Abstract

This research aims to find out how the company performance of PT. YYY can be measured and evaluated by using the balanced scorecard method. The research using the balanced scorecard method aims to evaluate four important perspectives at PT. YYY which includes financial perspective, internal business process perspective, customer perspective, and growth and learning perspective in the period of the year 2013 to 2017.

Abstract

Free Trade Area ( FTA ) is a part of globalization. In order to support the economy, Indonesian government provides many facilities in taxation. One of them is through the bonded zone facility. Bonded zone is given to company which using export as their main activities. In this research, the authors want to analyze the supervision of this facility and the influence of the bonded zone toward cash flow, tax expenses and export activity of PT. XYZ. This study used descriptive qualitative method, where the author observed directly in the field through interviews. Primary data used are interview and literatures, documents of PT. XYZ and regulation used as secondary data. This study limits the period of PT. XYZ before accepting the bonded zone facility and afterhand, ie 2016-2017. The results of this research found that there is still a weakneeses in terms of supervision but the savings in terms of taxation need to be considered. Therefore, the authors analized that this bonded area facility is worth maintaining.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of debt to equity ratio, return on assets, return on equity and earning growth partially and simultaneously to stock return of coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2008-2015. The populations in this research are all companies of coal mining industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method, consisting of 8 companies. Based on the type of data and analysis, this research is quantitative research and the data source used is secondary data. Data collection method used is direct observation method. Based on multiple linear regression test, it can be concluded that debt to equity ratio, return on assets, return on equity have significant and positive influence toward stock return with significant value below 0.05, while earning growth have no influence toward stock return with significant value 0.9. Simultaneously, all the independent variables significantly influence the stock return with significant value 0.000143. Based on the coefficient of determination can be concluded that all the independent variables affect the financial performance by 26.92%.

Abstract

The impact of globalization has affected many aspects in the development of human life. Over time, the internet has become one of the human needs to survive in this era of globalization. The use of the internet in the world of marketing is not a taboo thing for the people of Indonesia, especially Jakarta. This study aims to determine the effect of reputation, credibility, and persuasive ability of each or simultaneously on the intensity of consumers in choosing a restaurant. The research methodology used is in the form of a quantitative test carried out by distributing questionnaires to 148 respondents and analyzed by SPSS Statistics 22 application. The results of the analysis show that all variables are declared valid and reliable. The credibility variable is considered to have a significant influence on the intention of choosing a restaurant. Reputable variables do not have a significant effect on the selection of a restaurant because the established and strong restaurant names are not affected by the reputation of endorsers. The variable persuasive ability has a significant influence on the selection of a restaurant. Variables of credibility, reputation, and persuasive abilities of food bloggers have a close relationship with consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore the direct and indirect influence of service quality and brand image on consumer’s brand loyalty with brand Trust as the mediation variable. Data were collected from 189 respondents and 187 responses had been used in this paper. “Service quality” measure used nine-item scale, “brand image” measured used six-item scale, “brand Trust” and “brand loyalty” measure used five-item scale. All measurement items were measured on five point Linkert-type scales. The four hypotheses in this paper have been tested. Service quality significantly gives positive influence to brand loyalty through brand Trust although service quality doesn’t significantly give positive influence to brand loyalty directly. Brand image significantly gives positive influences to brand loyalty directly and through the brand Trust. Brand Trust gives positive influences to brand loyalty.

Abstract

Repurchase intention is something that must be noticed by companies that provide products or services. Due to the repurchase intention of a customer, the sales level of a product or service will continue and the company will get its sales again. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand loyalty, word of mouth and celebrity endorsement on repurchase intention, one of the sports product brands. The research method that been used in this study is multiple linear regression and data collection techniques used are using questionnaires distributed online through help from Google Form. The population and sample in this study were all people who knew and had bought a product from one of the sports brands, and the total number of respondents collected was 150 people. The results of this study are that brand loyalty, word of mouth and celebrity endorsement have a positive influence on repurchase intention.

Abstract

This research is meant to find out the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Biaya Operasional/Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) to the Return on Equity (ROE) at Private Foreign Exchange National Bank in Indonesia. The population is all Private Foreign Exchange National Bank in Indonesia. This study has been done by using purposive sampling method with two criteria so 20 companies have been selected as samples. The analysis technique has been done by using multiple linear regressions. The results showed that CAR, NIM, and LDR did not effect to ROE, whereas NPL and BOPO has negative effect to ROE. Where it was proved  that together CAR, NPL, NIM, BOPO, and LDR have influence to ROE. Management should improve the company’s financial performance, especially on the non performing loan and operational efficiency of the business so that the company can improve to ROE

Abstract

This thesis created to study the effect from each macro variable from Dow Jones Index, US Interest Rate, Price of Gold, Price of Oil, US Inflation and Rupiah Exchange Rate to Sectoral Indicies and help investors to make a better decision for investors in investing. The timeline of the data for this study will start from 2014 to 2016 where some changes will be seen in US Interest Rate. The analysis method that will be used in this study will be regression where a different assumption can be made even though a lot of previous study results in significancy with IHSG. Finally, not all data show significancy when compared to each sector from Sectoral Indicies. This fact can be checked from the significance from doing T test from Eviews9. Assumption that can be seen here is that macro data such as Dow Jones Index got high significancy with Sectoral Indicies while others are lower.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of market orientation and company performance with organisational commitment and marketing capabilities as a mediation variables. This research is conducted in retail business sector in DKI Jakarta. The researcher collect the data by using questionnaire technique with  95 respondents which have position at least as a supervisors. In collectiong the sample, the researcher uses purposive sampling and SMARTPLS 2.0 M3 as a statistical tool for processing the data. The results of data processing to explain the significant effect between market orientation to organisational commitment, marketing capabilities,  and company performance. Organisational commitment and marketing capabilities has significant impact to company performance. As well as organisational commitment and marketing capabilities have a mediating role on corporate performance but both of the as partial mediation.
