Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with a type of phenomenology. This study aims to describe the use of the Kemendikbud Learning House Portal in the learning process in elementary schools. The sampling technique used in the study is purposive sampling with the subject of research being the teacher who has used the Kemendikbud Learning House Portal in the learning process in the classroom. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, structured interviews and document studies. The data obtained are qualitative data which contains a description of the results of learning observations and teacher interviews regarding the use of the portal Home Learning, learning activities and steps taken by teachers in utilizing the Kemendikbud Learning House portal as a model of online learning in elementary schools. The study was carried out at Public Elementary School 112/I, Perumnas and Public Elementary School 13/I, Muara Bulian. The results showed that the learning steps taken by the teacher in utilizing the Kemendikbud Learning House portal were started from the preparation and implementation of learning which included the opening, core and closing learning activities. Some features that have been used by teachers in learning are Learning Resources, Electronic School Books (BSE), and Question Banks. While the methods used by teachers in utilizing the home learning portal as an online learning model during the learning process can be grouped in (1) Classical / Demonstration Presentations, (2) Small Group Discussions and (3) Individual Learning.

Abstract

Learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be are the four pillars of education. The four pillars of education become a reference in the development of the National Education System in Indonesia to form human characters so that they can compete and be ready to face global challenges. Character education in the education unit has been identified 18 values originating from religion, Pancasila, culture, and national education goals, namely: 1) Religious; 2) Honestly; 3) Tolerance; 4) Discipline; 5) Hard Work; 6) Creative, 7) Independent; 8) Democratic; 9) Curiosity; 10) Nationalism; 11) Love the Motherland; 12) Appreciate Achievement; 13) Friendly / communicative; 14) Peace in love; 15) Love reading; 16) Care for the environment; 17) Social care; 18) Responsibility. These character values must be instilled early on, bearing in mind their current character formation will determine their character in the future. At the grade 1 elementary school level, using the 2013 Curriculum through Hinduism subject matter is expected to form religious skills and manifest spiritual attitudes and social attitudes of learners that are balanced, encompassing human relations with their Creator, fellow humans, and human relations with the natural surroundings. Learning and teaching with the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) approach invite students to make connections that express meaning.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal juga mengacu pada berbagai kekayaan budaya yang tumbuh dan berkembang dalam sebuah masyarakat yang dikenal, dipercayai, dan diakui sebagai elemen-elemen penting yang mampu mempertebal kohesi sosial di tengah masyarakat. Salah satu kearifan lokal yang bisa ditemui khususnya di Bali adalah ungkap mitos masyarakat Bali. Ungkapan mitos ini pada umumnya diberikan pada anak-anak. Di Bali ungkapan mitos digunakan pada orang tua untuk menakut-nakuti anak-anak mereka. Tujuannya bukan agar anak-anak ketakutan tetapi lebih dari penanaman etika. Cara ini biasanya digunakan kepada anak yang bandel tidak bisa diberitahu oleh orang tuanya. Larangan itu dimaksudkan agar anak-anaknya memiliki etika. Dengan kata lain, fungsi dari larangan ini adalah sebagai bentuk pengajaran etika oleh orang tua kepada anak-anaknya. Kemajuan teknologi mengakibatan data dan informasi saat ini sangat mudah sekali untuk didapatkan. Perubahan kebudayaan menunjukkan adanya suatu periode transisional pola - pola ekonomi, sosial, dan kultural yang terus berubah dan membentuk kontur masa depan. Sesuai perkembangan jaman ungkapan mitos tidak semua relevan digunakan pada jaman sekarang. Dikarenakan demikian maka ada beberapa ungkapan mitos tersebut akan hilang sesuai dengan perkembangan jaman, karena sudah tidak digunakan lagi.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of improving the learning outcomes of Beginning Reading through the Application of Synthetic Analytical Structure Method assisted by colored letter card media in Class I Students of SD Negeri 8 Ababi Semester II, Academic Year 2017/2018. The subjects of this study were 7 students in Class I Semester II SD Negeri 8 Ababi. For the purposes of data collection the performance test method is used. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. Based on the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the application of the SAS method assisted by colored letter media can improve student learning outcomes in reading the beginning of grade I students of SD Negeri 8 Ababi in the second semester of the academic year 2017/2018. The success was shown by student learning outcomes in reading increased from pre cycle of 55.36 increased in cycle I to 64.29 and increased in cycle II with the acquisition of 75.36. The success of this study deserves to be recommended as a reference material for similar research in the future

Abstract

Maturity of a child will develop well if it is in the right environment, both family, school, and community environment in general. Besides the individual factors, social factors also play a role in the process of growth. The party in the child's social circle is obliged to help direct the child to be a good person by doing small things but penetrating into the child's own heart. One of them is by storytelling which in Balinese is called nyatua. Through a qualitative descriptive method, this paper describes the psychosocial study of the figure I Durma. Satua I Durma is one of the literature that reflects the success of a child's life to grow into a youth figure who has a personality, despite living with imperfect family conditions.

Abstract

The aim of this article to suggest a fun method of learning addition and subtraction in elementary school children. Based on the National Education Law and the 1945 Constitution, every citizen has the right to get quality education. In Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, the education pathway consists of formal, non-formal and informal education that can complement and enrich each other. One of formal education is Elementary School. Basic abilities that Elementary School?s  Students must have such as reading, writing and arithmetic. Counting is the main key in arithmetic. Without having a good counting basic concept, it will be difficult to learn the next mathematics lessons. One method of arithmetic that is easy to learn and practical is "Jarimatika". It uses the fingers and finger knuckles for the operation of multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. Addition and substraction are the basis of learning multiplication and division. The advantages of using the Jarimatika counting method includes: 1. Using visualization of the counting process so that is easy to understand. 2. The movements of the fingers are interesting so learning becomes more fun. 3. It?s very simple, so it is not burdening the memory of the brain. 4. The equipment that used is always available and does not need to be bought

Abstract

Learning in the 21st century leads to the development of information and communication technology that allows students to interact and collaborate. Conventional learning is no longer fully a mainstay, but in the midst of technological advancements today, variations in methods are needed which provide more opportunities for learning by utilizing various innovative sources. Innovative learning is learning that is packaged by students for the encouragement of new ideas which are the products of learning how to learn to take steps to learning, so as to obtain learning progress. One learning model that leads to the development of information, communication and innovative technology is flipped classroom. Flipped classroom is a learning model combined with technology with the aim that learning becomes active and efficient which will form interactions between students and students and between students and teachers to be actively involved in problem solving. The flipped classroom learning model is the solution to digital diera learning problems now considering (1) this learning model offers many alternative learning resources for students beyond the material already provided by the teacher through the use of information technology and can be used to support the lack of traditional learning, (2) Internet networks have become a problem that can be easily accessed by remote schools. (3) Many students already operate a computer or laptop device to support learning activities.

Abstract

Character education is an education system that aims to instill certain character values to students in which there is a component of knowledge, awareness, or will, and actions to carry out these values. Character education is very closely related to moral education in which the aim is to shape and practice the ability of individuals continuously in order to perfect themselves towards a better life. Developing the nation's character should begin at an early age. Early childhood is the most rapid development in various aspects including religious, moral, social, intellectual, and emotional aspects. Many things can be used as an intermediary in the delivery of aspects of character education especially for children. One of them is through traditional Balinese song. Traditional Balinese song is as one of the communication media in the delivery of character education because in the traditional music itself there are song lyrics that are full of meaning and moral value. One of the famous traditional songs in Bali is Dadong Dauh which is one of the poems of the Mijil poem. In the lyrics of the song Dadong Dauh there are moral values and education, namely the value of honesty.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the differences in critical thinking skills and religiosity in fifth grade elementary school students between students who follow the tri rich parisudha learning method in science learning with local wisdom and students who take conventional learning. The experimental design used in this study was a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design with a 2 x 2 factorial design. Hypothesis testing was performed using multivariance analysis techniques (MANOVA) using N gain values. From the results of the study it can be concluded as follows: (1) There are differences in the ability to think critically and religiosity in fifth grade students of elementary schools between students who follow the tri rich parisudha learning method and students who take conventional learning in learning science with local wisdom. This is proven based on statistical results with the help of SPSS 17 for windows, the F results for Wilks lambda have a significance of less than 0.05. (2) There is a difference in the ability to think critically in grade V students of primary schools between students who take the tri rich parisudha learning method with students who take conventional learning in science learning with local wisdom with a statistical value of 4.666 with a significance level of <0.05. (3) There is a difference in religiosity in grade V students of primary schools between students who take the tri rich parisudha learning method and students who take conventional learning in science learning with local wisdom with a statistical value of F = 4.214 with a significance level of <0.05.

Abstract

This research was conducted in SD Negeri 2 Seraya Barat in the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning outcomes of Grade IV students of SD Negeri 2 Seraya Barat by applying a problem based learning model. Problem-based learning model is a learning model that presents problems to students to be resolved where in solving these problems students are required to think critically which ultimately students gain knowledge independently. This study shows that learning outcomes in the first cycle with a classical completeness of 80% increased in the second cycle with a classical completeness of 93.33% and have achieved indicators of success. The conclusion obtained from this study is the problem based learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Seraya Barat.
