Abstract

Indonesia announced its first case of Covid-19 on March 2, 2020. This research aims to find significant differences in the trading volume activity of pharmaceutical companies before and after the Covid-19 first case announcement. The data have been obtained 3, 10, and 14 days before the announcement and on the 3rd, 10th, and 14th days after Indonesia first announced the covid-19 coronavirus. The data has been processed using SPSS 26 version through a One-sample Kolmogorov Smirnov t-test. The results show that there is a significant difference in the transaction volume of the pharmaceutical stock company before and after Indonesia’s first announcement of the covid-19 case. This is indicated by a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, which means that the transaction volume after the announcement shows an increased value compared to the volume before the announcement. Indonesia mengumumkan kasus pertama Covid-19 pada 2 Maret 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan signifikan volume transaksi perusahaan farmasi sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman kasus pertama Covid-19. Pengambilan data dilakukan 3, 10, dan 14 hari sebelum pengumuman dan pada hari ke-3, ke-10, dan ke-14 setelah Indonesia pertama kali mengumumkan virus Covid-19. Data diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 26 melalui uji t satu sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada volume transaksi perusahaan saham farmasi tersebut sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman kasus Covid-19 pertama di Indonesia. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 yang berarti volume transaksi setelah pengumuman menunjukkan nilai yang meningkat daripada volume sebelum pengumuman.

Abstract

This study describes the impacts of financial behavior and financial attitude towards the constructs in the Technology Acceptance Model and its implication towards the attitude of using fintech services in Indonesia. Variables adopted from the technology acceptance model are perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and attitude towards using. Descriptive quantitative research was conducted by collecting data using an online questionnaire survey using a google form, which was then analyzed by using the structural equation model method through SmartPLS software. The results showed that financial behavior and financial attitude has an impact on customers' attitude towards using financial technology services in Indonesia. Therefore, this study may be able to provide insights for financial institutions to design, maintain or increase application’s ease of use and usefulness in fulfilling customers' financial behavior and financial attitude-related activities efficiently and effectively. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh sikap dan perilaku keuangan terhadap konstruk technology acceptance model dan implikasinya terhadap penggunaan layanan fintech di Indonesia. Beberapa variabel yang diadopsi dari technology acceptance model sendiri antara lain persepsi kemudahan, persepsi kegunaan, dan sikap terhadap penggunaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sumber data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner online melalui media Google Form yang berisikan pertanyaan kepada para sampel yang menggunakan scaling questions yang kemudian akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode structural equation model (SEM) melalui aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan informasi bahwa sikap dan perilaku keuangan dari individu memiliki pengaruh terhadap sikap masyarakat dalam menggunakan layanan fintech di Indonesia yang bisa digunakan oleh institusi keuangan sebagai sumber dalam merancang, menjaga, atau meningkatkan aplikasi yang mudah dan bermanfaat bagi konsumen dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya yang berkaitan dengan perilaku dan sikap keuangan secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

The entrepreneurial tendency is an interest of someone in entrepreneurs. This research was aimed at finding the effects of attitude, locus of control, and creativity on entrepreneurial tendency by using the linear regression analysis test as the method of data analysis. The samples were taken from the population of lecturers. The data were taken from the samples using questionnaire distribution and later were used to measure the attitude, locus of control, and lecturer’s creativity. Linear regression analysis test was conducted with normalization, homoscedasticity, multicollinearity, and path analysis to describe the lecturer’s strengths and weaknesses on the entrepreneurial tendency.

Abstract

Currently, import activities are experiencing many barriers. These barriers cause importer profits to decline. This study aims to find out factors inhibiting the entry of imported goods from the Port of Tanjung Priok to importers of PT XYZ. The analysis method used in this study is a qualitative method by obtaining primary data from interviews by e-mail containing questions to 22 employees who work at PT XYZ. The results showed the factors of the entry barriers of imported goods to PT XYZ are imported document errors, lack of port facility, and the break-down of the custom electronic system. Therefore, these barriers need to be corrected so that imported goods to PT XYZ will be in better shape. Saat ini kegiatan impor mengalami banyak hambatan. Hambatan ini menyebabkan keuntungan importir menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penghambat masuknya barang impor dari Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok sampai ke importir PT XYZ. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan memperoleh data primer yang dikumpulkan dari hasil wawancara melalui e-mail yang berisi pertanyaan kepada 22 karyawan yang bekerja di PT XYZ. Dengan menjelaskan hasil wawancara diperoleh bahwa faktor penghambat masuknya barang impor sampai ke PT XYZ disebabkan kesalahan dokumen impor, masalah fasilitas pelabuhan dan down system dari Bea Cukai berdampak pada terhambatnya masuknya barang impor sampai ke PT XYZ.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate, analyze the potential and existing of PT. XYZ. From this research Management, PT. XYZ is expected to be able to choose the proper strategic management action. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. For Business Development Strategy analysis, this study used EFE and IFE matrix, IE matrix, SWOT matrix and QSPM. The study found that PT. XYZ was in a strong position in making use of the power possessed and able to overcome the existing weaknesses the total IFE was 3.57 whose value was classified as exploiting the existing opportunity level. Meanwhile, the value of EFE coping the threat was 3,25.  IE matrix showed that PT XYZ has used growth and build strategies whose alternative strategies can be used to develop its business.

Abstract

The relationship between capital structure and profitability cannot be ignored because the improvement in the profitability is necessary for the long-term survivability of the firm. This paper seeks to investigate the relationship between capital structure and profitability of listed firms on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during a three-year period. A sample of 35 Indonesia firms listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange for a period of 3 years from 2014-2016 was selected. The correlations and regression analysis were used to estimate the functions relating to profitability (measured by return on equity) with measures of capital structure. Empirical results show a positive relationship between i) short-term debt to total assets and profitability and ii) total debt to total assets and profitability in the service industry, and negative relationship between long-term debt to total assets and profitability. This paper offers useful insights for the owners/operators, managers, and lending institutions based on empirical evidence, and suggests that profitable firms depend more on debt as their main financing option.

Abstract

UMKM (Mikro Kecil dan Menenagah) is the hope of the Republic of Indonesia to continue to grow and develop, but this is not in line with the development of UMKM, so many obstacles encountered, therefore the responsibility to empower UMKM is not only a responsibility. from the government, the responsibility of the company to participate in empowering UMKM through corporate social responsibility activities to the community in general and UMKM, especially in the form of CSR. Corperate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the way companies do to contribute or participate in providing benefits to the wrong perpetrators of society. The activities of Corperate Social Responsibility (CSR) have been undertaken by companies based on the cooperative, Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Maju WIjaya in increasing the development of UMKM through Corperate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. The method used is descriptive qualitative method which is usually done for case study and data completion which is used using the interview technique, and take from written sources from books, journals and documentation related to Kopeasi Simpan Pinjam Maju Wijaya in data management so that the result of it can be useful information. To conduct the activities of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to UMKM conducted by Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Maju Wijaya through five key successes namely Education, Discussion Group Forum, Assistance, Periodical Visits, Periodic Information for True CSR Activity can benefit UMKM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of vegetarian restaurant consumers and to determine the effect of health consciousness and food product on purchase intention at vegetarian restaurant partially in Indonesia. This Study also determine the effect of health consciousness on the relationship with religiosity and the effect of food product on the relationship with religiosity with an purchase intention at vegetarian restaurant in Indonesia.This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. The method of data collection is done using primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from the distribution of questionnaires while secondary data is obtained from other sources. Furthermore, the population in this study were vegetarian restaurant consumers in 5 major cities of Indonesia namely Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Medan. This study uses non-probability sampling techniques by taking purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study were 382 respondents. The method of data analysis in this study used multiple regression analysis with the SmartPLS version 3.0 program.The results of this study indicate that health consciousness and food product have a significant influence on purchase intention at vegetarian restaurant partially. Health consciousness and food products have a significant influence on purchase intention which is moderated by religiosity in vegetarian restaurant customers. Furthermore Health consciousness and product to purchase intention will be further strengthened if moderated by religiosity.

Abstract

Recently, the development of building materials supermarket business is growing fast and rapidly, this can be seen from the rapid growth of the Indonesia’s economy. One of the building materials supermarket in Indonesia is Mitra10. Mitra10 has 27 stores spread across Indonesia but unfortunately Mitra10's sales still can’t catch up its competitor, Depo Bangunan. Depo Bangunan only has 8 stores in Indonesia so Mitra10 must analyze the internal, external and industrial environments related to building materials supermarket business then analyze it using CP Matrix. Depo Bangunan is considered as a market leader in building and materials field so Mitra10 must conduct an offensive strategy by using a frontal attack on price, people, rapid delivery and customer service by using a private label so that Mitra10's private label will be increasingly known and at the same time subsidize high profit margins and logistic costs. The use of this strategy is applied to segment A which is considered as a warzone in a place that intersect with Depo Bangunan, with an undifferentiated strategy and applying positioning on private label products that are divided based on high end class, middle class and low class. The implementation of STP is assisted by a marketing mix where the price given in the warzone area is a local brand price that is equated with the price at Depo Bangunan and the private label price is given lower than the local brand in the Depo Bangunan or Mitra10 then the product will follow motives in Depo Bangunan that sell quickly so that the assortment and variety of products will increase, the expansion of Mitra10 will be faster and at last, the convenience of consumers when shopping also have to be considered so that consumers will be more loyal to Mitra10.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa variabel yang mempengaruhi kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang termasuk dalam perusahaan publik non keuangan. Variabel yang digunakan adalah leverage, pertumbuhan, ukuran perusahaan, risiko keuangan, tangibilitas, likuiditas, non-debt tax shield, ukuran dewan direksi dan ukuran komite audit. Penelitian ini juga menguji konsistensi hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Sampel dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 716 data dari 179 perusahaan non keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2010 sampai dengan 2014 dan dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling, Data tersebut dianalisa dengan analisa regresi berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel independen terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa leverage, ukuran perusahaan, tangibilitas, non-debt tax shield dan ukuran komite audit memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Sementara, pertumbuhan, risiko keuangan, likuiditas dan ukuran dewan direksi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan.
