Abstract

The existence of MI HijriyahII Palembang was in one of the rooms at the bottom of the Hijriyah mushollah which was used as a place of learning for the children around it. Over time the number of students is increasing and is known by the surrounding community and has a positive impact on the progress of education, especially for madrasa-loving education in the city of Palembang. This study aims to understand the concept of quality management from the planning and organizing aspects carried out in MI Hijriyah II Palembang and analyze the commitment of the madrasa civitas in maintaining and improving the quality of education. This research is evaluative in nature, which interprets the data created and compiled in a comprehensive and systematic manner designed to answer questions, test or prove hypotheses. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation, then presented in triangulation with data reduction steps, data display and data verification, after the data collected then analyzed with qualitative descriptive techniques. To guarantee the quality of the madrasa as an educational institution in order to develop a variety of creativity, science, and knowledge, especially those relating to teacher competencies that include pedagogical competencies, personality competencies, social competencies and professional competencies, the madrasas need to form a madrasah teacher communication forum, so that competencies the quality of teachers in madrasas can be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of extracurricular management in instilling noble moral values in the theater group Diah Mekar Harum, the role of theater arts extracurricular management and supporting factors and inhibiting the activities of implementing theater art extracurricular management in instilling noble moral values. Data collection techniques that is used are observation, documentation and interviews. The data collected is then processed through three stages namely data reduction, data display, and data verification, thenconclusions are drawn and qualitatively analyzed. The steps used in instilling the values of noble morals are through habituation, example, awareness and supervision. The results of the analysis show that the role of the management of the art of extracurricular theater in instilling moral values in the theater group Diah Mekar Harum which includes religious values, discipline, responsibility, creative, have independence, cooperation and care for the environment. The implications of this research are: 1) carrying out routine training activities that are conditioned leading to the cultivation of noble moral values that have been developed, 2) the roles and efforts that have been made by extracurricular theater arts builders need innovation by utilizing the potential of available educational resources for ongoing guidance, 3) parental support in the form of active participation in every theater arts extracurricular activity at SMK Negeri 1 Kayuagung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the management of education by implementing personnel management in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School Qodratullah Langkan Banyuasin III District, Banyuasin Regency. The type of research used is field research using a qualitative approach. The data used are of two kinds namely primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and interviews. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The findings of this study are that the application of education management has been carried out quite well, in accordance with the conditions of the Islamic Boarding School Qodratullah Islamic Boarding School. This means that all of the management applications have been carried out but due to limited supporting factors in the form of infrastructure and the state of school personnel, the application of management is carried out to the extent of existing management. From the results of this study also showed that the concept of acceptance of professional educators, proper placement of personnel, and unfavorable personnel welfare must always be considered, because it is very influential in the development of the Qodratullah Islamic Boarding School in Banyuasin, South Sumatra. This concept needs to be empowered and developed especially in improving the management of learning in the Qodratullah Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, implementation, supervision and funding of education implemented by the Al-Qur'an Jami'atul Qurro Islamic Boarding School (PPAJQ) Palembang. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method with a study caseapproach. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, documentation, and interviews. Research information was obtained from the mudir (leader), boarding school administrators, teaching staff and some students. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive analysis that is describing the planning, implementation, supervision, evaluation and funding of Education. The results of this study are: (1) education planning that is implemented is made by the fields that have been determined not fully running wellyet, (2) the implementation of education implemented by PPAJQ is not only baseline and tahfidz education but there are several methods applied including the following: applying formal education outside the hut, imposing non-formal education, boarding school, providing skills education, applying education throughout the day, applying the pesantren curriculum, (3) supervisingoftheeducation is carried out throughout the school but only pesantren who are in control direct the course of programs that have been planned and assisted with the asatidz council, (4) educational funding is sourced from SPP, donors, an-Nahla hadroh album sales and local government.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the managerial ability of madrasa principals, and psychological climate on the performance of MTs Negeri Lahat teachers both partially and together. The study that is used is survey methods. Research respondents were 49 teachers as samples. Questionnaire instruments regarding the performance of madrasah teachers as the dependent variable, managerial ability of the madrasah head,and psychological climate as independent variables and analysis tools using multiple linear regression methods. The study used a questionnaire instrument to measure each variable: (1). Madrasa head managerial ability variable, (2). Psychological climate variables, (3). Teacher performance, which was developed into 12 questionnaire items each. From the results of the study found that: (1). Madrasa head managerial ability variables partially have a significant effect on the performance of madrasah teachers, these results can be seen and the value of the T test which indicates a significance value of less than 0.05. (2). The psychological climate variable partially has no effect on the performance of teachers in MTs NegeriLahat with (P-value = 0.281> 0.05). In the F test obtained a significant level of 5% then with a significant level of 0,000 (P-value <0.05) then H0 is rejected and Hi is accepted. This means that it can be concluded that there is a linear relationship between the managerial ability of the madrasa head (Xi) and the psychological climate (X2) together to the teacher's performance (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the principal as a manager in increasing community participation, community participation in schools and the factors that support and hinder school principals as managers in increasing community participation in Islamic Az-Zahrah Elementary School in Palembang. This research includes field research, namely research by direct way to the place of research to observe and be directly involved with the object of research. This type of research is a qualitative case study research with inductive thinking logic, where this study has the characteristics that the data is stated in a reasonable state. This study uses qualitative methods, namely the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study are (1) school principals in increasing participation through service delegations, (2) Community participation in schools, both the community in general, and through school committees in providing advisory (advisory agencies), providing support (supporting agencies) overseeing the implementation of education in school (controlling agency) and the liaison between the school and parents of students (mediators) can be done well, (3) While the inhibiting factor in increasing community participation, especially parents, they do not have much time to participate directly in every school activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the constraints in implementing ISO 9001: 2008 QMS in MAN 3 Palembang referring to the concept of plan, do, check, action (PDCA), and its application to quality management principles, namely: 1) customerfocus ( Customer Focus) through the madrasah service survey, 2) analysis of constraints in applying the ISO QMS in MAN 3 Palembang is the focus on customers which isstudents through a madrasa service survey which is a matter of facilities in the classroom and student toilet. The research design is descriptive using a qualitative approach with interviews, documentation studies and observations. Data obtained from respondents through interview techniques, documentation studies, and observations regarding experiences, opinions, knowledge and other aspects to be collected, reduced, presented, and drawn conclusions to have meaning. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion it can be concluded as follows: 1) the implementation of the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System through madrasa service surveys and internal quality audits that lead to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, 2) obstacles in implementation are problems of infrastructure facilities in the classroom students for examplethe fan is broken and the projector is dead, and infrastructure problems in the student toilet are, the toilet lights are off and the door is loose, 3) the effort to overcome these problems is to fix it immediately.

Abstract

The results based on the data analysis can be concluded that the management planning of library services to participants in SD Isam diidk Nurul Iman Palembang done by providing infrastructure in the form of location and space, library collections, library manager (SDM) and circulation services. Implementation of the management of library services for students in elementary ISAM Nurul Iman Palembang evidenced from implementation planning, where locations are located on the floor 2, strategic, and noisy. The room was clean, noisy, accommodating 20 students and conducted in one room. Total collection of 3465 books. Business being friendly, berahlakul karimah and knowledgeable. The borrower and repayment is done by a process of open, closed, issuing membership cards, bring a book and check the time limit. Management's evaluation of library services for students in elementary ISAM Nurul Iman Palembang done by looking at the arrangement of space located on the floor 2, the left-right angle between the rack and the card, opposite side of the computer and reading table. Cleanliness of floor space, chairs, desks, collections, shelves of old books were not clean. Collection of the most desirable 13 fiction and 13 non-fiction. Behavior being polite, responsible, knowledgeable enough. Data visitors numbered 20 students and books borrowed amounted to 26 books.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The Process of Implementing Permendiknas No. 24 of 2007 concerning Facilities and Infrastructure Standards in Al Ihsaniyah MTs and MTs isy Aisyiyah 1 Palembang, 2) Factors affecting the Implementation of National EducationMinister Regulation No. 24 of 2007 concerning Facilities and Infrastructure Standards in Al Ihsaniyah MTs and MTs isy Aisyiyah 1 Palembang. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. While the analysis technique used inthis study is a qualitative data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the educational infrastructure at MTs Al Ihsaniyah Palembang has not met the minimum standard criteria set by the government. Inversely proportional to educational facilities and infrastructure at MTs Aisyiyah 1 Palembang that have met the minimum standard criteria, seen in the observation results that the study room, library, laboratory, leadership room, teacher's room, counseling room, UKS room, warehouse, playground / sports, places of worship, toilets for students and teachers, and other learning resources so that they meet the minimum standards set by the government.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the conditions of the implementation of teaching and learning activities in Madrasah Aliyah Pancasila and reveal the conditions of studentsboth before learning and after learning. Through this research, a complete picture of the teaching implementation process in Madrasah Aliyah Pancasila is obtained, in which the activity and creativity of teachers as teaching staff, infrastructure support and student activity are required. The study used a qualitative approach, using data collection instruments in the form of: questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The aim of this research is to explore important scientific findings from the conditions of teaching and learning activities in the Madrasah Aliyah Pancasila studied, and then look for learning models that pay more attention to the quality / quality of teaching staff, the quality of student input, support of facilities and support of other factors. The results of this study conclude that: (1) The teaching process has not gone well due to the use of less varied teaching methods so that teaching becomes less attractive, (2) A decrease in the quality of output because the teachers have not carried out their teaching assignments professionally, (3) Factors factors which become obstacles / constraints in teaching, namely the quality of input / students that are still low, the sense of responsibility of teachers who are still lacking, communication that has not been running and the lack of infrastructure.
