Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between popular personality and assertive behavior of SMAN 2 Pujut Central of Lombok in Academic Year 2019/2020. The population in this study were all students of SMAN 2 Pujut totaling 360 students. The sampling technique uses population research techniques. Data collection techniques in this study used the questionnaire method as the main method while observation, interviews, and documentation as a complementary method. The analysis technique in this study uses the Product Moment Correlation formula. The results of this study obtained r count greater than r table (0.989> 0.233) then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted at the 5% significance level. The conclusion in this study is there is a relationship between popular personality and assertive behavior of SMAN 2 Pujut in Academic Year 2019/2020, then the results of this study are significant.

Abstract

With good teacher performance, a quality teaching-learning process will be created. To form a teacher who has good performance, it is needed a Principal who is able to apply his leadership style according to the situation and different levels of ability and experience of the teacher. With the suitability of the Principal's leadership style with the situational, will create a good interpersonal communication between the teacher. By using the classroom action research method to determine the relationship of the teacher leadership style, and communication to the teacher's performance the results are obtained: (a) There is a positive relationship between the Principal's Leadership Style and the teacher's performance at SD DDI Tolai Torue. This is evident from the results of the first hypothesis test with product moment correlation analysis which obtains the price rx1y> rtable (50; 0.01)> rtable (50; 0.05) = 0.472> 0.361> 0.279. (b) There is a positive relationship between Teacher's Interpersonal Communication with Teacher Performance in Tolai Torue DDI Elementary School. This is evident from the results of the second hypothesis test with product moment correlation analysis that obtained rx1y> rtable (50; 0.01)> rtable (50; 0.05) = 0.418> 0.361> 0.279, (c) There is a positive relationship between Leadership Styles Principal and Interpersonal Communication Teachers with Teacher Performance at SD DDI Tolai Torue. This is evident from the results of hypothesis testing with regression analysis of two predictors that obtain Freg> Ftable (2; 47; 0.01)> Ftable (2; 47; 0.05) = 0.913> 5.08> 3.21. (D ) The Principal Leadership Style Variable contributes 59.2% relative and 17.6% effective contribution. While the variable Interpersonal Communication Teachers made a relative contribution of 40.8% and an effective contribution of 12.1%. So it can be seen that the Principal's Leadership Style has a closer relationship with Teacher Performance compared to Teacher Interpersonal Communication variables.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activity and learning achievement of VIII-4 grade students of SMPN 1 Gangga in learning straight line equation material for the 2019/2020 school year. Activities and student achievement in mathematics are very low, especially in grades VIII-4. For this reason,learning requires a learning model that can increase student creativity in solving problems so that it has an impact on increasing student activity and learning achievement. One such model is the Creative Problem Solving learning model. This Creative Problem Solving model is applied in this study to achieve the expected goals. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. The results obtained after applying the CreativeProblem Solving model were in the first cycle students 'activity scores 12 and 14 with an average score of 56.03 and completeness learning 48.28%, in the second cycle students' activity scores 16, 17 and 17with an average score of 61.59 and mastery learning 65.52%, and in cycle III the score of student activity 16 and 18 with an average score of 69.89 and mastery learning 86.21%. An increase in studentactivity scores at each meeting for each cycle. While the average score of student learning evaluation results also increased in each cycle. Thus the Creative Problem Solving model increases the activityand learning achievement of students in class VIII-4 of SMPN 1 Gangga in learning straight line equation material for the 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

The success of learning objectives is determined by many factors including the factor of the teacher in implementing the teaching and learning process, because the teacher can directly influence, foster and improve students' intelligence and skills. The teacher's role is very important and it is hoped that the teacher has a good teaching method / model and is able to choose the right learning model that is in accordance with the concepts of the subject to be delivered. This research uses action research as much as three rounds. Each round consists of four stages: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The targets of this study were Grade VI students of SDN I Watuawu, Lage Subdistrict, Poso Regency. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analyst found that student achievement has increased from cycle I to cycle III namely, cycle I (67.57%), cycle II (78.38%), cycle III (89.19%). The conclusion of this study is that the discovery method can positively influence the motivation to learn at SDN I Watuawu Lage Subdistrict, Poso District, and this learning method can be used as an alternative learning of Science.

Abstract

This study aims to increase student motivation through group counseling services in class XII-IIS-1 SMA Negeri 1 Pujut. This research method uses Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK). Based on the results of research and discussion of the results of analysis of teacher observation data, student activities and the results of the evaluation of group motivation services learning motivation cycle I and cycle II can be concluded as follows. In cycle I the activities of the teacher as many as 13 are categorized as good, because it is located at an interval of 11 ≤ Ag <15. While the score of the teacher's activity group guidance activities in the second cycle of 14, can be categorized as good, because it is located at an interval of 11 ≤ Ag <15. While the activities students in group guidance activities in the first cycle of 52, obtained from the total score on each indicator. Based on the criteria for student activity, student activity in cycle I can be categorized active, because it is located at an interval of 41 ≤ As <60. While student activity in cycle II of 53 can be categorized very active, because it is located at an interval of 41 ≤ As <60. Based on the results of data analysis the implementation of actions in the first cycle showed that the percentage of learning motivation was 20%, low by 40% and learning motivation in the very low category of 40%. While based on the results of the analysis of the second cycle obtained students have very high learning motivation of 10%, high by 50% and moderate learning motivation by 10% and low by 10%, so based on the results of the second cycle has reached the indicators of success of the research that has been set.

Abstract

Many obstacles faced in the implementation of Islamic religious education teaching, including (a) teacher factors that still use the old way (traditional) in the learning process. The teacher is fixated on the cognitive field so the assignments given to children far exceed their abilities; (b) discrepancy in curriculum content, objectives, methods and evaluation. The result is a decrease in the quality of teaching Islamic religious education; (c) the Teaching Program Outlines are not explicitly stated about the sequence of assignments that modify the teaching substance, the content of the material, facilities, learning tools and infrastructure. The subjects used in this study were fourth grade students in Malei Tojo Elementary School, West Tojo District. The method in this study uses the method of observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires with a sample involving 12 respondents. Then with the mean and product moment correlation formula. The effect of the Peer Lesson learning strategy can be said to have a positive influence. This is evident from those obtained by using product moment with an average of 0.566. When consulted with a significant table of 5% and 1%, it can be seen that the value of "r" of the research results is greater than the value of "r" contained in the product moment table and when consulted with the interpretation table "r" the level of influence of learning strategies (developmentally appropriate practice) on the success of Islamic religious education learning proved sufficient or moderate. Because the value of 0.566 results of research are among the calculations of 0.40 - 0.70 which means the category is moderate or sufficient.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes by implementing Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review (SQ3R) learning methods in an effort to improve science learning outcomes on the subject matter of material classification and changes in grades VII-4 of SMP Negeri 1 Pujut. The research method uses classroom action research methods which consist of 2 action cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages including planning, implementation, observing the results of actions, and reflection. The number of students 31 students consisted of 17 male students and 14 female students. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes. This increase can be seen from the classical completeness obtained in the first cycle that is equal to 67.74% and the second cycle increased to 90.32% with an increase of 22.58%. This increase can also be seen from the observations of the activities of the first cycle teacher of 13 with a good category at an increase to 17 with a very good category in the second cycle. Whereas student activity in cycle I was 50 with active categories, increasing to 67 with very active categories in cycle II.

Abstract

One of the efforts to improve Indonesian language learning achievement for fourth grade students in elementary school is by applying the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are differences in learning achievement between students whose learning uses the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. The study design used a pretest-posttest control group design experiment. The population is grade IV students of SDN 2 Uebone Bulan Ampana Tete District. The method of collecting data through tests, before the treatment of each group was given a pretest and after the treatment was given a posttest. From the results of the analysis prove that there are significant differences in the achievement of Indonesian language learning students who are taught using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model. There was also a significant difference in the learning achievement of students who were taught using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model. From the results of the analysis of this study it was concluded that the best learning model is the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model.

Abstract

The study aims to increase the understanding of gene concepts and inheritance by providing a more concrete representation of the genes. The design of this research uses the quantitative approach of experimentation. Subjects and objects of study are students of grade IX-5 SMP Negeri 1 Gangga, amounting to 29 not one person until a total of 28 people. This Piplas educational tool is very simple because it only makes use of plastic pipettes used by ice-drinking students. Usually plastic pipettes are used for crafting, but are used to provide a concrete representation of the genes. The results showed that most students are easier to understand the concept of genes, capable of making crosses easily so as to improve learning outcomes. Tests were given before learning obtained an average value of 30.79 and after learning obtained an average value of 69.4 an increase of 125.4%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of students who consider that social studies subjects are boring and unattractive subjects, so that they can influence student learning outcomes. In this study, researchers tried to use visual media to overcome these problems because visual media is a good motivational tool and can stimulate students to pay attention to the material being explained. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research, which in its implementation has four stages namely, planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study in the form of tests, observations, interviews, and field notes. The results of research using visual media went well and smoothly. This can be stated by an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle carried out. Where in the pre-test only 37.9% of students who successfully met the graduation standard, entered the criteria "Very lacking". At the end of the first cycle test, the students' grades increased, students who successfully met the graduation standard was 75%, entering the criteria of "Good". and increased again in cycle 2 which is 90.7%, included in the criteria of "Very Good".
