The Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang published Manajemen Bisnis (MB) journal in 2011. MB journal has been accredited for SINTA 4. MB journal is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal published twice a year (April and October). This journal published articles in Bahasa but in 2019 MB journal published all articles in English. This journal only accepts articles from original research results. MB journal welcomes all articles related to management and business fields. Subjects suitable for publication include financial management, marketing management, human resource management, operation management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and international business. Manajemen Bisnis journal has been indexed in Google Scholar and DOAJ. MB journal keeps an attempt to be indexed in other journal directories.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the effect of the rust, website usability, and the risk of online shopping on intentions to buy in social media. The analytical tool used in this research was a multiple linear regression with SPSS. The result shows that trust, website usability, and the risk of online shopping have a simoultaneously and partially influence on intention to buy. The practical implication is the F irm should provide more attention to trust, website usability, and the risk of online shopping. Its could be increasing sales and the consumer F eels safe and comfortable in the process of online shopping transactions.Keywords: trust, the easy of service operating, the risk of online shopping, purchase intention.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the effect of product placement on word of mouth at NBL Indonesia. Population is audience of NBL Indonesia. Sample taken were 100 respondents using purpossive sampling method. Simple Linear Regression used as an analytical tool. Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of capital market interation Indonesia (Jakarta Composite Index) with American capital markets (Dow Jones Industrial Average), England (FTSE 100 Index), German (Deutsche Borse AG German Stock Index), Hongkong (Hang Seng) and Japan (Nikkei 225). The result of this study expected to become an information for investment actors in deciding to invest at the stockmarket. These variables include the Indonesian capital market as the dependent variable and the global capital markets as an independent variable. Analysis tool is the correlation coefficient and t test. It is used to determine the significance of the correlation coefficient between independent variables and the dependent variable. Based on the calculation of the correlation coefficient is exemplified that the market index Indonesian capital market and the five major global capital markets has been integrated on various classification levels of relationships or different integration. The level of integration between Indonesian capital market and capital markets of America and Japan are very strong level of integration, the German stock market has stronglevel integration, and England and Hong Kong capital market has low level integration.

Abstract

The research purposes are to analyses the effect of product, price, promotion, place, and process on brand switching decisions, and to determine dominant effect of those on brand switching decisions. Logistic regression of analysis was used as statistical analyses. The result showed that product, price, promotion, place, and process have a positive effect on brand switching decisions. Variable process has a dominant effect on brand switching decisions. The suggestions from this resesarch that the company should have many efforts to provide guarantee to satisfied customers by offering qualified product, giving gift or bonuses and decreasing the mobile card price. Keyword: Product, Price, Promotion, Place, Process, Brand Switching, Mobile Card.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the feasibility of students boarding house around University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The analytical tool are Net Present Value, Payback Period, Average Rate of Return, Internal Rate of Return, Profitability Index.The results of the analysis of boarding house owned by Mr. Rofiq show that the Net Present Value is 226.968.193,1 rupiahwhich is more than null (eligible). Value Payback Period is six years one month and seven days which is less than 20 years (feasible). Internal Rate of Return is 17,2063 % which is higher than COC, it is declared eligible.The value of Average Rate of Return is 43 %  which is more than 15 % (feasible). The value of Profitability Index is 1,44 which is more than one (feasible).The results of the analysis of boarding house owned by Mrs. Atnah show that Net Present Value is 22.370.869,3 rupiah which is more than null, it is declared eligible. Value Payback Period is twelve years two months and twentythree days is less than 20 years (feasible). Internal Rate of Return is 17,8111 % which is higher than COC, it is declared eligible. The value of Average Rate of Return is  38 % which is more than 17 % (feasible). The value of Profitability Index is 1.058 which is more than one (feasible). In other words, the investments wasconducted by both the owner of boarding house was proceed.The results of the analysis of boarding house owned by Mr. Sofi show that Net Present Value is minus 170.035.625,2 rupiah which is not more than null (unfit). Value Payback Period is 32 years 2 months 12 days is more than 20 years (not feasible). The results of the value of the Internal Rate of Return is 3,7435 % is less than COC which is declared unfit. The value of Average Rate of Return is  2% which is not  expected (less than 15%) declared unfit. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the most influential ratio of CAMEL on bankruptcy of banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange. The other purpose is to predict bank bankruptcy. The result resesarch found that the ratios of CAMEL have a positive and significant effect in predicting bankruptcy of the banking company. The ratio of capital adequacy ratio (CAR) is accurate for predicting bank bankruptcy with a significance level of 0.014. It could be suggested that banks management should be pay more attention to the ratio of capital adequacy ratio (CAR) because it can provide a positive influence on the prediction of bank bankruptcy. Investors should be also pay more attention to the CAR when making a decision to minimize the risk. Further research should be consider other than CAMEL ratios, for example, aspects of compliance including Maximum Lending limit (LLL), reserve requirement (GWM), and Net Open Position (NOP). Keywords: Predicting Bankruptcy, CAMEL and CAR.

Abstract

This study is based on the importance of service quality on the company. This meant that all the goods and services offered will have a good place in the eyes of the public as consumers and potential consumers. Although relatively new company, but the importance of service quality mak  the company is trying to get customers as possible by providing services and facilities.  The purpose of this study is to analyze quality of service in the Physical dimension (Tangible), reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy on ECO Green Park Batu city. The population in this study are visitor. Total sample of 100 people, with a quota sampling technique and using a questionnaire for data collection. Analyses data using frequency distribution and analysis tools using servqual and Cartesian diagram. The results showed that the A quadrant is a main priority of the counter clerk service providing quickly. Kuadran B or maintain achievement, factors that include the access road to the Park is easy, has a large parking lot, the company providing the information right, the right service / satisfaction of the officer, the company provide information in a clear, swift cleaning service clean the tourist area, safety guard officers ready to serve. Quadrant C or low priority that the appropriate services / satisfaction of the officer, the officer has a vast knowledge when they explain to visitors officials are consistently polite, serving officers earnestly and wholeheartedly, giving service to all visitors without picky, ease of conveying suggestions / complaints. Quadrant D or excessive such factors which include building which attractive, employees have a neat appearance, complete public facilities, reliable officer in operating a vehicle. Seeing this is not a problem if the company providing the service excessively, because it feels it is able to make visitors feel satisfied.  Keywords: Quality of Service, tangible, in tangible

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know whether the automotive sector companies operating in Indonesia is facing economic exposure. This study uses the Distributed Lag regression to determine whether there is economic exposure that must be faced by the automotive subsector in Indonesian companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2008 to 2013 or not.The results of the analysis show that the effect of the company's external economic exposure in the show by the exchange rate against foreign currencies (U.S. dollar and Japanese yen) are not shown to significantly affect the price of shares in companies listed automotive sector The Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of this analysis can occur due to factors that affect economic exposure not only fixated on the exchange rate against foreign currencies but also there are other factors that affect the economy, such as interest rates and inflation.The results of simultaneous test (F test ) and partial test ( t test ) which found results that support each addition has no significant effect , the rupiah exchange rate against the U.S. Dollar and Japanese Yen also has a coefficient of determination with such a small proportion is 2.8 % and 0.01%. Small proportion of this which reinforce that the rupiah exchange rate against foreign currencies does not have an influence on company's stock price. Keywords: Economic Exposure, Exchange Rate, Stock Price, Regression Distributed Lag

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the financial performance of subsidiaries of Japanese multinationals operating in Indonesia from the perspective of the Japanese parent company and to find out which one of the company’s financial performance had morehealthy during the year 2010 until 2012. The analytical tool used in this study to translate is to use the current rate method, and the analytical tools used to measure the financial performance of subsidiaries of multinational Japanese was by using financial ratio analysis, and to reject the measure using the method of time series and cross section.The result show that there was conducted on the financial report of a subsidiaries of the Japanese multinational operating in Indonesia by limiting the study period from 2010 until 2012. Based on the financial results of the Japanese multinational subsidiaries operating in Indonesia, which had been translated and analyzed it could be seen that the financial performed of multinational subsidiaries of the sub sectors of ceramic, glass and porcelain which operates in Indonesia in 2010 until 2012 indicate unhealthy conditions. Keywords: Multinational corporation, translation of the financial statements, current rate method, exchange rate, ratio of financial.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the results of Raw Material Inventory Control evaluation with Material Requirement Planning method in May 2014, so the company Home Industry Sarana Bersih " Lima "can minimize inventory costs. Analysis tool used is a method of inventory control with materials requirement planning (MRP) engineering approach. MRP method is a mathematical method or technique that is used to assist managers in making decisions regarding the amount of inventory, production planning schedule, the schedule ordering, and inventory costs. Based on the analysis by using the method of Material Requirement Planning it can be seen that the results of the cost incurred by the company on the stock in May is 1.220.000 rupiah. There are savings of 293.400 rupiah of the total cost of 1.513.400 rupiah.Keywords: Inventory, Inventory control, Material Requirement Planning.
