Abstract

In the era of information technology development as it is now needed a platform such as a website or application to facilitate the process and also activities on an activity or job. One of the activities in question is the existence of room management, when there is a loan of space to carry out meetings or socialization. In the process of borrowing this room there are still a lot of agencies that still use the system manually so that the level of efficiency is still low and less meet. In designing this system, the authors conducted a case study at the Department of Education Salatiga as a place of borrowing meeting rooms and socialization. If the agency has a website that is made to facilitate the process related to borrowing space, then later the agency is no longer needed to come to the Department of Education Salatiga. For that the author tries to design a system in order to facilitate the agencies in the process of borrowing space. And the selection of the web application platform is chosen to make it easier for agencies to use this service without having to install applications that will usually take up memory on the device and can be accessed anywhere by the user, in this web design researchers use Code Igniter software with PHP programming language.. In this study the method used the method used to analyze the problems in this study using the method of PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, Service). This information system is built to improve the management process of borrowing space more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is growing rapidly, schools provide the internet for learning activities by accessing educational content that has been created by schools through online learning media. SMP Stella Matutina Salatiga as a case study place, in learning activities using online learning media is not optimal because many school residents use the internet to access social media. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to manage internet bandwidth by implementing the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method. This bandwidth distribution aims to facilitate learning activities, where bandwidth will be prioritized for online learning media. By dividing the bandwidth using the HTB method, the bandwidth is more organized. The results of the test were carried out by measuring the QoS parameters using video streaming services and interactive services which experienced an increase in network quality after the HTB method was applied, it was marked by a decrease in the average value of jitter, delay, and packet loss, which means the throughput obtained is greater. The application of the HTB method is of course learning to use online learning media to be more optimal.

Abstract

Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) is one of the commonly used optimizers in deep learning. Therefore, in this work, we modify stochastic gradient descent (SGD) by adding a fixed variable. We will then look at the differences between standard stochastic gradient descent (SGD) and stochastic gradient descent (SGD) with additional variables. The phases performed in this study were: (1) optimization analysis, (2) fix design, (3) fix implementation, (4) fix test, (5) reporting. The results of this study aim to show the additional impact of fixed variables on the performance of stochastic gradient descent (SGD).

Abstract

Virtual networks in a virtualized server environment use Virtual Switches to interconnect network traffic on the Virtual Machine with the physical network. However, at this time attacks carried out by hackers often occur in physical and virtual server environments. Hacking on computer network security is often done by a group of people who want to penetrate the security of a system. This activity aims to find, obtain, change, and even delete information. Therefore the use of OpenvSwitch and the application of NIDS in it is very useful for virtual network security. In this study, a simulation was carried out to find out how big the percentage of NIDS success was in detecting DOS attacks directed at OpenvSwitch. From the results of this study, the percentage of success for Snort in detecting attacks in this test is around ± 75%.

Abstract

Twitter users come from various backgrounds and interests, ranging from just looking for entertainment, information, business needs, or discussion. Many discussion topics can be found on Twitter especially using Hashtags. A topic will form communication with other accounts, one of the hashtags is the hashtag #MencuriRadenSaleh, the hashtag comes from the title of the film Mencuri Raden Saleh which was released on August 25, 2022. This study analyzes the communication network formed by the hashtag #MencuriRadenSaleh using the Social method Network Analysis to find influential accounts in the communication network that is formed, the analysis uses the calculation of degree centrality, betweenness centrality, closeness centrality, and eigenvector centrality. The data is in the form of tweets containing the hashtag #MencuriRadenSaleh taken from 15 August 2022 to 25 August 2022 with a total of 9041 nodes and 6064 edges. The results of the research conducted show that the accounts @umayshhhhb, @iqbaal, and @mrs_film are influential accounts in the formation of communication networks and information dissemination with the hashtag #MencuriRadenSaleh, the accounts @umayshhhhb and @iqbaal is owned by the actor Mencuri Raden Saleh, and @mrs_film is the official account of the film.

Abstract

During the pandemic, people are exposed to the risks of in-person trading and tend to switch to digital trading. The purpose of this study is to examine the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) using the waterfall method. The data shows that online sales and purchases have increased significantly, prompting businesses to adopt digital distribution systems. The research highlights the need for community creativity, especially to reduce direct transactions and increase revenues through Internet platforms. In business settings, e-commerce acts as an intermediary for online transactions. Develop online sales and provide features that help buyers improve customer satisfaction and overall sales. The study provides a systematic and sequential overview of how MSMEs are evolving in meeting the challenges of the pandemic, highlighting the importance of adaptation and innovation in digitally enabled trading to business success.

Abstract

Kruskal and Prim algorithms are two Minimum Spanning Tree search algorithms on a graph that has similarities. With the speedy development of technology, a new learning media emerged, namely games. This research was conducted to design and test a game that can explain and visualize how Kruskal and Prim's algorithm works. The result of this research is expected to prove the efficiency of learning Kruskal and Prim algorithm easier and at better efficiency than traditional way of studying. The data in this research originated from a questionnaire distributed to game users who are still students or students. The results showed an increasing number of game users who understood the Kruskal and Prim algorithms.

Abstract

Corona virus disease/Covid-19 is the name given by the World Health Organization (WHO) for sufferers infected with the 2019 novel corona virus. Seeing the development of the spread of the virus which continues to increase and the rate of its spread is even faster, it has created anxiety in all circles in public. Therefore, an appropriate method is needed that can make it easier to detect Covid-19 sufferers without having to do Covid-19 RT-PCR. So that the treatment of patients can be handled properly. The author uses the C4.5 Algorithm method which can predict whether the patient has Covid-19 based on the symptoms and causes. The results of this study researchers used the RapidMiner application to apply the C4.5 Algorithm method so that the results obtained showed an accuracy value of 70% for Covid-19 sufferers. So that with this research the public can self-detect and treat the symptoms of Covid-19 suffered if the patient belongs to the ODP group, the action that must be taken is to self-isolate for 14 days to carry out the recommended treatment and to avoid spreading the virus to the surrounding environment, so as well as other patient groups.

Abstract

The digitalization of the internet in all aspects of people's lives is part of the results of civilization, which should be used by society to form civilized activities as well. But in fact, the internet, which is believed to be able to positively facilitate all community activities, actually has a negative impact. This study aims to find out how the concept of symbolic interactionism is processed in fact checking by. MAFINDO. This study uses the Symbolic Interactionism Theory paradigm and applies a descriptive qualitative method by looking at the mafindo case on social media. This study used in-depth interviews at the MAFINDO Presidium as the object of research. The results of this study indicate that Instagram social media has become a new public space forum, MAFINDO utilizes its Instagram social media account as a forum for eradicating hoaxes. This can develop a two-way communication process that aims to provide false news clarification education. Fake information or news can lead to social conflicts that lead to all layers of the social structure of society and can lead to disintegration of the nation. Their activities in cyberspace also form certain typologies, some are publicists, disseminators, propagandists, hacktivists.

Abstract

Metaverse is a virtual world concept where people can create and explore together with other internet users in the form of avatars. The capital city of Central Java, namely, Semarang City is still in the development stage to build a twin city of the Metaverse world, named Semarang City Metaverse City. Mayor of Semarang Hendrar Prihadi has revealed the development of Semarang Metaverse City. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of readiness of the people of Semarang city for interest in using Metaverse technology, especially in generation Y and generation Z. The independent variable used is the level of readiness and the technology readiness index and the dependent variable is interest in using technology. The population in this study were the people of the city of Semarang who were born in 1991 to 2005. The sample in this study used a cluster sampling technique with  total of 400 respondents. The method used in this study is quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the level of readiness and the technology readiness index have a significant effect on interest in using Metaverse technology.
