Abstract

Issues regarding women are still widely discussed by the general public, so there are several individuals who take advantage of these issues to gain personal gain. Women who are victims of sexual harassment have been judged badly by society because their disgrace has spread widely and has always become a hot trending topic in magazines, newspapers, television and social media. Therefore, researchers really want to examine the thoughts of an Indonesian academic, namely Nadirsyah Hosen, regarding women's morals as stated in the QS. An-Nur: 31 in ”Tafsir Al-Quran di Medsos: Mengkaji Makna dan Rahasia Ayat Suci pada Era Media Sosial”. This article uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis, literature review and a thematic approach. The primary data in this article comes from the Al-Qur'an and the book “Tafsir Al-Quran di Medsos: Mengkaji Makna dan Rahasia Ayat Suci pada Era Media Sosial”, for secondary data using several books and journals that are appropriate to the discussion. This article explains how women’s morals are in this modern era, with the aim that women, especially teenagers, can return (again) to the correct religious sharia. Researchers concluded that it is mandatory for women to wear a large khimar (cover) that covers their chest and forbids women from offering tabarruj to men who are not their mahram.

Abstract

This research attempts to provide readers with a contextual understanding of jurisprudence (fiqh) to encourage flexible and dynamic thinking. This study uses library research as its research methodology. The results indicated that Islam has theological significance to the content of older works, including the Torah, the Injīl, and Zabur. The backdrop context of the birth of Islam is influenced significantly by the Arab Jahiliyah period. It is of great importance to Jewish and Christian theology. Despite the presence of Arab Jahiliyah, the teachings of Islam align with the traditions and culture of Arab Jahiliyah. Jurisprudence is intricately linked to the historical and socio-political context in which it was developed. The recontextualization of jurisprudence in today's period is necessary to ensure the sustainability of Islamic teachings. This research's conclusions distinguish it from others by focusing on issues connected to fundamental and historical assumptions about Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Islam as ad-din and civilization are big themes in this era. This can be seen in the emergence of works that attempt to explain this, written by Indonesian scholars such as Nurcholish Madjid, Syeid Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, Kuntowijoyo, M. Amin Abdullah, and others. This article attempts to revive Islamic studies in the discipline of 'ulum al-hadith regarding the criteria for the validity of hadith sanads and research steps. The results of this writing show that sanad is an arrangement in the form of levels of narrators of a hadith. Broadly speaking, the criteria for rijalu sanad are fair and careful. Research also found that the steps for researching hadith sanads can be formulated into several steps, including takhrij hadith, i'tibar hadith, research using the sanad scheme, researching ar-Ruwat dates and researching al-jarhu wa at-ta'dil.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out the progress and decline experienced by the three major empires during the Islamic civilization, namely the Mughal Empire, the Safavid Empire and the Ottoman Empire. The analysis was carried out to describe the various advances experienced by the three kingdoms along with the factors that led to their decline. The research method used is Library Research. The results of the study show that the progress of Islamic civilization during the Mughal Empire was one of them influenced by Sulakhul politics which gave a new breath to Indian society at that time. Meanwhile, one of the factors that caused the collapse of the Mughal empire was an attack from the British army. The progress of the Safavid kingdom tended to be in the field of science, ranging from religious knowledge to general knowledge. Among the reasons for its decline were the endless attacks from the Ottoman Turks and the Afghans. The Ottoman Empire was one of the largest occupations that made a significant contribution to Islamic civilization. One of them is the conquest of Constantinople as promised by the Prophet. The decline of the Turkish empire was caused by several factors both internal and external, ranging from incompetent successors to western attacks.

Islamic law recognizes human dignity, integrates individual rights, and encourages the protection of the vulnerable.
