A Description of Moral Values in JK Rowling’s Novel Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban and their Application to Indonesian Morality Education Ainun Ralia; Kasmaini Kasmaini; Indah Indah

The research aims to find out the moral value in novel and their application to Indonesia morality education. The object of this research is a novel with title Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling. This research was using qualitative as the methodology and the data was collected by checklist data sheet as an instrument. The checklist consisted of 21 items which represent the moral value base on its types. This research uses Linda theory. The result of data analysis shows that there are 89 items moral value in the novel and all value can be application in Indonesia morality by using 5 value from Character Education in K13. From the results, it is concluded that people in a novel always bring some value which related to education and teacher need to know how to use it.

ملخص: تكمن أھمیة دراسة موضوع الفكر التربوي في علاقتھ بثنائیة الحضارة والتربیة عند المفكر الجزائري مالك بن نبي كونھ واحدا من أساطیر الفكر الحضاري في العالم العربي والإسلامي على حد سواء، الشيء الذي جعلھ یحتل مكانة مرموقة بین المفكرین العالمیین، لأن كتابات مالك بن نبي لم تتطرق للقضایا الإشكالیة التي تعني المسلمین العرب لوحدھم بل كان یكتب للبشریة جمعاء باختلاف أجناسھا وأطیافھا.

The Influnce of KWL Strategy Use in Teaching Reading for EFL Learners in Class Room Endang Haryanto

Reading is a process to to get both the information and knowledge from written sources or text. To make it easiers there are some applicable strategies. Based on some related literatures, KWL can be implemented in teaching reading for EFL learners in class room with varied reading skill levels. Hence this strategy assumed is appropriate use in Indonesian school context. This reasearch is intended to investigate how effective the strategy in helping leraners to enhanch their ability in reading. The samples of this study were the second year students of SMAN 07 South Bengkulu in 2019. The research design use is experimental study with expemental and control class. From the result of the study the data showed that the students taught with KWL achieved better reading comprehension than those were not taught with the strategy.

The Use of English Movie Assisted Role Playing Technique toward Students’ Vocabulary Mastery Yashori Revola

The result of this research showed that the experimental group got better than the control group. In experimental group the highest score gained by the students was 90 and the lowest score was 60. While in control group the highest score was 75 and the lowest score was 35. The students of two groups had different achievement vocabulary after treatment. The students‘ vocabulary achievement in experimental group was increasing and the score was high, but the control group the students’ vocabulary achievement was still low. It meant that there was a significant difference on students’ vocabulary achieved by students who have been taught using English movie assisted role-playing technique. In line with the result: the researcher suggested that English movie with role-playing technique to be used as an aid to teach students vocabulary mastery. The purpose was to create a situation that made students are interested and more active for learning English.

تدریس الإملاء فھو نوع من مھارة الكتابة. ومن أھداف ھذا التدریس أن تكون لدى الطلاب قدرة على الكتابة بالعربیة. ولتحسین كفاءة الطلاب في تعلم الإملاء ینبغي للمدرس أن یعرف الصعوبات التي یواجھھا التلامیذ في تعلم الإملاء ویعرف علاج ھذه الصعوبات. وإن للإملاء منزلة كبیرة فھو من الأسس الھامة للتعبیر الكتابي والضعف الإملائي یشوه الكتابة یعیق الفھم كما أن الأخطاء الإملائیة تدعو إلى احتقار الكاتب وازدرائھ ولم یسلم كثیر من المثقفین وأصحاب الشھادات العلیا من الضعف الإملائي الذي أصبح یشكل لھم حرجاً كبیراً عند كتاباتھم. وإن الكتابة الصحیحة عامل مھم فـي التعلیم وعنصر أساسي من عناصر الثقافة . ولذا كان لابد من علاج المشكلة ولطالما تمنیت أن یكون الضعف الإملائي من الأمراض التي یمكن علاجھا بالأدویة والعقاقیر. وفي ھذا البحث تعرض الباحثة الصعوبات وعلاجھا في تدریس الإملاء لدى تلامیذ المدرسة. فما ھي تلك الصعوبات التي یواجھھا التلامیذ؟ وما علاج تلك الصعوبات؟ أما طریقة البحث التي تستخدم في ھذا البحث فھي الطریقة الوصفیة. إن تدریس اللغة العربیة یتكون من المھارات الأربعة ھي مھارة الاستماع ومھارة الكلام ومھارة القراءة ومھارة الكتابة. أما

The Implementation Of Mind Mapping Technique to Improve Students Understanding in English Morphology Mei Hardiah

This study aims to know how far the application of Mind Mapping technique is capable to improve students understanding on theoretical course such as English Morphology.The method of the research is experiment with queasy experiment applying nonequivalent control group design . Population of this research are odd semester students (3rd semester) who take lecture on English Morphology course. There are two classes’ namely experimental class which is treated with mind mapping technique and control class which is taught conventionally. After applying mind mapping technique in experimental class, the result is significantly different. The experiment class achievement from the test is better than the result of the test in the control class. Moreover based on the observation, the students from the class treated with mind mapping technique proved to be more motivated and enthusiastic in understanding the material. Student’s center is also implemented in experimented class.

إن الأدب أو الأعمال الأدبیة تتكون من عنصرین: الداخلیة )عناصر الني تبني حق النشر الآدب( والخاجیة )عناصر الخارجیة أن تكون الكتابة( .٢١٤ وأما عناصر الداخلیة في الروایة والقصة القصفي أو المسر^یة، فبي الشخصیات والحبكة والبیئة والفكري والتوصیة والموضئ والأسلوب. وأما العناصر الخارجیة فبي السیاسیة والعادات والدین والاجتماعي وغزھا. وفي الآونة الاخغة تاكدت الشخصیة في الفصحى الحدیث لتطور العلوم المتنوعة مھا علم النفس لأن الكاتب یرد أن یاءثر القارئ في الشخصیات المتنوعة لذلك لابد أن نحلل الفصحى بعلم الذغس.
