Abstract

Abstract. The goal of this research is improve skill to solve math story problems using Pair Checks learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects research were students of class III at SDN Mangkuyudan No. 02 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic years. Data collection techniques uses observations, interviews, tests, and documentations. Data validity techniques use triangulation, namely triangulation of source data and triangulation of techniques. Data analysis techniques uses interactive descriptive analysis. Results of research on pre-action shows conditions of skill to solve math story problems 0% classically. The first cycle increases to 56% in classical and in the 2nd cycle, increases to 94% in classical. Based on the result of research Pair Checks learning model can be improve skill to solve math story problems students of class III  at SDN Mangkyudan No. 02 in the 2019/2020 academic year. This research can be used as a reference for similar research.Keywords: skill to solve math story problems, Pair Checks learning model, primary education

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is improving the character value of educational discipline class of the 5th  by applying the Value Clarification Technique model. The subject in this research were class of the 5th students at SDN Totosari No. 102 Surakarta in the 2019/2020. The variable in this research includes a variable learning act by applying the Value Clarification Technique model. Data collection using assessment tools consisting of observation sheets, insterviews, and documentation. The technique of data analysis on research uses data triangulasi technique and descriptions. Based on data processing result, the result is 86,67% that shows that the application of the Value Clarification Technique model is successful to enhance the character value of student discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve reading comprehension skills through scramble learning models for grade IV students of primary schools. in this study the subjects studied were grade IV students of SD Negeri Mangkubumen Kulon No. 83 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 school year with a total of 16 students. In this research, researchers used several techniques in data collection, namely the activity of tests, interviews and observation. Data analysis of content validity and data triangulation. The analysis data techniques used are interactive analysis model of Miles-Huberman techniques. From the research on the application of the scramble learning model during the two cycle research, the following results were obtained, in the first cycle the classical completeness was 37.50%, then in the second cycle it was 100%. based on these results it can be concluded that the students' reading comprehension skills have increased from the pre-action stage,  first cycle and second cycle. As for the contribution  this study, teachers can use the scramble learning model in reading comprehension learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the understanding of the concepts of the Pancasila precepts by using the talking stick learning model. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings with four stages there are planning,action,observation,reflecting. Data collection techniques are tests, interview, observations, and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation of methods and data sources. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis techniques. The results of the study prove that the use of the talking stick model can increase the understanding of the concepts of the Pancasila precepts.

Abstract

This research aims to improve nonfiction text writing skills by implementing a Circuit Learning Model. The Type of this research is Classroom Action Research with 2 cycles. The subject of this research were 24 fifth grade students of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta Primary School during 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection in this research uses interviews, tests, observations, and documentation with triangulation and data analysis of content. Qualitative data analysis used Miles- Huberman interactive analysis model. While, quantitative data analysis are the result of nonfiction text writing skills. The pre-action cycle resulting in percentage of 4,2% in classically, continued with the first cycle with the  percentage of 33,3% in classical and in the last cycle resulting in percentage of 95,5% classically. Based on the result obtained, it can be concluded that nonfiction text writing skills of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta Primary School in the 2019/ 2020 academic year can be upgraded through the implementation of the Circuit Learning Model.

Abstract

This study uses classroom action research aimed at improving communication skill by applying the talking chips type cooperative learning model in social studies. The subjects of the research were students of class V of SD Negeri Mangkuyudan No. 02 school year 2019/2020, totalling 30 students. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data using the Miles and Huberman models. The results showed in the first cycle the persentage of students reached 54.5%. students. The results increased in cycle II to 73.5% students. From the research data, it shows that communication skill for students in grade V of Mangkuyudan Elementary School No. 02 increased. The improvement of communication skills after the application of the talking chips type cooperative learning model in social studies.Contribution of this research as knowledge in future research. Talking chips are expected to create fun learning for students.

Abstract

Improving the ability to analyze the FPB and KPK by applying Means Ends Analysis model is the purpose of this research. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. Students of the 4th students at SD Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta in the 2019/2020, totalling 24 students is the subject. Data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation, test, and document analysis. Data analysis are source and technique triangulation, and content validity. Analysis of the data used is the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The initial conditions of analysis ability of 4 th students showed 37,5%. The cycle I at the first meeting resulting in a percentage of 75%, the second meeting is 66.67%. The cycle II at the first meeting producing a percentage of 87.5%, the second meeting is 91.67%. Based on the result of the research, it can be conclude that the ability to analyze FPB dan KPK on 4 th students of SD Ta’mirul Islam in the 2019/2020 can be improved through the Means Ends Analysis model. This research contributed to be used as a reference and be a development in varied learning activities in mathematics subject.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the understanding of the rights and obligations of community members by applying the Talking Stick cooperative learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The subjects of this study were fourth grade student of Mangkuyudan elementary school number 02 Surakarta with total of 28 students. This study uses data collection technique in the form of observations, documentation, field notes, tests, and. And interviews uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The first cycle of the second meeting produced a percentage of 52,17% classically, and the study continued with the second cycle of the second meeting with percentage of 83,33% classically. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the ability to improve the understanding of the concept of rights and obligatons of community members in grade 4 students of Mangkuyudan elementary school number 02 Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020 can be improved through the cooperative learning model of the Talking Stick type.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to boost social skills by implement the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. This research is a Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of this study were grade 4th students in SD Negeri 2 Karangasem Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020, amounting to 31 students. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation with data analysis of content validity and triangulation. Analysis of the data used is the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The first cycle produces a percentage of 61.29% classically, and the study continues with the second cycle with a percentage of 80,64% classically. Based on the results obtained , it can be concluded that social skills in students of SD Negeri 2 Karangasem Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year could be upgraded with Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model.

Abstract

This research aimed to explain narrative writing skills by applying a Complete Sentence learning model. A Classroom Action Research is used as the form of this research, conducted for two cycles. The stages of the cycle are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were students of the A fourth-grade at Dukuhan Kerten No. 58 Public Elementary School in the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 27 students. These data collection techniques in the research are interviews, observation, tests, and documentation. The data validities is content validity and triangulation. The analysis of the data are statistic descriptive and interactive analysis. The result of the research showed that using a Complete Sentence learning model can improve narrative writing skills. The first cycle resulting in a percentage of 44.44 in classical. The second cycle with a percentage of 77.78 in classical terms. The conclusion of this research is the narrative writing skills of A fourth-grade students of Public Elementary School Dukuhan Kerten No. 58 academic year 2019/2020 increases through the application of Complete Sentence learning models.
