MB journal has been accredited for SINTA 4. MB journal is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal published twice a year (April and October). This journal published articles in Bahasa but in 2019 MB journal published all articles in English. This journal only accepts articles from original research results. MB journal welcomes all articles related to management and business fields. Subjects suitable for publication include financial management, marketing management, human resource management, operation management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and international business. Manajemen Bisnis journal has been indexed in Google Scholar and DOAJ. MB journal keeps an attempt to be indexed in other journal directories.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Cash Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Investment (ROI) on Dividend Per Share (Study at Property and Real Estate Company listed in BEI). Multiple regression analysis used to analyze data. Secondary data was taken from 68 respondents in the BEI (Indonesian Capital Market Directory, KSEI, and www.idx.co.id) and the oobservation period from 2009 to 2012. The result indicated that current ratio, cash ratio, debt to equity ratio, and return on investment have simultaneously efect on dividend per share. Partially, Current Ratio, Cash Ratio, Return on Investment have a negative effect on Dividend Per Share. While Debt to Equity Ratio has no effect to Dividend Per Share. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of cash devidend payment announcement on stock return. Compass 100 Index is a collection of 100 companies that have good financial performance as well as changes in the level and frequency of transactions is high prices. The result showed that there was a significant effect between cash devidend payment announcement and stock return changes. Some conditions showed an abnormal return, where in period t-2, t0, t1 and t3 were greater than t tables. It indicates that the payment announcement of cash devidend information increasing market trust and investor attractive.Keywords: Cash Dividend Payment Announcement, Stock Return changes, Compass 100 Index

Abstract

This research intent to determine the effect of Brand Associations which consists of Intangible Attributes, Benefits to Customers and Relative Prices significant influence the purchase decision and to determine variable dominant Brand Associations on purchasing decisions. This research, data were collected through a questionnaire technique on 100 respondents facial milk cleanser brand in Indomaret Viva by using Judgmental Sampilng techniques. Then performed an analysis of the data obtained through the test instrument using validity test and reliability test. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Testing instrument through simultaneous test (F test) and partial test (t test) data processed resulting equation. Hypothesis testing using test through the coefficient of determination (R2), it is known that the Adjusted R2 indicates that the appropriate regression equation to predict the dependent variable, while the rest is explained by other variables that are not addressed in this study. F test results can be seen all over the independent variables consisting of Intangible Attributes, Benefits for Customers, and the relative price has a significant influence together (simultaneously) to the buying decision. Then the t test showed that the Customer Benefits shown to have a dominant influence on the dependent variable (purchasing decisions).Keyword: Intangible Attributes, Benefits to Customers, Relative Prices, Purchase Decision

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the subordinate maturity, the leadership style of task behavior and relationship behavior and, Analyze the leadership style according to the theory of Hersey and Blanchard. Analyzer used in this research is by using scale analysis. it can be concluded that the level of maturity subordinate in Pengadilan Negeri Situbondo can be described that for the civil service in the category of high, common parts are very high and tge financial section included in the high criteria.  Leadership style task behavior on the part of personel, general and financial sections include in the high criteria. Behavior on the part of employment relationship in the category of very high while for the public and included in the criteria of high finance. Leadership style according to the theory of Hersey and Blanchard in Pengadilan Negeri Situbondo is consultative.The suggestion in this research that the leadership should be more active in controlling the activities undertaken bye the employees to provide input and direction so that employees can carry out operational activities of the agency in accordance with the conditions set. Leaders must set a deadline for the finalization of the work so that the work can be completed on time so that the direction given is actually run in line with expectations and leadership should provide encouragement or motivation to employees in order to complete the work that is the responsibility in accordance with the provisions set.Keyword: Leaderhip Style, Behavior Relationship, Task Behavior, Hersey and Blankhard Theory.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of television advertising endorser Top Coffee "Iwan Fals". The method used Direct Rating Method (DRM) and EPIC. Type of this study is a survey. The objects are students of universities in Malang. The data collection technique is non-probability sampling with convenience sampling technique. Direct Rating Method (DRM) and the EPIC methods are analytical tools to measure the effectiveness of television advertising endorser Top Coffee "Iwan Fals".  The result of Direct Rating Method indicates that ads endorser has a good category, and EPIC result shows that ads endorser is more effective. Based on the overall results from both analysis can be concluded that television advertising endorser Top Coffee "Iwan Fals" is good and effective. Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the correlation between stressor and work stress, stressor and work achiavement, work stress and work achievement, and stressor and work achievement through work stress on the employees in the marketing division of Sinar Jaya cooperative, Malang. This descriptive-quantitative study employed mathemathical methods in describing the phenomena, while scale analysis method was used to describe the levels of the employees’ stressor, work stress, and work achiavement. Inaddition, the path analysis was used in testing the coutribution that was indicated by the path coefficient between the employees’ stressor, work stress, and work achievement variables. The average result of the scale analysis revealed that the stressor, work stress, and work achievement variables were considered high. Furthermore, the result of the path analysis also showed a significant correlation between stressor and work achievement through work stress. Keyword : Marketing Employees, Stressor, Work Stress, Work Achivement

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence on the part of employes job performance marketing division. This type of research is a quantitative study conducted on 32 employees of the marketing Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) Sinar Jaya Malang. Analysis tools used were a range of scales and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of research competence influence on employee performance, including the ability to know that the competence evidenced in the high category with an average score scale range is 100.67, competence knowledge in very high category with a score of 105, and competence in the category of self-concept is also very high with the average score scale range is 109.67. Employee performance in the high category, indicated by an average score of 93.33 scale range.Keywords: The Characteristics of Individuals, Competence and employee performance, Marketing.

Abstract

The research aim is to analyze the effect of dividend policy on company’s stock price. The analysis used Distributed-Lag Regression with Alt and Timbergen Method. The result shows that devident policy has lower contribution on stock price. Dividend on the t-2 period has a significant influence on the stock’s price, but on the t-1 period, and t-3 there were no significant effect. The finding indicates that dividend policy has a significant effet on stock price. it means the more dividend increase, stock’s price will increase high. Abstract

This research is descriptive nature of case study research analytical tool used to determine and analyze the financial performance of telecommunications companies listing in BEI using EVA analysis. Assessment of financial performance is measured with the provision that if EVA ≥ 0, then provide economic value added to the company , if EVA ≤ 0 , then it does not give the company's.EconomicValueAdded.Based on the analysis of financial performance of telecommunications companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange fluctuated , In 2010 PT XL Xiata Tbk and PT Inovisi Infrcom tbk give Economic Value Added . In 2011, PT XL Xiata Tbk , PT Indosat Tbk , and PT Infracom Tbk , and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk otherwise provide Economic Value Added and the year in 2012 Infracom PT Tbk and PT Indosat Tbk otherwise provide Economic Value Added ( EVA)≥0.Telecommunications companies that provide the greatest economic value added in 2011 was PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia tbk Based on the above conclusions , the authors recognize that these results are still far from perfect , due to the limitations of both the data and the object of research , because it is necessary for other researchers conducted research on EVA by using a longer period of study or research use another object. Keywords: Economic Value Added, Financial Performance, telecommunication Companies

Abstract

This research aims to test the influence of corporate financial performance of banking corporate proxied on CAR, NPL, NIM, ROA, ROE, LDR, BOPO against stock prices on corporate banking in Indonesia stock exchange simultaneously and partial. The population in this study is banking company in Indonesia Stock Exchange amounted to 36 banks. Samples was determined by the method of purposive sampling in order to obtain 23 sample companies . The results of this research show that partially contributing significantly to the stock price is the NPL, ROA, and LDR. As for the CAR, ROE, NIM, BOPO had no significant effect on stock prices. Simultaneously shows there is influence between all independent variables on stock prices. The magnitude of the effect was 31,7% while the rest of 68,3% influenced other factors outside of research. The implications of this research shows that financial performance on certain conditions, have no effect on the decisions of investors in the capital markets.Keywords: Financial Performance, Stock Prices, Banking
