Abstract

This article aims to express a data related the quality increasing effort of old islamic boarding school education at Pesantren Tarbiyatunnasyiin Paculgowang Jombang. This research uses qualitative research method to get a data through observation, interview and documentation. Whereas data analysis technique is using data reduction procedure, data presentation and verification. The results of this research study are; the first, the education quality of Tarbiyatunnasyiin islamic boarding school is kept well by a proof namely there are input which is run throngh efficient and effective process and output resulted throngh that good education process. This islamic boarding school can graduated its graduates who are not only clever on religious knowledges but also clever on the other sectors. Beside of that its education legality has beeb acknowledged by the government. The second, on increasing its education quality, Tarbiyatunnasyiin islamic boarding school makes some programs which are arranged and done by the organizers of islamic boarding school efficiently and effectively and it is also supported by sufficing means and environment.

Abstract

KH. Hasyim Muzadi is a person who has the Sense of humor, this was evidenced in his lecture at the grand reunion 90 years of Pondok Gontor. Sense of humor becomes an effective method for conveying a message or value. The approach in this study uses a descriptive type qualitative approach. The data in this case is the Sense of Humor lecturer, while the source of the data is the lecture KH.Hasyim Muzadi in the grand reunion event of 90 years Pondok Gontor. The analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results in this study that the element of Sense of Humor is owned by KH Hasyim Muzadi during the lecture, the aspect of Sense of Humor used dominantly on the aspect of innuendo or criticism and aspects of a funny story. The type of Sense of Humor used is the intellectual type of humor, because of the intellectual background of the speaker.

Abstract

To interpret thematically is to determine the topic. The topic of this discussion is the meaning of "caliph" and its relationship to the theme of educational leadership. The word caliph in the singular is repeated only 2 times, the jamaic form, with the word خلا ئف repeated 4 times and the word خلفاء is repeated 3 times. The meaning of the khalifah contained in the Qur'an is a description of the role and function of leadership. The description of "khalifah" in accordance with the concept that is synchronized with Zikr-Pikr and Mikr, which in the meaning of the word Zikr is remember or conscious, with zikr in every activity will always be aware and able to control themselves, its means using the mind to always make new innovations and always be creative, and then Pikr is the tought of Mikr in the form of ideas or innovations and creations in the form of programs and their implementation.

Abstract

Conflict is inevitable and will surely be present in every person's life or the life of an organization. Viewing conflict can be from two angles, each point of view will have different consequences and will even be opposite. When conflicts are seen as positive in the sense that they are seen as learning, conflict will become a force for progress. But on the contrary if the conflict is seen as something that is not good or negative then the conflict will become a weakness that can cause stress, division and even hostility. Looking at these two points of view when someone is told to choose, it will choose the good, that is, conflict is seen positively, because actually everyone does not like division. But this is not easy because in reality everyone tends to be emotional when facing a conflict that ultimately has a negative impact. Therefore we need a way to manage a conflict that comes so that conflict becomes a positive thing. Islamic education teaches various ways on how to deal with conflict. Because in fact there is a difference that is considered as a trigger for the emergence of conflict is a blessing.

Abstract

Education has the main goal to develop the all potentials of human beings, including; intellectual, emotional and spiritual. The problems that arise from the education such as fights, killings, brawls between students, and so on, certainly cannot be separated from the dry taste in the knowledge that has been obtained. So it is important in this case to discuss the spiritual side which is one part of intelligence possessed by humans through the Sufistic approach as a step in developing Islamic religious education learning. The sufistic approach in learning of Islamic education can be done through riyadlah (mental exercises) gradually with taking into the students condition. The process of riyadlah can be done by carrying out some material in Sufistic learning, which includes moral sufistic (tasawuf akhlaqi), practice sufistic (tasawuf amali), and philosophical sufistic (tasawuf falsasi).

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques use the method of interview, observation, and documenta-tion. Data analysis is done by condensing data, then presenting data, and conclusions drawn from the data. In checking the validity of the data, researchers use methods, namely extending the time of partici-pation of researchers in the field, increasing persistence of observation, using appropriate reference materials, and reading book tests. The results of the analysis show that the process of applying the Al-Miftah Lil ‘Ulum Method at Madin Wustho Hidayatul Mubtadi’in –Malang City was carried out through several stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Among the supporting factors of the learning process and the inhibiting factors to applied it.
