Abstract

This research aims to analyze the needs of teachers and students against the students’ worksheet the Serat Wedhatama Pupuh Gambuh material collapsed by the integrative method for the student’s eleventh grade 1 Pemalang vocational high school. This research used Research and Development (R&D). Data on the development of the student materials sheet Serat Wedhatama Pupuh Gambuh material with this integrative method include three data, which are 1) observations about the teaching materials Serat Wedhatama Pupuh Gambuh material at 1 Pemalang vocational high school, 2) the result of interviews with Javanese language teacher at 1 Pemalang vocational high school, 3) scores of student needs against student worksheet. The data source from this research is from observing the teaching materials used in the process of learning Serat Wedhatama Pupuh Gambuh in collapsing, teachers, and students. The data collection was conducted by tracking observatories against schools related to the tembang study. The results of this study are in the form of data analysis of the needs of teachers and students to develop a quality and targeted Student Worksheet for the Serat Wedhatama Pupuh Gambuh.

Abstract

Curriculum 2013 Javanese language level basic competency dialogue/conversation prioritizes the verbal ability of students. Unggah-ungguh requires more refraction and understanding to be applied in a real conversationThis indicates that listening media such as relevant for the learning process of dialogue/conversation. This study aims to, (1) identify the needs of educators and students to podcast media for learning dialogue Javanese language grade VII junior high school level, (2) develop a prototype form of podcast media for learning dialogue Javanese language grade VII junior high school level, (3) describe the results of expert validation of podcast media for learning dialogue Javanese grade VII junior high school level. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with five stages. The results showed that educators and students need podcast media for learning Javanese dialogue. This research successfully developed a podcast-based learning media with the title Podcast Pak Jaka "Pacelathon Kawruh Jawa lan Kabudayan". The research products then assessed by material and media experts. The results of these assessments are used as a basis for improving media to be appropriate for use in learning. Abstract

School regulation at SMK Al Mina Bandungan regarding time management of the study and the students’ activities becomes a crucial thing for the teacher to determine effective learning methods. Based on the research background, this study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the “How to Become” method in sesorah learning at SMK Al Mina Bandungan. This study employed experimental research which used Quasi-Experimental Design as an approach to compare the two research groups which are not correlated. The data analysis used in this study were T-Test and N-Gain. The result of statistical analysis showed that the data from both the experimental group and control group were distributed normally and homogenous. After the study measurement, the T-Test result showed that there were no significant differences between those two groups. Whereas, the N-gain result showed that the pretest and post-test score improvements of the experimental group were higher than the control group with insignificant differences. According to the statistical report and some other factors, it can be concluded that the “How to Become” method is not effective for sesorah learning at SMK Al Mina Bandungan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the discovery of literacy development contained in Sundanese language textbooks at the SMA/SMK/MA/MAK equivalent level. This literacy development is important to be studied further, so that it can be used as a model in the application of literacy development to students. Based on this background, this study aims to describe the development of literacy contained in the Panggelar Basa Sunda text book for students of SMA/SMK/MA/MAK class XI. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by using literature study technique. The research data source is a Sundanese language textbook entitled Panggelar Basa Sunda pikeun SMA/SMK/MA/MAK students class XI 2013 revised 2017 curriculum, while the research data are 8 KD or 8 chapters contained in the contents of the textbook. After being analyzed, the textbook has criteria that are very feasible and easy to understand. The development of highly qualified literacy is able to support more competent, creative, productive resources and have high fighting values ​​in facing the era of globalization.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the suitability and incompatibility between the contents of the textbook and the curriculum. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the relevance of the material presented in the Rancage Diajar Sundanese Language (RDBS) textbook for SMA/SMK/MA/MAK class XI and KIKD, which consists of the relevance of the subject, the structure of the material, and the depth of the material. The method used for this research is a qualitative descriptive method using a checklist technique. The data source of this research is the RDBS textbook for SMA/SMK/MA/MAK class XI which consists of 8 chapters. The results of this study can be described as follows: first, the subjects in class XI are generally relevant and included in the good category, namely 96.90%. Second, the material structure in class XI is in the sufficient category, which is 71.80%. Third, the depth of material in XI is in the sufficient category, which is 68.75%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the relevance of the material presented in the Rancage Diajar Sundanese Language (RDBS) textbook for SMA/SMK/MA/MAK class XI and KIKD, with respect to the subject matter in the good category, the structure of the material in the sufficient category, and the depth of the material. into the sufficient category.

Abstract

Determining textbooks in legibility relates to a sentence or text form which when read is easy to understand, understand and remember the intent and meaning of the text. Readability is all elements of reading that affect the success achieved by a group of readers with the material. In Sundanese language textbooks at the SMA/SMK/MA/MAK level and equivalent. The level of readability of the discourse will affect students' understanding of the content (material) presented in a book. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the textbook can be read or used effectively by students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by using literature study technique. The source of the research data is a Sundanese language textbook entitled Rancage Diajar Pikeun SMA/SMK/MA/MAK students grade X curriculum 2013 revision 2017. After being analyzed, the textbook has criteria that are very feasible and easy to understand.

Abstract

Learning Javanese during the Covid-19 pandemic experienced several challenges. On the one hand, it is hoped that this lesson will remain strong as an entry point for the inheritance of noble character through language preservation. While on the other hand, learning Javanese, like a common phenomenon that is also faced by other subjects in schools in Indonesia, is experiencing difficulties due to online learning. This study reveals the phenomena, obstacles, and opportunities of learning Javanese, although in some cases it can also be generalized to other subjects. The design of this study was qualitative, using questionnaires and interviews with parents. This research shows that with the various difficulties faced in learning during the pandemic, face-to-face meetings and conventional learning such as the period before the Covid-19 pandemic were considered irreplaceable. However, our elaboration study shows something else. Learning that is more flexible and involves information technology should be paid more attention to equip students to develop more.

Abstract

This study aims at testing hypotheses formulated from theoretical studies. The hypotheses stated that the thesis supervisor, gender, and motivation affected the length of the thesis writing process and the Grade Point Average (henceforth: GPA), as well as impacting the study period. It is a quantitative research using mediation effect analysis (path analysis methods). In this study, there was no sampling as all populations were taken as respondents. Respondents in this study were 98 students of the Javanese education study program, Faculty of Language and Arts, Yogyakarta State University, Indonesia (PPBJ FBS UNY). The results showed that there was no significant influence of thesis consultation processes and motivation on the length of the thesis writing, there was no significant influence of thesis supervisor and motivation using the length of the thesis writing period on the study period, and there was no significant influence between gender and motivation of gaining higher GPA, however, yet, there was a significant direct influence of gender on GPA and motivation of gaining higher GPA, there was no significant influence of gender and motivation using GPA on the study period, however, there was a significant direct influence of gender on the study period, and there was a significant direct influence of the length of the thesis writing and GPA on the study period. Related to the findings of the research above, it is necessary to make various efforts so that students' intrinsic motivation is more awakened so that learning achievement will be better, and thesis duration and the study period is shorter.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of Javanese script multimedia based on local wisdom. This multimedia was developed using the RnD research method with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data obtained were validated by material experts, media experts, teachers, response questionnaires, and assessment of reading Javanese script. The research subjects were 5th-grade students of SD Negeri Kesugihan. The data analysis technique used was inferential quantitative data analysis technique. The results are: (1) Javanese script multimedia products can be used as reference sources and media in learning, (2) the results of the feasibility test consist of: a) material expert validation gets 95.83% (very feasible), b) media experts validation got 91.1% (very decent), c) teacher practitioners score got 95.6% (very decent), d) students responses in a limited trial got 93.3% (very practical); students responses in the wide trial obtained 90% (very practical), e) the assessment of the ability to read Javanese script in the limited trial obtained 81.6% (good criteria) and in the broad trial obtained 82% (good) criteria. Multimedia Javanese script based on local wisdom is a solution for Javanese script learning’s problems in the technological era and can be used as a support in delivering learning materials in class.

Abstract

Educational assessment is a process of collecting and processing information to measure the achievement of student learning outcomes. An assessment process that is carried out properly can have an impact on the learning process and can be a reference in determining further policies. The accuracy of the selection of the assessment method will greatly affect the objectivity and validity of the assessment results which in the end are objective and valid information on the quality of education. On the other hand, errors in selecting and applying assessment methods also result in invalid information regarding learning and educational outcomes. One of the competencies that must be mastered by prospective educators is an understanding of the process of assessing student learning outcomes, both theoretically and practically. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the extent to which the objectives of the Java Language Learning Evaluation lecture have been achieved, particularly in learning outcomes to study and select assessment techniques based on the basic competencies measured. This research was conducted at PGRI University Semarang, with the data source being 19 students in the 4th (fourth) semester of the Regional Language and Literature Education Study Program. The data in this study is the ability of students to examine and select or determine assessment techniques based on the measured basic competencies. Data collection techniques used are test and non-test techniques. Based on the data that has been collected, it is analyzed using the interactive analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model which consists of the stages of data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display), and conclusion drawing/verification. Meanwhile, to measure the achievement of the objectives of the implementation of the Javanese Language Learning Evaluation course, a goals-oriented program evaluation model was used. The results showed that most of the students had a good understanding of the application of various types of learning outcomes assessment techniques, namely 57.8% of students got a score of 100, 31.5% of students got a score of 94, 5.2% of students got 89 and 5, 2% of students got 78. Moreover, in the psychomotor or skill domain, the results showed that 41.2% of students got a score of 100, 42.1% of students got a score of 75, and 16% of students got a score of 50.
