Abstract

Solar cell or photovoltaic became one of the renewable energy which has great potential to be applied in Indonesia. Kaliwungu used communal photovoltaic system source of electrical energy., used load data in Kaliwungu to determined the capacity solar systems (photovoltaic array, battery, charge controller, and inverter), the potential reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, cost, and economic analysis. Economic analysis is used to evaluated the continuity of the photovoltaic system. Analysis used several methods NPW (Net Present Worth), ACF (Annual Cash Flow analysis), B-CR (Benefit-Cost Ratio analysis), FW (Future Worth analysis), and PP (Payback Period). Calculated used software MATLAB 2008a. The result shows to supply the daily load at 8,922 kWh can be supplied from the photovoltaic system with a capacity up to 2,85 kWp, battery at 464,678 Ah, charge controller up to 60 A, and the inverters at 3500 W. For the potential carbon dioxide emissions reduction up to 3,640 ton CO2. The value Rp -266.351.000,00 for NPW, Rp -23.894.600,00 for ACF, Rp 714.063.000,00 for FW, B-CR was 0.3850, and 29 years for PP.

Abstract

Indonesia with a very large population, is currently working hard to diversify its energy, in order to meet energy needs in the country, especially electricity and fuel energy, preferably environmentally friendly renewable energy, when this plastic waste becomes national problems because they cannot decompose under ordinary conditions unless they are converted into chemical fuel. This study aims to obtain liquid fuel energy, in this case used HDPE plastic waste raw material (in the form of packaged drinking water), this plastic waste is processed using the Catalitic Cracking method with silica Alumina as a catalyst, the process lasts for 4 hours with a temperature of 100 -400oC and 53% of the plastic oil obtained, brownish yellow, with density and viscosity and flash point approaching kerosine compounds to diesel fuel, in the process of catalytic cracking, temperature factors, process length and the catalyst used greatly affect the number of products and product quality from the liquid fuel produced.

Abstract

The implementation of state reduction in sequential digital circuits is made for learning the topic of state reduction. The method used for state reduction is an implication chart. This method starts with reading the transition table state and transfered into the array structure. Based on this array structure a table or chart of initial implications is arranged. The next process is to change the contents of the table if there are cells that meet the requirements to be declared as identical or not identical. This process is repeated continuously until there is no change in cell contents. The state of reduction implementation is made using the Python programming language and PHP. The results of the implementation are successful for the state transition table with 1 input and 1 output.

Abstract

Merck, Tbk. merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan obat dengan memproduksi obat yang dituju untuk pasar over-the-counter (OTC) seperti Sangobion dan Neurobion dan juga pasar obat resep untuk rumah sakit. Berdasarkan Packaging Work Sheet (PWS) dari produk ?X? yang diproduksi di PT. Merck, Tbk. ditemukan rekonsiliasi pada finished goods yang melebihi spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya oleh perusahaan. Rekonsiliasi merupakan perbedaan antara jumlah material yang masuk dengan material yang keluar sehingga jika rekonsiliasi melebihi yang seharusnya maka PT. Merck, Tbk. dapat mengalami kerugian karena jumlah material yang jadi tidak sesuai dengan material yang diproduksi. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang terjadi, maka penulis melakukan pengolahan data menggunakan hipotesis statistik dengan menggunakan metode pengujian Independent Sample T-Test untuk mengetahui proses produksi apa yang berpotensi menyebabkan rekonsiliasi pada finished goods produk ?X?. Dengan diketahuinya penyebab dari rekonsiliasi maka dapat dicari solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi rekonsiliasi tersebut. Dari pengolahan data yang dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan secara nyata antara berat rata-rata core tablet dengan berat coated tablet yang menandakan bahwa proses sugar coating berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variasi berat yang berpotensi menyebabkan rekonsiliasi. Oleh karena itu, ditentukan solusi yang tepat untuk memperbaiki proses tersebut.

Abstract

Recently, the usage of animal horn in Indonesia as a hand craft has a great attention especially for a dirk handycrafter. The shortage of such horn as raw material becomes a problem for the horn and dirk handycrafter. Implication of that is a gap between demand and supply in the market. To over come this condition, we design two machines-milling machine and pressing machine- that changing the scrap of horn processing into a useable raw material. The idea is converted the waste by using milling and pressing process.The result not only profitable for the horn handy-crafter, it also gives benefition solution for the green production process by making a better environment
