Abstract

Residential development at the present grows greater towards the horizontal, as a result of these developments is a change of land-use layout. One of the impacts of land use change order is the occurrence of surface flow (surface run-off), the other impact is the decline in the amount of water recharge into the soil causing ground water table to drop. In response to existing problems, there should be specific conservation techniques. Recharge well is one of the alternatives to minimize the surface flow and ground water conservation. The purpose of this study was to find out how to plan for the conservation of ground water by recharge wells using Sunjoto formula to calculate the debit and dimesion of the well. The resident area of Hibrida I, II, and IV is the place of research, the research activities itself is carried out by the method of interviews and experimenting the absorbtion at the research location. Based on the data and analysis results using the Sunjoto formula, note that the location Hibrida I, II, and IV are planned using the recharge well of circle type with a diameter 0,5 meter and depth1 meter for the recharge well type of individual, and with a diameter 1 meter and depth 1,5 meterfor therecharge well type of communal. Based on the review of total area of the house and yard for recharge well type of communal is planned 21 units with a discharge that can be accommodated in area Hibrida I as much as 0,120 m 3 /s, Hibrida II0,188 m 3 /s, and Hibrida IV 0,335 m 3 /s. Based on a review roof total area of the house the type ofcommunal recharge well planned is 35 units with a discharge that can be accommodated in the area of Hibrida I as much as 0,216 m 3 /s, Hibrida II 0,335 m 3 /s, and Hibrida IV 0,525 m 3 /s

Abstract

Lempuing is one area in the coastal city of Bengkulu with predominantly sandy soil consistency. This study aims to map the soil bearing capacity of sand Village Lempuing based on data sondir. To achieve these objectives, data collection sondir test at some point spread in the city of Bengkulu Lempuing. Once the data is collected sondir required, further soil bearing capacity calculations for the two types of foundation, the foundation palms (shallow foundation) and pile foundation (the foundation). Capacity analysis results show that the depth of the foundation (Df) ? 1 m, license bearing capacity (qa) for the foundation of the palm of the width (B) 0.6m generate value qa ?1,2 kg / cm2. Meanwhile, the bearing capacity of pile foundation at 6m depth ranging between 35-130 tons. Overall analysis results are displayed in the form of maps of soil bearing capacity. Distribution of value in the map shows that the farther from the coastline, the bearing capacity of the ground at the same depth becomes greater its value.

Abstract

Availability of parking is a very important infrastructure in the transportation system. On-street parking Is one of the causes of traffic congestion if its management is not appropriate. Basuki Rahmat Street is one of Bengkulu city’s governmental centers, that’s why on road parking conditions in Basuki Rahmat Street will be important to be researched and studied. The purpose of this study is to know about Basuki Rahmat Street performance and determine the level of traffic flow density due to the use of the road as a parking lot. Methods and techniques of data collectionare done directly in the field. From the results of the study for 4(Four) days of observations is obtained the data on the number of light vehicles (LV) by 52 % and 48 % of motorcycle. If seen from the side barriers, the contribution of parked vehicles on the percentage of side friction is 91% in Saturday, 0% in Sunday, 71% in Monday and 81% in Tuesday, and by reviewing the component of side friction is appearing that vehicles which parked in Basuki Rahmat Street area doesn’t make the road’s performance decreased. It can be seen from the value of the degree of saturation which is 0.38<0.75 as required by Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual. Actual average capacity of 4864.86 smp /hour for Saturday and Sunday, and 4782.96 smp / hour for Monday and Tuesday, This capacity value is smaller than the basic capacity of undivided two-lane road that is equal to 6000 smp /hour. It shows that Basuki Rahmat Street is still able to accommodate the traffic that passes through the road. Traffic conditions at peak hours at Basuki Rahmat Street is specified based on the degree of saturation (DS), that the performance on the road Basuki Rahmat for 4 days observations is at B level, which means that the flow is stable with moderate traffic volume and where the speed is begin to be restricted by the traffic condition, and the driver still free enough to choose the speed and lane road to be used.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the influence of surface cruduity value of coarse aggregater to pressure strength of concrete. The water ratio that aplicated was 0,5. The percentation of surface cruduity value were 100%, 50%, and 0% of the specimen. 9 cylinders of 150 x 300 mm specimens had been tested. It was showed the surface cruduity value to the concrete cause the strengths gettinglower as the percentation getting smaller (average 12 %).

Abstract

This research is aimed to find out characteristic of waves and significant wave happened in breakwater building as the reference in analyzing the dimension of standing breakwater type. The researcher used wind data analysis and visual measurement of wave. Based on the analysis, the researcher found that the waves were fully developed seas condition. This condition was caused by fetch value which was long enough, so the height of wave reached maximum value. The lengths of fetch was 200 km and the significant height of wave (Hs) was 2,85 meters and the significant wave period (Ts) was 8,48 seconds. The stress force (p) was 46,274 tons and the moment (Mp) was 185,094 tonmeters. The lift force (U) was 11,674 ton and the moment (Mu) was 31,131 tonmeter.
