Abstract

Education is surely an important tool in creating qualified human resources. It could be formed when applying education as the key to the development of science and technology. In the Standards of Content published by the The National Agency for Educational Standards (BSNP), English language subject in elementary schools is directed at developing four skills, namely, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills as a means of communicating and discourse in English at a certain literacy level. English language education in primary school, according to the Standards of Content, of The National Agency for Educational Standards (BSNP) has the intention to develop language skills used in accompanying the action. Building a vocabulary, in this case, is the main thing in learning a foreign language at an elementary school level. Vocabulary not only builds reading skills but also other skills. At a certain level, when students can develop their vocabulary mastery, they will automatically improve themselves on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Utilization of Ludo Word Game media in order to optimize the mastery of English vocabulary in elementary school students is actually a Ludo game which has been modified in such a way, which has a purpose to improve the mastery of English vocabulary. In addition, students' creativity in learning can also be developed automatically by collaborating the pictures card media on this learning media.

Abstract

As a formal educational institution, schools are responsible for the character education of children. Children are the generation that will become the successor of the nation. For that children need to be prepared as early as possible education that builds the character of children such as slipping a traditional game in subjects, especially subjects of Cultural Arts and Workshops. In the traditional game tucked many messages that should be conveyed by teachers to foster children's character, so that children have provisions to face real life in the community.Basically the world of children is a world of play. Playing is a very important and fun activity in children's learning process. Through child play will be encouraged to experiment and grow well in life. Traditional games have so many different forms and variations. Traditional games tend to utilize the tools or facilities in our environment without having to buy it so it needs a high imagination and creativity. The traditional dominant game involves a relatively large number of players, so it is not surprising to see almost all the popular games of so many of its members. Besides giving priority to the common pleasure factor, this game also has more intention to deepening interaction ability among players.Besides traditional games are also loaded with noble values and certain moral messages such as values of togetherness, honesty, responsibility, attitude field of chest (if lost), encouragement of achievement, and obedience to the rules. All that is obtained if the player really enjoy, enjoy, and understand the essence of the game.

Abstract

The activities of the teacher which are hard work, smart work, compassion, and discipline should be a guide in character education in schools. This is very important, especially to achieve optimal results so that students as the young generation has high-quality as expected which is the hope of the Indonesian government. This is done with the aim of preventing people's concerns for the loss of identity/character of the learners.With a high character, it will bring learners to have moral rooted in the philosophy, experience, and have the value of cultural religions of Indonesia. Thus, Character Education must be sustainable and never-ending as an integral part to prepare the nation's tailored aligned with a human figure with a good future.Character education must cultivate philosophy and practice of the whole character of this nation, whole, and comprehensive (kaffah). The character of the nation contains cultural adhesives and cultural which must be realized in cultural awareness and cultural intelligence (cultural intelligence) of every citizen.

Abstract

Anticorruption education as a preventive effort to generate future generations of anticorruption. This research uses research and development methods with the aim of describing the stages of anticorruption education actualization activities with the Box of Findings, the values revealed in the actualization and the students' responses to the actualization of anticorruption education in schools. Data were collected by participant observation techniques, in-depth interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The sample of data source is 47 students of SD Negeri 14 Pemecutan determined by purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that: 1) preliminary study stage, 2) development study stage, 3) evaluation / reflection stage; 2) There are 3 values of anticorruption shown through student behavior that is value of honesty, caring value, and value of discipline; 3) Positive category is shown by the students towards the implementation of actualization activities of anticorruption education. Based on these findings it is suggested that anticorruption education is not enough through socialization alone, but must be realized with real behaviors.

Abstract

Religious psychology contributes a lot in solving the problems of human life in relation to the religion it embraces. In this case there is growth and development in a person so that religious feelings that can affect the peacefulness of him or his heart. Thus the deepest essence of religion that we should cultivate early on so that in the development of children will cultivate a sense (emotion) is a force in the human psyche that plays a role in forming motivation in behavior patterns. Because of that, that feeling can lead to a balanced and positive attitude in living the truth of religious teachings, especially Hinduism.This article describes an analysis of solutions to moral degradation by promoting the development of the religious psyche of the child. The development of the religious soul in the child is a very important thing to cultivate the soul of religion and also know the main essence in religion. Thus the most important is how to develop and improve the religious soul in the face of problems in deviations of child behavior today, which tend to experience or occur a moral degradation.

Abstract

Teaching skills is an absolute requirement that must be owned by professional teachers. It is considered important because its role in education shows very high significance. The impact on student learning outcomes as well as psychomotor and affective abilities is one of the real examples of the direct role of teaching skills. The teaching skills in question are not limited to the academic ability of the mastery of the material delivered, but rather the skills and strategies used by teachers to achieve the learning objectives without forcing the learning itself on the students. In this context, reinforcement is an important aspect of the basic teaching skill. Therefore, this article is structured to look at the role of teachers 'teaching skills especially those that have an impact on students' psychological conditions of reinforcement in schools.

Abstract

Character education is a foundation of a nation that needs to be invested early on to children. Children grow and flourish in a life that is colored by violation of the rights of others to violence, coercion, ignorance, confusion between right and wrong, good and bad, behavior may and may not be done. The inculcation of character education values should start early in the home, community, and school. Character education is expected to make students skilled, knowledgeable, and morals. Students are expected not only to have intellectual ability, more than tuition is also expected to have good character. Good intellectual ability must be balanced with good character education as well. The tale will provide a place for children to learn various emotions and feelings as well as learn the values of the characters.

Abstract

Implementation of Tri Hita Karana teachings as an attempt to build students' character can be implemented through curricular activities, ie learning activities outside the classroom that are directly related to the subject matter and the form of extra-curricular or extra-curricular activities, the school activities that are mandatory or options. Such as scouting activities, the Youth Red Cross, and other nature lovers, need to develop a process of habituation and reinforcement values the concept of Tri Hita Karana doctrine in order to build character. Family environment and society strived for a process of strengthening of parents and community leaders on the behavior of the character began to be developed in school daily activities in the home and community environment respectively.

Abstract

Honesty is a very significant thing to grow in elementary school age children. It is because at this age the child should be given moral lessons. For that lesson of Hindu religion as one to grow the honest character must be able to realize it. One lesson that can be used as media to foster the honest character is on the subject matter of Panca Sradha. However, during this lesson the Hindu religion related to the material of Panca Sradha still in a discourse level. As is known, the discussion on the material of Panca Sradha emphasizes on the belief aspects of learners to God, Atma, Karma Phala, Punarbhawa and Moksa. The five basic beliefs in the teachings of Hinduism are indeed difficult to explain with the media especially in the students who are still in elementary school level. For this reason, this paper will provide a solution that can be used as a handle of Hindu teachers in elementary schools in elaborating the subject matter of Panca Sradha to foster an honest character in elementary school students.
