Abstract

Abstrak Secara umum siswa SMP belum mampu berbicara bahasa Jawa ragam krama dengan baik dan benar. Penguasaan kosa kata bahasa Jawa krama yang minimalis dan kebiasaan berbahasa Indonesia dalam percakapan sehari-hari mengakibatkan siswa kurang berani berbicara bahasa Jawa ragam krama dalam situasi formal. Usaha peneliti meningkatkan kompetensi siswa berbicara bahasa Jawa krama adalah menerapkan metode semar ngejawantah. Semar merupakan akronim atau gabungan kata seneng dan marem, sedangkan ngejawantah artinya menjelma/memerankan menjadi orang lain. Jadi semar ngejawantah artinya senang dan puas setelah menjelmakan diri menjadi peran orang lain. Landasan teori semar ngejawantah ini mengadaptasi teori bermain peran (Role Playing). Data PTK dua siklus ini diperoleh dari instrumen tes dan nontes. Pada tindakan pretes, nilai rata-rata berbicara siswa sebesar 71,56. Nilai ini termasuk kategori cukup. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas mencapai 81,33 atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 14%. Nilai ini sudah termasuk kategori baik, hanya saja masih ada nilai sepuluh siswa belum mencapai batas KKM. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan tindakan siklus II dengan tujuan nilai semua siswa dapat mencapai KKM yaitu 80. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat sebesar 5% menjadi 85,78, dengan semua siswa mencapai KKM. Peningkatan hasil tes keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jawa ragam krama dengan metode semar ngejawantah juga diikuti perubahan perilaku siswa ke arah positif. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, kritis dan percaya diri untuk tampil berbicara bahasa Jawa. Perilaku negatif siswa seperti ramai sendiri, menganggu teman, melamun, dan mengantuk menjadi berkurang. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah dipaparkan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan metode semar ngejawantah terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara bahasa Jawa ragam krama. Semar ngejawantah as a method to improve speaking high level javanese (krama) for Junior High School student. Key word : semar ngejawantah, speaking skill, krama variant, role playing Commonly Junior high school students are not able yet to speak high level javanese (krama) correctly and properly. Their vocabulary mastery and their habit to speech Indonesian in their daily conversation cause the students are lacking courage to speak krama in a formal situation. The researcher afford to improve the student competence in speaking krama by using semar ngejawantah method. Therefore, semar is an acronym or a merge word from seneng and marem, ngejawantah means playing role of someody else. So, semar ngejawantah means being happy and satisfied after manifest oneself to play the role of someone else. This theorical foundation of semar ngejawantah is adapted from role playing. The data of this action research here obtained from test and non test instruments. The pretest action, the average grade of the student’s speaking is 71,56 which was regarded as sufficient. In the first cycle, the average grade became 81,33 or undergoing an increase by 14%. This grade is categorized good, though there are still 10 students whose grades were below mastery learning grade (KKM) which is 80. In the second cycle, the average grade increase by 5%, so it became 85, 78 with all students reached KKM. The improvement of the test result of speaking competence with krama by applying semar ngejawantah method was followed by change of the student’s attitude toward a positive trend the students became more active, critical, self confidence level increased to talk in javanese. The students negative attitudes such as being noisy among themselves, disturbing others, day dreaming, and getting sleepy are decreased. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that semar ngejawantah method proves to be capable of improving the students’ krama speaking competence.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to describe the content feasibility, presentetion feasibility, and language feasibility on the Javanese text book Padha Bisa Basa Jawa curriculum 2013 class VIII SMP/MTs publish by Yudhistira. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that is evaluative. Technique of collecting data in this research by using method of refer, sort, and record. The results of this study indicate the textbook Padha Bisa Basa Jawa curriculum 2013 class VIII SMP/MTs publish by Yudhistira of the content feasibility obtained score 85,4%, the aspect of presentation feasibility obtained 82,8% score, and aspects of the language feasibility obtained score 75%. Textbook Padha Bisa Basa Jawa curriculum 2013 class VIII SMP/MTs publish by Yudhistira fall into the category worthy. Abstract

Abstrack Folklore is a learning of java language contained in the curriculum 2013. Javanese language teachers are still dificult to find a source of learning folklore legend in Kebumen district.Lack of teching material of folklore legend and less interest of students in studying folklore make folklore legend in regency Kebumen feasible to be developed. Based on the questionnaire of the needs of teachers and students, folklore book “Folklore Regency Kebumen” in accordance with the title and purpose of making that use java language. The book is in terms of story content, design, and image arrangement is feasible to be used based on the assessment of material and user media experts. Keyword: enrichment books; folklore; legend

Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the students and teachers characteristic requirement to the listening assessment tool, (2) to build a listening assessment tool prototype, (3) to present the expert test result, and (4) to describe the effectiveness of the web-based listening assessment tool to X class of Senior High School in Magelang. This research uses Research and Development (R & D) approach. The Data collection techniques used in this research are: observation, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The result of the research is to create a listening assessment tool that can be accessed online by students using laptop, computer, or smartphone through access http://www.nyemakbasajawa.com. The Web tools generated in this research is an instructional assessment tools for X class senior high school, the assessment tool consist of crita cerkak, pawarta text, and descriptive text of Javanese traditional house. The assessment tool has got validation from experts in this material and graphic/media experts, and has been successfully tested to the target students. The validation and test results show that the assessment listening tool has been qualified and effectively used as an assessment tool for learning Javanese in X class senior high school.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrisikan bentuk variasi pemakaian bahasa Jawa dalam interaksi jual beli di pasar hewan, mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi variasi bahasa Jawa yang ada di pasar hewan, mendeskripsikan fungsi yang ada dalam interaksi jual beli yang ada di pasar hewan. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiolinguistik dan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian ini tuturan penjual dan pembeli di Pasar Boja Desa Boja Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah (1) teknik simak, (2) teknik rekam, (3) teknik wawancara, (4) teknik catat.Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis isi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah variasi pemakaian bahasa Jawa yang berupa tunggal bahasa yang berupa bahasa Jawa ngoko lugu, bahasa Jawa ngoko alus dan bahasa Jawa krama lugu, alih kode, campur kode dan variasi penyebutan harga kambing dan sapi. Faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi variasi adalah (1) faktor usia, (2) faktor tingkat pendidikan, (3) faktor pekerjaan, (4) faktor kebiasaan, , (5) faktor partisipan dan (6) faktor penyebutan harga. Fungsi bahasa yang ditemukan meliputi (1) fungsi personal, (2) fungsi fatik, (3) fungsi komunikasi antar personal, dan (4) fungsi imaginatif. Kata kunci: sosiolinguistik, variasi bahasa, fungsi bahasa. The aim of the research were to describ the variation form of Javanese usage in buying and selling interaction at animal market, to describ the factors that influence the variation of Javanesse at the animal market, and to describ function that exist in the interaction of buying and selling in the animal market. The approach in this research uses a sociolinguistic approach and a qualitatite approach. The data of this study was the speech of sellers and buyers in the Boja market in Boja village, Boja Sub District, Kendal District. The data collection techniques in this studt are (1) technique see, (2) recording technique, (3) interview tchnique, (4) note technique. The analysis techniques using content analysis. The result of this study were variations in the use of Javanese that include of Javanese ngoko lugu, Javanese ngoko alus and Javanese krama lugu, code switching, mention of variation in price goats and cattle. The factors causing the variation are (1) age factor, (2) education level factor, (3) occupational factor,(4) habit factor, (5) partisipanct factor and mention factor of price. The language function found included (1) personal function, ,(2) fatigue function, (3) interpersonal comunication function, and (4) imaginative function.
