Abstract

The general objective of this study is to develop an Indonesian supplementary book based on local culture in Ponorogo Regency using CIRC model. This development research refers to the ADDIE model which consists of stages (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; (5) Evaluation. Data collection techniques were carried out by documentation techniques, validation techniques, observation techniques, questionnaires, and tests. The supplement book trial was conducted twice with limited trials dan extensive trials. The results of this study indicate that the average percentage of book validation is 96,2% which means the quality are very high. The responses of teacher and students to the use of supplementary books were 91,7% and 85%. The result of the comparison of limited trials show the value of tcount = 5.118 > ttable = 2.365 which means Ho is rejected. Similarly, the results of the comparison of extensive trials show that the value of tcount = 10.514 > ttable = 2.365, which means Ho is rejected.

Abstract

This reserach beginning from observation that done by researcher to teaching material of totaling number at State Elementary School of Waung, Krembung, Sidoarjo. On learning process, teacher still have not utilize learning media as a learning source. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in integer addition material. This research used class action research design. Data collecting technique that use it, they are observation and test. Data that have collected will be analyzed by using descriptive quantitative analysis technique. Research result showed that by applying colour LEGO media it increased student learning result with classical completeness that obtained on first cycle as big as 64%, second cycle as big as 88%. Beside it, from the research result it also show that there is an improvement on teacher activity on first cycle with percentage as big as 71,15% and on second cycle 95,19%, also improvement on student activity on first cycle with percentage as big as 71,59% and second cycle with percentage 94,89%. Abstract

Character education in schools must involve curriculum content, the 2013 curriculum emphasizes the scientific approach in the learning process and Some Elementary School implementing Scientific Approach in Martapura. The research aims are to get information about: 1) the scientific approach implementation of the curriculum 2013, 2) the independent character development, and 3) the hard work character development at Elementary School in Martapura. This research is using quantitative approach with survey method that conducted at SDN Jawa 1, SDN Jawa 2, SDN Indrasari 1 and SDN Indrasari 2 in Martapura in South Kalimantan. The sample is 24 teachers at those Elementary Schools. The steps are to formulate: 1) questioner of the scientific approach and independent and hard work character, 2) observation form of the scientific approach implementation and independent and hard work character, and 3) conducted the research at the Elementary Schools implemented scientific approach in Martapura. The data collecting technique is using questioner and visiting class observation. The analysis technique is descriptive. The study result was found that the score avarage of scientific approach score is 82.90 with good category, independent character is 84.35 with good category and work hard character is 78.26 with good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the implementation of the 2013 curriculum and the character education of the fifth grade students of Danda Jaya 2 Public Elementary School in Rantau Badauh Subdistrict, Barito Kuala Regency. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of Danda Jaya 2 Elementary School in Rantau Badauh District, Barito Kuala District which amounted to 30 students, the research method used was quantitative descriptive method. The data digger used is a questionnaire as the main data digging tool to collect data about the relationship of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum with student character education, and added documentation as a supporting data digging tool. Processing data uses the produc moment correlation formula and the results show that there is a relationship between curriculum implementation 2013 with character education of the fifth grade students of Danda Jaya State Elementary School 2, Rantau Badauh Subdistrict, Barito Kuala Regency, this was indicated by the value of r count = 0.951> rtable = 0.361 at a significant level of 5% with N = 30. ) states that there is a relationship between the implementation of the 2013 curriculum and the character education of the fifth grade students of Danda Jaya State Elementary School 2, Rantau Badauh Subdistrict, Barito Kuala District. It is stated that the results of the research are suggested to teachers to instill character values ??in each theme. lessons and teachers should be able to give good examples of character to their students.

Abstract

Communication is also an important thing that must be owned by the teacher. In delivering teaching material to students, a teacher who has good communication skills can encourage students to be able to absorb lessons well and the smooth learning process can achieve maximum results. Communication between teacher students who do not work well can cause problems in class. One of them is the behavior of problematic students in the classroom that can disturb the concentration of other students in absorbing lessons. The main characteristic of SD/MI students is to display many individual differences, including, differences in intelligence, cognitive and language abilities, personality development and physical development. Differences between individuals in SD/MI students that ultimately can give birth to diversity of behavior. Teachers need to master good communication in order to be able to control the behavior of students in the classroom. To realize good communication skills, there are three steps that need to be done, namely knowing, learning, and applying the three main aspects of communication. The three aspects of communication include speaking skills, listening skills, and non verbal skills.

Abstract

Pembelajaran tematik merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan pada penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Indonesia mulai Kelas I hingga Kelas VI. Pendekatan tematik diyakini dapat membantu siswa belajar karena pada usia SD siswa masih berpikir holistik. Keterkaitan antardisiplin ilmu dalam satu tema memudahkan siswa SD memahami fenomena yang terjadi di sekitarnya. Pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran tematik di SD. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri dalam pembelajaran tematik di SD dan memberikan contoh pelaksanaan inkuiri dalam pembelajaran tematik pada kelas V SD.
