 > 0,00). Hasil ini sekaligus dapat membuktikan bahwa nilai yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan rata-rata yang diperoleh pada kedua kelas, yakni, nilai tertinggi kelas X1 sebesar 67,64, terendah sebesar 59,54, sedangkan kelas X2 nilai tertinggi sebesar 80,473 dan terendah sebesar 73,277. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) terbukti mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Jerman siswa SMA PGRI 1 Ambon

Abstract

Colloquial speech at young men in Galala always creates casual conversation, moreover in a young men society, Colloquial is used as a game to satirize or mock somebody and the words in the speech are created and defined by themselves. At Galala young men’s Colloquial, Ambon Malay language is always exist to revive the situation of the conversation. The purpose of this research is to describe Colloquial of Ambon Malay language at Galala young men, Sirimau district, with the first benefit to student that is to increase the knowledge of Colloquial conversation, and the second benefit to the further researcher as preliminary study about the theory and Colloquial phenomenon and also as a reference to the further researcher. This article is begun with the explanation of relevant theoretical basis such as: Colloquial; statement form, question, command in Colloquial of Ambon Malay language at Galala young men; the function of the usage of ColloquialAmbon Malay language of Galala young men; Ambon Malay language; sociolinguistics; Colloquial; the condition of socioinguistic in Indonesia and is ended with socioinguistics study.

Abstract

Diese Forschung verfolgt das Ziel, den Einfluss der Anwendung des “Quantum Teaching”Lernmodells auf Lernerergebnis in Deutsch an der SMA Negeri 1 Ambon herauszufinden. Diese Forschung hat zwei Variabeln, nämlich das “Quantum Teaching”Lernmodell als freie Variabel und das Lernergebnis der Deutschlernenden als gebundene Variabel. Die Daten der Forschung wurden durch zwei Prüfungen bekommen , die erste Prüfung war Pre-Test (vor der Anwendung des “Quantum Teaching” Lernmodells im Unterricht) , und dann wurden die Daten durch eine Analysetechnik “ T- Test Dependet” bearbeitet. Die Daten ergeben sich, dass tRech = 28,7 war . Wenn dieses Ergebnis auf freien Wert= 29 und auf es einen signifikants niveau α = 0,05 vergliechen wurde, wurde ttab = 2,01 bekommen. Das heist tRech = 28,7 > tTab = 2,01 ( tRech ist hoeher als tTab ) Dafür gibt es einen signifikanten Einfluss des “Quantum Teaching” Lernmodells auf Lernergebnis in Deutsch. Basierend auf dem Ergebnis kann es vorgeschlagen werden, dass man beim Unterricht das “ Quantum Teaching” Lernmodell einsetzen soll, um das Lernergebnis der Deutschlernenden erhöhen zu können.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to look for the differences and similarities among the way sexes use internet particularly social networking site, Facebook. The differences exist on multiple levels and all these have been exhibited through language and the choices they make. The findings show that women mostly write about themselves, about their own emotions, andthe way a female leaves all information blank and a male give all for public display certainly speaks volumes about their privacy concerns.
