ScienceEdu journal is a journal for all of researches in science education field which is established by Science Education, University of Jember. ScienceEdu will support science education researches that focus on curriculum of science education included its policy and regulation, science teaching and learning in the school settings in the context of early childhood to university education, and development of pre-service and in-service science teacher. It can be a home to share any ideas, opinion, finding, and condition views of implementation theoretical and conceptual framework of science education in its school settings. ScienceEdu journal publishes twice a year in June and December. It has list of editorial board which is included of experts in any context of science education focus. And any articles that exclude of the context above are not going to be considered to publishing in ours. Abstract

Abstrak Strategi dalam suatu pembelajaran terhadap peserta didik harus tepat kita perlu adanya pendekatan terhadap peserta didik agar kita dapat mengetahui setiap karakter anak, agar kita mudah untuk menentukan suatu model pembelajaran apa yang cocok untuk peserta didik yang akan di didik. Metode ini untuk mempermudah tenaga pendidik juga untuk tidak seenak memberikan model pembelajaran tanpa adanya pendekatan dan akan berakibat pada peserta didik jika kita salah memberi strategi. Abstract

The purpose of the research study is to analyze and find out what problems occur with respect to understanding and the ability to think critically of junior high school students against science subject with the application of the PBL model to better student activity. The method used is the collection of accurate information then analyzed and pretest-postest and fully understood and obtained a conclusion. Based on this preliminary study, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model can have a positive influence on students thinking ability, which ultimately students can have a high curiosity about the phenomena that exist in the surrounding environment and also students are able to develop and develop the knowledge they already have. then with new knowledge added to the amplifier. Abstract

Learning difficulties are a disorder of students in learning from speaking, writing, listening, reading, and other abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of learning difficulties and factors that influence student learning difficulties in class VIII D MTsN 5 Jember. This research formulates the problem of what types of difficulties are experienced and the factors that influence student learning difficulties in class VIII D MTsN 5 Jember. The population of this study were all class student in class VIII D MTsN 5 Jember. Data collection techniques using interview method. The results of the study show that there are some chikdren whi still experience difficulties in learning. In this case it is influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors, internal factors that cause children to experience learning difficulties are the lack of interest from the student to learn, while external factors that affect student difficulties in learning can be grouped into three, namely family, school and community environment. From the results of this study it can be concluded that many learning difficulties are experienced by students in class VIII D MTsN 5 Jember caused by several factors that can be classified into two factors, namely internal factors (from within students) and external factors (from outside the student).

Abstract

Abstrak: motivasi siswa untuk cenderung aktif dalam belajar keaktifan di pengaruhi oleh proses belajar mengajar guru. Proses pembelajaran sangat memerlukan keaktifan siswa, tanpa adanya keaktifan siswa maka pembelajaran terkesan membosankan. Keaktifan siswa sebagai unsur terpenting dalam pembelajaran, karena keaktifan akan berpengaruh besar pada keberhasilan proses pembelajaran Proses pembelajaran yang baik akan selalu melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam setiap kegiatan pembelajaran sehingga dapat membangkitkan motivasi siswa, yang pada akhirnya siswa akan memperoleh prestasi belajar yang optimal. Guru sebagai pembimbing pada dasarnya merupakan upaya membantu siswa yang mengalami masalah belajar agar dapat mengembangkan segenap potensi yang dimilikinya melalui hubungan interpersonal yang akrab dan saling percaya. Guru berusaha membimbing siswa agar dapat menemukan berbagai potensi yang dimilikinya, membimbing siswa agar dapat mencapai dan melaksanakan tugas-tugas perkembangan mereka, sehingga dengan ketercapaian itu mereka dapat tumbuh dan berkembang sebagai individu yang mandiri dan produktif. Abstract

This article is made based on the diversity of different learning styles and student interest in talent, especially participation in organizational activities. This article was made with the aim to find out the different learning styles for each student and the participation of organizational activities and their influence in gaining understanding and learning outcomes. The differences in learning styles and talent interests of each student are abilities in themselves. Teachers can also play a role in helping understanding learning in each individual who has different learning styles and interests. In this article it can be seen that organizational activities have positive and negative influences in learning and learning outcomes. The writing of this article uses the literature study method, by looking at various sources or references, such as books or several other journals concerning the same material as the article I made. With this article, it can be taken as a reference in learning. Thus, learning goals can be achieved without having to put pressure on students. Abstract

The purposes of this study were to describe the effectiveness of using song media in poetry writing skill for VIII I SMP N 1 Jember students. The data of this study were from the result of poetry writing skill pre-test and post-test by using song media in VIII I SMP N 1 Jember. Based on the result of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that (1) poetry writing skill of VIII I SMP N 1 Jember students without using song media with average 58,33, and (2) poetry writing skill VIII I SMP N 1 Jember students by using song media with average 72,26.

Abstract

Abstrak: dari segi topografi, wilayah kabupaten jember bagian utara merupakan wilayah dataran tinggi, sedangkan wilayah jember bagian selatan merupakan wilayah dataran rendah dan pesisir. Ketinggian yang berbeda berpengaruh pada flora dan fauna nya. Dari keadaan alam tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembelajaran sains. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan gagasan baru dalam metode pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan alam sekitar sebagai medianya. Sehingga dapat tercipta suasana belajar yang menyenangkan untukpeserta didik. Kata Kunci: topografi, flora dan fauna.

Abstract

This study has the aim of knowing students' understanding and motivation with the CTL approach. In the learning process is bound to the learning approach so that the learning process can run optimally, fun and full of meaning. In contextual learning students must connect knowledge through material provided by educators and connect with real life. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires to students' subjects from SMPN 1 Sukorambi. If you use the CTL method, students' memory will become strong and will not be forgotten. Abstract

Psychology is the science that talks about human behavior in the teaching and learning process, and it has a close relationship with teaching science. In the teaching and learning process, students are told to be able to understand and master all material taught by educators. Each student has different abilities. But the success of a learning is influenced by the psychological conditions (psychology) of their students. The purpose of this study was to find solutions to learning problems caused by the psychological conditions of students. If a student is in an uncomfortable, depressed, or fearful condition then any good learning method will not work.

Abstract

Abstract Learning difficulty is a condition where students experience learning disruptions as they should, both from internal and external factors. This results in students not being able to develop according to their capacity. From this research can be put forward the formulation of the problem, namely, the types of learning difficulties experienced by junior high school / junior high school students in North Sumatra, what factors that make students difficult to learn in English, and how can efforts solve the problem of student learning difficulties. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of difficulties in understanding completing the material in English subjects, the factors that influence students in understanding completing the material in English subjects and problem solving efforts. The method used in this study is to use qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used were literature studies and interviews with each student were different classes. The results of this study are that there are still some students who still have difficulty in understanding completing the material in English subjects from the aspects of listening, reading, structure, and writing, and which are the factors causing students to experience learning difficulties, namely from cognitive factors (ability to memorize , the ability to master the material and the wrong learning habits, and what efforts will be used by educators using teaching repairs.
