Abstract

Teachers are required to have knowledge and skills enabling them to effectively make a conducive learning environment, design learning procedures, develop good relationships with students and increase attention to the academic activities they manage to motivate students to learn, so that learning objectives are achieved. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence between classroom management and student learning motivation. This research method is a quantitative method. In collecting the data, the researcherused questionnaires, then the data analyzed by simple linear regression. The results showed that there is a significant influence between classroom management and student motivation, the results of t countedis greater than t table with 98 degrees of freedom and significance level of 5%, is (19.156>1.66055). The influenceof classroom management toward students’ motivation is 78.9%.

Abstract

The leader quality in an organization determines whether or the organization reach the goal expected. There are two basic capacities as main points should be owned for a leader and as ideal requirement for the leader in the institution, they are managerial skill dan technical skill. Whether the leader will be succeed or not in conducting their leadership, however, determined not only on their technical skill, but more on their managerial skill, in this case their skill in making people to work. Madrasa is one of educational institution which has an importance existence in improving the nation’s intelligence, makes effort to improve the quality education out put which has been complained community by fostering and developing the Islamic educational institution. The form of fostering and developing is private empowerment. The private madrasa is the growth of educational institution root in the environment of Ministry of religion, and it is the largest part of the madrasa in Indonesia.

Abstract

Life skill educationis a formofal Urwatul Wutsqo boarding school anticipation in facing community problems. This boarding school has done many changes in educational process. The change is not only on Islamic education, but in educational life skill. The planning is started from determination of life skill, person in charge of the unit, grouping determination, life skill of preparation of activity report books. The purpose of life skill is fostering pupil to have independence, equiping pupil to have skill which useful for their future life. The method used is discussion, giving tasks, demonstration, giving good advice, giving story about succsessful and independence people. The independence must be achieved is emotional independence in fulfilling basic need, having independence attitude, capable in making decision. Evaluation verbally or directly, regular reports by the leader (Abah) either by phone or sending message, sending activity life skill books, direct observation of pupil, and life skill activities.

Abstract

The phenomenon of moral decline and the humanitarian crisis is now rampant and is happening everywhere. The act is not only done by teenagers, but by some parents and even leaders. This can be seen by the proliferation of corruption, the association of free sex, drugs, the spread of news about sheepfighting and hatred and hoax news that are very disturbing to the public. Even radical movements in the name of religion and ethnicity began to flourish. The purpose of this study is to unravel the theme of the urgency of the spirit of the leadership of jihad embedded in the success of education because education leaders now face very heavy challenges in the success of education. The research method used in the research is the type of library research. Based on the results of the conceptual study the urgency of the spirit of the jihad of a leader towards the success of education is found that a leader in his heart implanted the spirit of jihad for the success of education, then a leader will devote all his abilities seriously in doing something in good totality concerning life, emotions, energy, mind and knowledge and time and place for the success of education. This shows that the ideal education leader is a leader who has leadership talents who are strong, responsible and have a spirit of great jihad in carrying out his leadership duties, and still maintain noble character in his own personality.

Abstract

Kafa'ah (balance / equality) in choosing a mate aims to realize the goals of the family are sakinah, mawaddah and rahmah and blessed with children who are salih and salihah. The only reason hat is considered is religion, because parents are educators who will later be responsible for implementing family education towards the realization of the marriage goal. This research examines the concept of marriage kafa'ah and its relevance to the concept of Islamic education. This study uses a type of literature with an analytical descriptive approach that will be analyzed with content analysis. This study resulted in a conclusion that Kafa'ah religion (aqeedah,worship, morality) was the only kufu that became a consideration to realize the purpose of marriage. The relevance of kafa'ah in Islamic education is very important, because parents are the primary educators who should have strong Islamic religious competencies, the material comes from Allah, with the correct method and is supported by an Islamic environment, the educational goals will be easily realized, so that born children who are salih and salihah.

Abstract

The future challenge in education is creating individuals who are able to learn for life. The challenge of shifting values ??in society will bring a value crisis. To avoid it is implementing of character education to improve the quality of faith and piety. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education. This research is a qualitative research. Using interview, observation, and documentation as techniques of collecting data, then the data was analyzed by Miles and Huberman models. The research results showed that the implementation of character education through: habitual worship before school, in the class, rest, and before going home; giving advice inside and outside the learning process; exemplary teacher in starting the application of character education; internalization by focusing on cognition dimension and value, as well as extracurricular and religious programs. The character values ??applied are: sincerity, honesty, responsibility, hard work, and tasammuh.

Abstract

The Qur'an is a guide for every human being, including the Muslim population in Indonesia. However, not a few people who do not understand the Qur'an. The contributing factor is the number of teachers of the Qur'an that is not comparable with the number of Muslim population in Indonesia. The solution, needs a breakthrough in the field of procurement of Qur'an teachers in large numbers. The process can be pursued through the Qur'an teacher regeneration program. MA-UW is an educational institution, among the programs that are launched is the regeneration of the Qur'an teacher. This research focuses on three aspects, namely: Planning the regeneration of the Qur'an teacher in MA-UW (2) Implementation of the regeneration of the Qur'an teacher in MA-UW? (3) Evaluation of the regeneration of the Qur'an teacher in MA-UW? To solve problems and find answers to the three problems above, this study uses a qualitative approach with asingle case study approach. The results of this study found that: 1. Planning the regeneration of the Qur'an teacher at MA al Urwatul Wutsqo: a. Prepare books as a reference for regeneration material b. Prepare students to be recruited c. Formation of teaching practice groups d. Providing teaching places at the elementary / junior high school level and MI / MTs level. 2. Implementation of regeneration: a. Cadre implementation starts from class 1 (one). b. Cadre implementation is carried out during school hours. c. Granting trainer certificates for those who have graduated. d. Teaching practice in elementary / junior high and MI / MTs. 3. Evaluation of regeneration: a. Post-regeneration evaluation in schools, simulations, written tests, teaching practices in elementary / junior high schools & MI / MTs. b. Post practice evaluation: Written report and periodic monitoring.

Abstract

Schools with pesantren basis now is for integrating public education with pesantren. This study examines the pesantren-based PAI curriculum model integrates the curriculum into a national standard PAI curriculum. This is a head master effort as a leader who conducts two curriculums that is national and pesantren curriculum. The aim is in order to create a strong and superior generation in the fields of IMTAQ, science and technology development, and morality. PAI collaborated with pesantren subjects, is in accordance with national and pesantren curriculum. Pesantren curriculum is including Nahwu Shorof, Arabic, SKI and Kedaruluman, Aqidah-Akhlak, Fiqh, Qur'an Hadith, Tajwid. All of these are combined with descriptions of the books in the pesantren. Besides religious application programs including Reading Al-qu'an, such practices activites as tahlil, istighosah and dhuha. From the research results, the researcher recommends the Religion and national education ministry to provide training for teachers about the model integrated learning, especially for the institutions under the pesantren, then the school principals have to strive to integrate the pesantren curriculum into formal schools.

Abstract

This article aims to study knowledge management as an effort for learning organizations in STAIYO. The formulation of the problem in this study relates to the central object, the main actor, and the knowledge management process as a learning organization at STAIYO. This study used a qualitative approach with the background of knowledge management activities at STAIYO. The results of this study indicate that the central object in knowledge management in STAIYO is related to increasing member competence, which includes pedagogical competence, personal competence, professional competence, and social competence. The actors in knowledge management are certainly all structural members possessed by STAIYO. While the application process of knowledge management as an effort for learning organizations in STAIYO consists of, 1) the socialization process; regular discussions, holding seminars, including one member to attend training and/or training, 2) externalization process; documenting the results of routine discussions and making proceedings on the results of the seminar, 3) the combination process; requires every member of the organization to conduct research in each year, 4) internalization process; requires lecturers to publish in educatia (their internal journal).

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as religious education institutions have the main objectives, namely; preparing santri to master the knowledge of Islam (taffaqquh fi al din), then followed by propaganda spreading Islam and the stronghold of the people in the field of morals. Al Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School Diwek Jombang includes educational institutions that contribute to the nation by holding promotions to encourage the public to obtain the proper education. The purpose of this study was to determine the promotional strategies in marketing management in the Al Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School Diwek Jombang. This type of research is field research. The results of the study indicate that the promotion strategy uses tools; electronic media, stickers, banners, wall clocks, calendars, and personal selling. Marketing management through the stages of planning, organization, actualization, evaluation. The supporting factors are vision, motivation from caregivers, santri whose loyalty and totality and promotional tools are quite interesting. The inhibitors are santri / ustadz who are not visionary and semisi with Islamic boarding schools and some weaknesses of promotional tools. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of promotional strategies in marketing management of the Al Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School Diwek Jombang uses existing management tools and functions in the company's marketing management.
