Abstract

This article discusses the politicization of bureaucracy in direct regional elections that occur in several regions in Indonesia. Analysis was carried out on several cases that occurred with cultural approaches. The findings are politicization of bureaucracy carried out by the pattern of patron-client relations between politicians and bureaucracy. Politicians need bureaucracy as a political machine, and bureaucracy needs the support of politicians as a means to develop careers. Practices related to patron-client relations such as persuasive action and the use of patronage are still the most important methods applied by local political actors in winning the contestation of regional head elections, while at the same time asserting that the main base of actors is to become legitimate political leaders and authoritative is economic resources and good social relations, both are the main elements of patron-client relations.Keywords: politicization, bureaucracy, patron-client, regional election

The implementation of Head District’s Role Number 46 Year 2011 about the home rehabilitation service in Kutai Kartanegara. It is a kind of public service that can influence the quality life of the society. Influence factors in implementing this program are service procedure, finalization time, service cost.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the work performance of employees, and then to describe and analyze efforts to improve employee performance and to describe factors-factors that support and hinder efforts to improve the work performance of employees in the Division of Program Malinau District Secretariat.The results of the study of employee Achievement in the Program Division of the Secretariat of the Regional District of Malinau in terms of the quality is good enough. While the factors supporting efforts to improve the work performance of employees in the Division of Program Malinau District Secretariat North Kalimantan province are in the form of salary-existence additional fees. While hindering factors are: The low ability of personnel resources, especially in the technical field, less discipline amongst the employee as well as the ineffective utilization of working hours.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe about the implementation of CSR program of PT. Pupuk Kaltim toward society and environment in Kelurahan Guntung, Bontang. The result shows that implementation of CSR program which is handled by public relation department of PT. Pupuk Kaltim bring high quality changes toward development accelerations in Kelurahan Guntung, in particular CSR environment and social development program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the Regional Regulation Samarinda No. 02 of 2011 on Waste Management in the Department of Hygiene and City Park (DKP) Samarinda and to explain the supporting and hindering factors in the implementation. This research is a descriptive studies and analyzed qualitatively. From the results of research can be concluded that the implementation of the Regional Regulation Samarinda No. 02 of 2011 on Waste Management by DKP Samarinda is not running optimally, it can be seen from the implementation of socialization that has not been evenly distributed in society, product marketing recycling bins residents who have not been accommodated well, the condition of the fleet is inadequate, kekurangaktifan ramli bank and the provision of polling stations yet to reach areas far from the city center so there are still people who have not been reached by the services of cleanliness by DKP Samarinda.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the implementation of family planning programs in the district of Melak, West Kutai Regency especially in terms of communication, resources, disposition, bureaucratic structure and identify the factors supporting and hindering the implementation of the family planning program in the district of Melak, West Kutai Regency. In this research, writer use the qualitative approach. Data collecting conducted by doing cirscumtantial interview, sharing observation and also documentation study. After this phase, is done by a data analysis qualitative that use the interactive model analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the family planning program in the District Melak not run well. This is caused by the lack of family planning and their extension number of cadres, the facilities were incomplete and lack of budget from the government for the implementation of family planning programs.
