Abstract

This study is about the parenting behaviour on improving the children’s physical fitness and its implication on Christian religion education and it was done at Universitas Kristen Indonesia. The purpose of doing this study is finding out the parenting behaviour on improving the children’s physical fitness and its implication on Christian religion education. The method of the study used was library research, where the researcher is the key instruments, in collecting the data of the research, books, journal, articles and other sources related to the topic of this study were read in order to answer the question of this study. These sources were taken ofline and online. The online sources were derived directly from google scholar web. The result of this study shows that the best parenting types of all is authoritative parenting, which is a combination of authoritarian parenting and permissive parenting. Then it is concluded that in order to improve the children’s physical fitness, parents should use authoritative parenting, and when the children’s physical fitness getting better, the implication on Christian religion education is getting better.

Abstract

This article describes “the factors of character building based on Proverbs 13:22 on inheritance and moral teachings.” The uniqueness of the book of Proverbs is that besides discussing the importance of the relationship between God and humans, it also shows the importance of Character Building. The analysis of this scientific work uses the research method of Wisdom Hermeneutics, which uses literal, context, structural and figurative analysis. The nature of a righteous person deserves to bequeath property to children / other people to obtain inheritance rights. Robert Williamson provides an interpretation of Proverbs 13:22 by emphasizing the habit of experience as the main factor in character building, while Mark Rathbone finds that the family/community factor is a habit /culture in the interpretation of Proverbs 13:22. But from the other side, this article shows that the Interpretation of Proverbs 13:22 discover 4 factors for character building regarding inheritance and moral teachings, namely: Personality Factors, Life Example, Communication and Financial Literacy. Where these factors are passed from one generation to another.

Abstract

God creates the differences and diversity. That is why it cannot be avoided. Even thought the differences and diversity are very useful to complement each other, on the other hand, it become the threats and challenges in building good relationships with others, especially in realizing God’s planning for conveying of the gospel. This research was developed using a qualitative approach that specifically refers to exegetical studies. Abstract

Strategi pelibatan anggota jemaat mewujudkan misi pertumbuhan gereja yang sehat. Perkembangan dan kemajuan teknologi dunia saat ini luar biasa pesatnya, sehingga gereja Tuhan di seluruh dunia dan secara khusus di Indonesia dituntut untuk terus menerus memperbaharui strategi pelayanannya supaya tetap relevan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi terhadap literatur atau sumber-sumber pustaka dengan analisis deskriptif secara tematis. Pokok kajian yang ditemukan pentingnya strategi pelibatan anggota jemaat dalam mewujudkan pertumbuhan gereja yang sehat. Diperlukan panggilan dan peran tanggung jawab gereja yang sehat dan menghadirkan keterlibatan dalam memenangkan jiwa melalui pemuridan dalam kelompok sel. Dengan melihat perkembangan teknologi yang begitu cepat berubah dan yang juga langsung berdampak atau berpengaruh terhadap kebudayaan manusia di era ini, maka gereja harus mampu mengantisipasi perubahan ini dengan terus mengembangkan serta memperbaharui strategi pelayanan pembinaan terhadap anggota jemaat, strategi penginjilan, metode-metode yang relevan, dan mampu memanfaatkan seluruh potensi sumber daya jemaat, sarana prasarana yang ada demi mewujudkan misi pertumbuhan gereja yang sehat terkait dengan pelayanan ke atas, pelayanan ke dalam maupun pelayanan ke luar. Untuk mewujudkan misi pertumbuhan gereja yang sehat, dibutuhkan kerja keras dan kemauan gereja yang sehat untuk mau melayani dan bertumbuh dalam iman sehingga menjadi dewasa dalam Tuhan. Apabila gereja terlibat secara sengaja dan melibatkan semua anggotanya dalam penginjilan, maka gereja akan bertumbuh secara sehat serta siap untuk melaksanakan misi shalom dari Allah, kapan, dimana, dalam kondisi apapun tetap teguh.

Abstract

This research deals with the effort on how far is the influence of Omnibus Law toward state or federal income in line with taxation and non-taxation. The focus of the research are four folds, namely, First, How does the constitution regulate tax within the context of formal law? ; Second, How does the new regulation set in the Omnibus Law influence the economic and social condition and also the obedience to law within the context of tax law?; Third, How does the Omnibus Law specifically effect the country’s tax based and non tax based revenue? ; Fourth, How can a Christian express their attitude from a Biblical standpoint in relation to the government and taxation specifically tax as the main source of revenue for the country?In providing answers to the questions above, the main topics to be discussed in this research includes 1)The Tax Laws Theory and the Concept of State Revenue, and 2)Implementation of Omnibus Law in relation to the State Tax and Non-tax based Revenue from Biblical View

Abstract

Terang di Tengah Kegelapan: Sebuah Analisis Sastra Rut 1. Rut 1 adalah episode yang penting dalam keseluruhan bangunan kisah Rut. Pasal ini memperkenalkan latar cerita dan permasalahannya, meningkatkan ketegangan cerita, serta menggerakkan cerita menuju resolusinya. Oleh sebab itu penting sekali untuk mempelajari pasal ini secara utuh dengan mempertimbangkan kesatuan dari unit-unit sastra yang membangun narasinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis sastra narasi atau sering disebut kritik narasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa komitmen setia Rut kepada bangsa Israel, Allah Israel, dan Naomi menerangi kisah dalam pasal 1 yang dipenuhi dengan kegelapan.

Abstract

The topic surrounding the visionary and missionary nature of the church is an ongoing discussion, which in turn could help churches in general to articulate the importance, responsibility, and role of the church. The entire dimension of being a Church have to be understood in order to give meaning for its presence on earth. When Jesus Christ said, “they (the Church) are being in the world, …..they (the Church) are being for the world (John 17:11b; 16b), He was referring to the complete substance of the Church. This reality underlies the fact that “the church have a heavenly body, but the church is also in the world therefore it has to be down to earth. Having a comprehensive understanding of this matter is important, to where this will enable the church to position itself accordingly in its respective context. With this knowledge and perspective, the Church can prove that it has “a visionary and missionary nature” to mark its presence as an instrument of God’s grace for the world with the right attitude and self positioning within the appropriate context with today’s condition.
