Abstract

More and more types of raw materials will be used to expedite the shoe production process, making it difficult for companies to determine the priority of raw materials. So that there are often advantages and disadvantages of raw materials during the production process, which causes changes in the budget of production costs that are not in accordance with the initial plan, resulting in decreased corporate profits. Decision Support System (SPK) is a system that can help someone in making decisions that are accurate and right on target. Many problems can be solved by using SPK, one of which is determining priorities in the supply of raw materials. There are several methods that can be used in building a DSS, including simple addtive weighting (SAW). The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is often also known as the weighted sum method, by finding the weighted sum of performance ratings for each alternative of all attributes. This study discusses the making of a decision support system as a tool for determining priorities in the supply of raw materials using the simple additive weighting (SAW) method. This application was developed with the Power Builder 8.0 programming language and Sybase SQL Anyware 5.0 as its database. The results of this study are able to help system users determine the priority of the supply of raw materials in order to facilitate the production process.

Abstract

Based on demand data from January 2013 to December 2013 at PT. Bukit Surya Mas there is an increase in demand, supply and amount of consumer production every month. With the occurrence of demand, supply and maximum production results PT. Bukit Surya Mas always tries to ensure that the amount of production ordered can be completed on time. This is done as a way to give satisfaction to customers, so that there will be no shortage of production services to consumers just because of the late delivery of the product. Problems that arise in this world often contain uncertainty, fuzzy logic is one method for analyzing systems that contain uncertainty. In this study the Mamdani method or often also known as the Min - Max method. The design of the system to get the output is done in stages (a) the formation of the fuzzy set, (b) the application of the implication function, (c) forming the rules, (d) affirmation (defuzzification). In this study defuzzification was carried out using the centroid method. In this method the defuzzyfication value moves smoothly, so changes in the fuzzy set will also move smoothly. From the results of the research that has been carried out, the following is the Masterbatch product from the input variable in January 2014, namely the total demand of 150,735.00 kg and the total inventory of 24,785 kg resulting in an output of 20,300 units.

Abstract

The production process that exists at PT. Parkland World Indonesia consists of several parts of the production process, one of which is the production process ofondonding which is used for shoe glue between outsole and upper. Adhesive is a material that is able to connect or unite the two surfaces of separate objects so that it has adequate strength when subjected to the load. This study discusses the making of an adhesive calculation system as a determination of the need for the first time to be ordered, using the weighted product method and lot sizing. The application was developed using the Power Builder programming language with Sybase SQL anyware as its database. With this system will help managers or superiors to know and determine alternative priorities or types of adhesive needs that must be prioritized for adhesive needs to help smooth the production process. To minimize the total cost of adhesive requirements.

Abstract

The process of development in some areas occur quickly, but several areas experienced a very slow process. In this case, the local government has some problems in the process of implementing of local development, whether in policy making or proposing a strategy for local development, as well as improving the environment in order to support the development of their region's economy. Banten Province is a province located at the west of Java. The administrative conditions which is directly bordered with Jakarta as a capital city and West Java province makes Banten province become the most strategic regions. Based on economic growth data of Banten Province in 2010 - 2015, it can be seen that economic growth of Banten Province is increasing positively in five years. Although the growth of economic development in Banten province tend to be positive, it can be seen significantly that there is still a level of development that has an index of inequality  in some districts or cites in Banten. In the process of identification the inequality level among the districts in Banten province, the government usually analyze the case by using manual calculations to determine the policy that should be taken in addressing the inequality that occur in those districts. This process takes quite a long time to take the policy in structuring regional areas. In determining the area of inequality, the government requires Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data and the data of the population which can be calculated by using several inequality area methods. The method that often used is the Shift Share, Index Gain, Williamson Index and Klassen Typology. In some cases, Williamson index is often used in calculating the inequality between regions or territories. Several studies that had used Williamason index in identifying inequality development usually used the data analysis without particular tools such as software. It complicates the process of inequality analysis if the amount of the data is quite big. Therefore, this study aims to develop the software as a supporting tool for the identification of inequality development using Williamson index. The application is based-website to make it easier for the identification process.

Abstract

The Group Decision Support System is a tool used to help group decision makers become faster and more objective. A case study at Serang Raya University is the selection of employees for promotion. The problem is the difficulty in determining which employees will be promoted to fill a certain position and spend a lot of time and how to do the calculation? The research methodology used is system analysis, and calculation of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The criteria chosen are based on staffing policies. The decision makers involved were the dean of the faculty, the head of the staffing department and the university's rector. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) can determine the weight value for each attribute, then proceed with the ranking process that will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. The results are used to make it easier for users to choose the employees to choose for promotion. This system is expected to help speed up employee decision making to be promoted.
