Abstract

Abstract: work-based learning is work-based learning that is being developed in various vocational high schools to improve the practical skills that are owned by learners. Increasing practical skills can be maximally able to make it easier for learners to compete for work when passing the study of PDTM. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the learning outcomes using the work-based learning method with the CIPP method. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach, with the type of poll instruments and performed on the PDTM subjects in SMK Turen. The subjects were reached by a tpm class of 10. 180 students and conducted research into 60 learners as sample trials and 120 learners as research samples. The data analysis techniques use descriptive and grouped the percentages of likert scales. Improved practical skills evaluated using cipp methods namely context, input, process, and product. The results showed that the study of pdtm in smk turen, which uses work-based learning method, can improve the practical skills of students well even though there are still some indicators that have to be improved. The expectation is in order to improve the skills of practical skills to maximum students. Keyword: work based learning, practical skills

Abstract

KPL and mictroteaching study are course programs of education as an effort to equip and give an experience of real teaching to education students. This study used ex post facto research method with quantitative approach. Population and sample of this study were Mechanical Engineering Education students of 2015 generation. Instrument used in this study as data collecting technique was an questionnaire. Results of study: 1) Analysis result of hypothesis test of KPL showed significance (0,001 < 0,05). 2) Analysis result of hypothesis test of microteaching study showed significance (0,000 > 0,05). 3) Analysis result of F test (simultaneity test) KPL and microteaching study showed significance (0,000 < 0,05) and Fcount  > Ftable (57,642 > 3,11).Keywords: Kajian Praktik Lapangan (KPL), Microteaching Study, Readiness in Teaching

Abstract

Abstrak: Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat di tahun 2020 pengangguran terbanyak berasal dari SMK sebesar 8,49%. Dalam mengantisipasi hal tersebut, sekolah menyelenggarakan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory (Tefa). Hasil penelitian di SMK PGRI 3 Malang menunjukan dari pemenuhan sarana prasarana pada pelaksanaan Tefa berpatokan pada pengerjaan job order yang diberikan industri. Pada sumber daya manusia, guru sudah memiliki sertifikat kompetensi dan siswa pelaksana Tefa dipilih melalui rekomendasi para guru. Kemudian untuk dukungan industri hanya berupa job order dan training guru. Kata kunci: Teaching Factory, Sarana, Instruktur, Industri

Abstract

Abstract: The porpose of this study was find out the effect of intial temperatur colling medium on harness and toughness of medium steel carbon with quenching prosess. The steel will be used is S50C and the cooling medium with value viscosity of 20-40. The research methods used is kuantitatif with pre-eksperiment design and one-group spesimen control and spesimen eksperimen category. The variation initial temperature colling medium used is 300C, 350C, 450C dan 550C. The results of this study indicate there is an increase in the value of hardness in line with an increase in oil temperature. At a temperature of 300C has a hardness value of 204.39 HVN and a toughness of 0.0618 Joules / mm, at a temperature of 350C a hardness value of 255.14 HVN and a toughness of 0.0478 joules / mm, 450C has a hardness value of 271.03 HVN and a toughness of 0.048 Joules / mm. And at 550C the value of hardness is 234.11 HVN and the toughness is 0.0525 Joules / mm. Keywords: temperature of oil, hardness, toughness, Steel S50C, Quenching.

Abstract

Abstract: The pump is a liquid suction device where its function is to drain a liquid from an area of small pressure to an area of large pressure. Submersible pump (submersible pump) is a type of pump where the work system is placed in full water, the pump is damaged if the water is not in full condition. This type of pump must have a drinking water level so that the pump can operate properly, and the life of the pump can last a long time. The submersible pump is one type of centrifugal pump. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to create a web-based machining practicum inventory system program that can assist laboratory assistants and students in the process of borrowing practicum equipment, as well as facilitate laboratory assistants in monitoring and registering all equipment contained in the machining laboratory. In this study, the validation of the program has been developed by involving two experts, namely material experts and media experts. Validation have been use to determine the feasibility of the program that has been developed before it will be tested on students majoring in mechanical engineering. The results of trials product by respondents, there are two aspects which are assessed namely, material aspects and media aspects. The score obtained from the material aspect was 96.25% and 96.125% was obtained from the media aspect, so the total score obtained from trials to students majoring in mechanical engineering was 96.18%. Key words: inventory system, machining practicum, web

Abstract

Abstrak: Sampah merupakan salah satu permasalahan perkotaan terutama untuk di kota – kota besar di Indonesia tak terkecuali di Karawang, dan ini merupakan tantangan bagi setiap kota untuk mengelolah sampah ini. Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kebersihan (DLHK) Karawang mencatat populasi sampah mencapai 900 ton per harinya. Untuk itu pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan perancangan PLTSa. Sebagai salah satu solusi pemanfaatan sampah. pada penelitian ini akan merancang turbin uap jenis impuls sebagai salah satu komponen PLTSa dengan diameter turbin 40 cm. Dari hasil pengujian alat PLTSa putaran operasional turbin uap yang digunakan 1500 Rpm dengan tekanan 5 Bar, yang menghasilkan daya output 1,45 KW dan daya internalnya 1,337 KW yang tersambung pada alternator dan menghasilkan listrik 26 volt tanpa beban, serta 12,6 volt ketika dihubungkan ke accu. Efisiensi yang terdapat pada turbin uap 49,6 persen dan efisiensi internal relatif turbin uap sebesar 70 persen.  Kata kunci: Sampah, Turbin Uap, Kecepatan, Tegangan, dan Efisiensi.

Abstract

Abstract: Welding is welding that utilizes flame heat in electric arcs to melt electrodes and workpieces. SMAW welding is widely used because of its relatively easy to use, cost-friendly and maximum quality results. In conducting welding has several factors that will affect the quality of the welding results such as a welder, welding current and metal distance and welding seam angle. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of current variations and magnitude of the seam angle to the value of the impact strength and the hardness value of the SMAW welding results. This study uses a pre-experimental method with a one-shot case model. The results of this study indicate the highest impact strength values of current variations in the 80 Ampere specimen at the angle of seam V 60o in the amount of 0.0799 J / mm2 and in the 80 Ampere specimen in the angle of the 80o V in the seam angle of 0.0942 J / mm2. Then for the highest impact strength value variation of seam angle V group of seam angle specimen V 80o current 80 Amperes is equal to 0.0942 J / mm2 and specimen angle of seam V 80o current 100 Ampere 0.0824 J / mm2. The highest hardness value is obtained with a variation of the current specimen group of 100 Ampere in the angle of seam V 60o that is equal to 187.1 HVN and in the specimen group 100 Ampere with the angle of contact V 80o that is equal to 204.4 HVN. Then the highest hardness value variation angle seam V specimen V 80o with current 80 Amperes is equal to 191.63 HVN and specimen angle of seam V 80o with 100 amperes current that is equal to 204.4 HVN. KeyWords : SMAW, Welding current, V groove, Impact Strength, Hardness

Abstract

Abstract: The fingerprint-type digital key model driving safety system offers an accurate security system in minimizing motorcycle units from potential theft crimes that are rampant. This study aims to develop a security system for a fingerprint model on a motorcycle using the arduino-based prototype development method. The test was carried out to determine the results of the arduino programming configuration on the board with a fingerprint scanner. Research results: 1) the design processed using the Arduino application shows that done compiling means that the configuration is successful. 2) The fingerprint scanning test results show that the ignition of the starter is faster when the palm of the finger is dry; that is, the average is activated 2.31 seconds. 3) The result of detection on unknown finger will be activate the alarm. Keywords: Security system, Fingerprint, Arduino application

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to observe the implementation of industrial training program using Kirkpatrick evaluation model which focuses on the human source development. This study utilizes the Kirkpatrick four-level training evaluation model consisting of reaction, learning, behaviour, and result. The subjects of this study are students of mechanical engineering program and a few of industrial training tutors in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kepanjen. This study used questionnaires, tests, and documentations as the instruments. The results shows that in the reaction level, the level of performance of the trained students using indicators such as facilities, material, instructors, time, and infrastructure are within the good category. The results of pre-test and post-test of the learning aspects—with the mean value of 61,83 and mean value of 80,83—show that there is significant change to the performance. From behaviour level, referring to tutor assessments using indicators such as communication proficiency, intellectuality, cognitive and motoric strategy, as well as student behaviours are also within the good category. Result shows mean value of 83,7 (> Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning 75) thus resulting in good category. Keywords: Evaluation, Industrial Training, Kirkpatrick, Program Implementation, SMK
