Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersumber dari hasil Survei Kendala Dosen Dalam Pelaksanaan Perkuliahan Online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala dosen dalam pelaksanaan perkuliahan secara online (daring). Survei ini mengambil sampel yang dipilih secara acak berjumlah 22 orang dosen dari tujuh program studi. Pengumpulan data survei dilaksanakan secara online melului tautan https://forms.gle/6K9MZReG3sAyLo3e7 yang terdiri dari 21 pertanyaan. Dari pengolahan data didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa banyak mahasiswa yang tidak mempunyai kuota internet, lingkungan tempat tinggal yang tidak memadai dalam melakukan perkuliahan online, jaringan internet yang tidak merata sehingga mengakibatkan loading lama, penyampaian materi pembelajaran yang tidak maksimal, dan banyaknya keluhan mahasiswa tentang materi pembelajaran yang sulit dimengerti khususnya mata kuliah yang menggunakan rumus atau perhitungan matematika.

Abstract

The aim of this study has shawn that the quality of information and reputation TIX ID application toward of purchase tickets online interest in cinema XX1 Mall Ciputera Seraya Pekanbaru City. The independent factors in this study are quality information and reputation of application. The dependent factor is purchase interest. The subject of this research are user of TIX ID in cinema XXI Mall Ciputera Seraya Pekanbaru City. This research took 100 user as samples. The technique of data collection was accidental sampling. The instrument of data collection is questionaire method. In this research the researcher was used multiple regression analysis. The result has shawn that the quality of information affect of purchase interest. The reputation Tix Id application affect to purchase interest. the result of test explained how all independent variables affect the dependent variables. Result of multicollity show that R² results are 56% can explain how all independent variables affect the dependent variables. whereas the remaining 44% were described by other unexamined variables in this study

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to improve cognitive, affective and psychomotor understanding of SMA Swasta Hosana Medan students in Class XI MIA odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year with the subject of elasticity and static fluid with experimental methods using discovery learning models. This research is a classroom action research, which was conducted using two cycles using a total sample. Each class is taught with different teaching material, in the first cycle the teaching material presented is elasticity and in the second cycle the teaching material is static fluid. Each cycle is evaluated, reflected and improved in the hope of achieving cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning indicators for students. From the evaluation results obtained an average cognitive value for cycle I of 70.24 and cycle II of 78.10 with a gain <g> = 0.26 low criteria, and the results of the t test, obtained t count 3.13> t table 1.684 means there is influence. The average affective cycle I was 80.20 while the second cycle was 84.22 with a gain <g> = 0.20 in the low category, and the results of the t test were obtained by t arithmetic 6.203> t table 1.684, meaning that there was an improvement effect of the cycle I to cycle II. For the psychomotor assessment results, the average value of the first cycle was 71.90 while the second cycle was 77.78, and the gain <g> = 0.21 was in the low category, and from the results of the t test, t count was 7.83> t table 1.684 there is an improvement in the results from cycle I to cycle II. Thus the level of understanding of SMA Swasta Hosana Medan students in class XI MIA increases if taught by the experimental method using discovery learning models for the subject matter of elasticity and static fluid in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Abstract

Bahan ajar berbasis digital memiliki peran penting sebagai sumber belajar yang tepat digunakan di era kenormalan baru. Bahan ajar berbasis digital tersusun dari berbagai materi yang relevan dan disusun sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran. Spesifik pada komunikasi visual, bahan ajar berbasis digital mengoptimalkan kemampuan siswa menyerap informasi melalui penglihatan dengan cepat dan lengkap 70%-80%. Bahan ajar berbasis digital berbentuk visual memiliki pengaruh lebih besar terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di era kenormalan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar sains berbasis ditinjau dari perspektif komunikasi visual, dan mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan bahan ajar sains berbasis digital. Penelitian menggunakan langkah, meliputi: (a) define, (b) design, (c) develop, dan (d) disseminate. Subjek uji coba kelompok kecil 6 siswa. Subjek uji coba lapangan 14 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar sains berbasis digital yang dihasilkan sangat layak ditinjau dari perspektif komunikasi visual, yaitu validasi ahli materi skor 3,70/4,00, hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh skor 3,74/4,00, respon siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil skor 2,80/3,00 dan uji coba lapangan skor 2,89/3,00. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan produk skor tinggi. Hal tersebut didasarkan dari hasil perolehan pre-test dan post-test siswa dengan N-gain 0,71 dan signifikansi 0,002.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (think pair share) terhadap kemampuan menelaah unsur kebahasaan pada teks biografi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs. Al-Muslihun Menseh tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling sehingga terpilih kelas VIII-a dan kelas VIII-b. Kelas VIII-b ditentukan sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajarkan dengan metode ceramah dan kelas VIII-a ditentukan sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan TPS (think pair share). Racanganan penelitian yang digunakan adalah “The Post-Test Only Control Design”. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kognitif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian untuk kelas eksperimen adalah ( =73,50), dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah = 52,90). Hasil uji normalitas diperoleh x2hitung < x2tabel yaitu 6,77<11,070 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 3,30 < 11,070 untuk kelas kontrol. Hasil uji homogenitas diperoleh Fhitung < Ftabel, yaitu 0,68 < 1,96. Maka data yang diperoleh dikatakan terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan perumusan Uji-t. Hasilnya thitung ­ > ttabel, yaitu 5,00 > 1,68, sehingga hipotesis alternatif (Ha) Terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think-Pair-Share (TPS) Terhadap Kemampuan Menelaah Unsur Kebahasaan Teks Biografi Siswa Kelas VIII MTs. Al-Muslihun NW Menseh Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan sejauh mana manajemen strategis kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan prestasi olimpiade siswa di SMA Unggulan CT Foundation Deli Serdang. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 66 orang, masing-masing 19 guru pembimbing olimpiade dan 47 siswa olimpiade dengan 9 bidang keilmuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan program-program unggulan untuk meningkatkan prestasi olimpiade sains siswa sebagian besar dilakukan oleh kepala divisi dan seluruh guru pembimbing olimpiade yang dibentuk dalam rapat penyusunan rencana strategis, (2) program-program yang sudah dilakukan oleh pihak-pihak terkait untuk meningkatkan prestasi olimpiade sains siswa sudah sangat baik, yaitu mulai melaksanakan proses seleksi siswa olimpiade, menyusun jadwal dan mengkoordinir pelaksanaan klub minat bakat olimpiade, memantau perkembangan akademik siswa olimpiade, hingga membuat evaluasi mengenai pelaksanaan olimpiade dan memberikan laporan berkala setiap minggu kepada wakil kepala sekolah, (3) pelaksanaan program sekolah membutuhkan peran serta warga sekolah dan pihak terkait, baik internal maupun eksternal, dan (4) prestasi belajar siswa berupa perolehan medali dan penghargaan lainnya sebagai hasil bahan evaluasi dan pemberian nutrisi dan rekreasi sebagai bentuk apresiasi dari sekolah.

Abstract

This research was primarily conducted to find out the total amount of grammatical errors and to analyze kinds of morphological and syntactical errors made by the fifth semester students of English Language Education Study Program of Catholic University of Saint Thomas in the Academic Year of 2018/2019 in their English compositions. There are 22 students as the research subject of the study. The writers collected the data by asking the students to write down an English composition entitled My Unforgettable Experience. The grammatical errors made by the students were analyzed based on linguistic category taxonomy (morphological and syntactical errors) proposed by Dulay et al (1982). Based on the data analysis, it was found that there are 400 grammatical errors altogether (277 morphological errors and 123 syntactical errors) made by the research subject in their English compositions. In morphological errors, the students dominantly made errors in past tense, namely 247 errors (89.2%). Next, the students made 14 errors in definite article (5.0%), 10 errors in third singular verb (3.6%), 2 errors in comparative adjective/adverb (0.7%), 2 errors in regular/irregular verbs (0.7%), 1 error in possessive case (0.4%), and 1 error in past participle (0.4%). In syntactical errors, the students dominantly made errors in transformation, namely 42 errors (34.15%). Next, the students made 30 errors in verb construction (24.39%), 25 errors in word order (20.33%), 24 errors in verb phrase (19.51%), and 2 errors in noun phrase (1.62%). It is advisable that the students had better master English grammar very well and need to equip themselves with at least a number of fundamental abilities such as how to use punctuations and construct simple sentences in the English language correctly, and the English teachers/lecturers had better explain English grammar and teach how to construct simple sentences in the English language correctly. Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) Is there an influence on the development of Adobe-Flash multimedia programs on the ability of students to improve vocabulary skills in English For Tourism courses ?. (2) What percentage of the influence of the development of multimedia programs on the ability of students to improve vocabulary skills in English For Tourism courses? This research is an experimental research. The program implementation technique for this research is a preliminary test used to measure students' vocabulary abilities of the material being taught while the final test is carried out to determine student learning outcomes after being treated using Multimedia-based Object-Oriented Programming (Adobe-Flash) learning methods in the eyes English for Tourism lecture. Abstract

Toba in terms of kinds, functions and positions. The data were taken from the Holy Bible written on Matthew’s book Chapter 1-28 with English and Bahasa Batak Toba Version. The question words found there were contrasted to see the similarities and differences. The research findings showed that English has nine types of question words, they are: Who, This study is about the similarities and differences of question words in English and Bahasa Batak Whom, What, Where, When, Why, How, Which, and Whose. While in Bahasa Batak Toba, there are eleven types of question words, they are Aha, Ise, Boha, Dia, Andigan, Nandigan, Piga, Sadia, Boasa, Mahua, and Marhua. In terms of functions, Both English and BahasaBatak Toba’s question words are used to ask for person, place, time, thing, reason, manner, activity, and possession. The position of English question words occurred at the beginning or in the middle of an interrogative sentence, while Bahasa Batak Toba’s question words take place at the beginning,in the middle, and at the end of interrogative sentences.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of Guidance Christian religious education teacher on interest in learning of grade ten public senior high school Lumban Julu 2014/2015 ”. The research method used is quantitative research aims to study the effect of two variables, while the analysis used is to test the correlation hypothesis, namely the Product Moment and the tools used in data collection are to run a closed questionnaire. To determine whether there is the effect of Guidance Christian religious education teacher (X) on interest in learning (Y) of grade ten public senior high school Lumban Julu 2014/2015. the results result of this reseach shows that t = 5.593. To find out the correlation coefficient at a significant level of 5% where the t-table is 0.361, the t-test is used with the criteria t-count> t-table, so the hypothesis is accepted. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained that t = 5.593 turned out to be greater than t-table 0.361 (5.593> 0.361), thus the hypothesis is accepted. So it can be argued that, "There is an effect of guidance Christian religious education teacher on interest in learning of grade ten public senior hight school Lumban Julu 2014/2015.
