Abstract

This study aims to describe the attractiveness of Islamic boarding schools as the primary choice of the people of Central Lombok in child education, which is focused on the management of the Islamic Boarding Schools and the reasons people choose the Ponpes. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study design, while the data analysis used interactive methods from Miles & Huberman. From the results and discussion of the research, it can be concluded that (1) The attractiveness of Islamic boarding schools is due, first, to the superior programs of Islamic boarding schools in the fields of Islamic religious education and general education; second, skilled students in foreign languages (Arabic-English); third, the availability of adequate and modern enough facilities and infrastructure, (2) the reason the community chose the Yanmu NW Praya Islamic boarding school was because; first, the cutting down of mutually beneficial social and religious relations between Ponpes and stakeholders or the community; second, the boarding school conveys and displays the achievements of the santriwan / wati to the community as a form of responsibility to the community, especially the guardians of students in various activities, both outside and inside the Ponpes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Behavioristic Homework Techniques on the Independence of Students of SMP Negeri 1 Brang Ene. This research is an experimental study using a one grouf pretest and posttest design. The method used to obtain data in this study was a questionnaire method as the main method. The data analysis used in this research is statistical analysis with the t-test formula. The results of data analysis obtained in this study are the tcount value of 6.957 and the ttable value of 2.056 at a significance level of 5%. Thus there is an effect of behavioristic homework techniques on the independence of students of SMP Negeri 1 Brang Ene, West Sumbawa Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning achievement in fifth grade students of SDN 39 Cakranegara by using the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning model. This research method uses classroom action research (PTK). This research was conducted in 2 cycles based on the material divided into two, namely understanding the properties and simple building nets and calculating the volume of cubes and blocks. The subjects of this classroom action research were students of class V SDN 39 Cakranegara with a total of 28 students, consisting of 15 male students and 13 female students. This research instrument uses; observation sheets for teachers, observation sheets for students, student response questionnaires, field note formats, student worksheets, and final cycle test question sheets. Data analysis in this study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study are efforts to improve student learning outcomes with the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) Model Learning method, which has been able to improve student learning outcomes. This increase occurred in cycle I and cycle II with evidence of an increase in: (1) Implementation of learning mathematical concepts in building materials using the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning model, in class V SDN 39 cakranegara proved to be able to improve student understanding, this is based on the results of observations on student activity and if the percentage of pre-cycle is 12.90%, cycle 1 is 29.03%, in cycle 2 it increases again to 90.32%. (2) The use of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) learning model, in learning to build a room in class V SDN39 Cakranegara, is proven to improve student learning outcomes, this can be seen from the acquisition of class average scores from student test results at each stage of the cycle. The increase is, the class average value in pre-cycle is 50, in cycle I is 60.70 and in cycle II is 75.35.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce multimedia Islamic Studies learning materials for prayer procedures that are suitable for use for grade II elementary school students in terms of material, learning, display and programming aspects; (2) knowing student responses; and (3) knowing its effectiveness in learning. This research is research and development (R&D) which includes the following stages: (1) needs analysis, (2) learning design, (3) product development, and (4) evaluation. The subjects in this study were 29 grade II students of SD Negeri Samirono, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The results of the study are as follows. (1) The multimedia product of PAI learning, this prayer procedure material is feasible or valid. The assessment of multimedia learning from the aspects of material, learning, display and programming is categorized as very good. (2) Student response to multimedia that was developed was very good. (3) The effectiveness of the developed learning multimedia is in the "high" category. These results indicate that the developed multimedia learning Islamic religious education materials for prayer procedures can be used as a teaching material in the learning process of Islamic religious education in grade II of elementary schools.

Abstract

Improving the quality of schools is a must for every educational institution in order to maintain the existence of the institution on an ongoing basis. One of the elements that plays a role in efforts to improve the quality is the school library as a source of information and publications in the form of books, magazines, reports, scientific papers, audio visuals, films, slides, VCDs, DVDs, cassettes and so on. The school library is a very important provider of information for school residents, especially reading materials related to the learning and teaching process, the more references available in the library, the better the quality of learning that occurs. Another thing that must be considered is library management starting from planning, organizing, structuring, recording, book classification, and library funding which is carried out effectively and efficiently. Along with the times, libraries as a support and support for improving the quality of schools, libraries should be equipped with technology such as computers and internet networks (wi-fi), which aim that students, teachers and school stakeholders can enjoy or facilitate access to reading materials. online around the school environment without having to be in the library building. In accordance with what has been described above, improving the quality of the school will be achieved if the goals and benefits of the library have been used optimally.
