Abstract

This study aims to improve reading comprehension skills of SMA Negeri 1 Kebomas students through extensive reading. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The sample of this research was students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri I Kebomas. The research instrument used tests, observations, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique of this research is using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student reading comprehension learning outcomes as evidenced by an increase in test results during the study.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of the model of learning science society technology to the learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 3 Batukliang. This research uses experimental methods. The sample in this study were 24 students of class VIIIC. This research data collection using tests, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis technique of this study used the t-test. These results indicate that the value t count bigger than t-table at significance level of 5% with db = 24-1 = 23 (7.768> 2,069), so this research can be concluded that there is influence of science learning model community technology on learning outcomes students in biology class VIII at SMP Negeri 3 Batukliang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Agrabinta Cianjur, yang dikarenakan kurang kreatifnya guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penulis mencoba menggunakan media aplikasi duolingo dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa kelas VII dengan metode drill. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 22 orang. Jenis tindakan yang diterapkan adalah penggunaan media aplikasi duolingo yang mengusung kegiatan belajar samabil bermain. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media aplikasi duolingo dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Agrabinta Cianjur. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan siswa dalam penguasaan kosakata aspek mengartikan kata pada siklus II ini mencapai 91% dibandingkan dengan saat siklus I, yang hanya mencapai 55%. Peningkatan yang diperoleh sekitar 36%; Pada aspek membaca pada siklus II ini mencapai 100%, dibandingkan dengan saat siklus I, yang hanya mencapai 82%. Peningkatan yang diperoleh sekitar 18%. Dan aspek menulis pada siklus II ini mencapai 95,5%, dibandingkan dengan saat siklus I, yang hanya menyampai 72,7%. Peningkatan yang diperoleh sekitar 23,3%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes of Audio Video System Planning and Installation by applying the Team Games Tournament learning model in class XI TAV 1 SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK), using the Kemmis & McTaggart research model which consists of four stages: planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The four stages are carried out in two cycles. The subjects in this study were 33 people in class XI TAV 1. The instrument used was a test of learning outcomes and student observation sheet instruments. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the application of the Team Games Tournament learning model could improve student learning outcomes. This is evident from the increasing learning outcomes of students. Of the 33 students the initial test results with an average score of 47.15 with learning completeness as many as 6 students with a percentage of 18.18%, while what is expected is that 85% of all students achieve the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) with a value of ≥75. Then the learning outcomes increased by 30.30% in the learning outcomes of the first cycle test after applying the Team Games Tournament learning model, with an average value of 57.15, namely 16 students with a percentage of 48.48% learning completeness. In the second cycle test results increased 42.43% from cycle I, with an average score of students reaching 78.82, namely the completeness of learning as many as 30 students with a percentage of 90.91%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that of the 33 students, more than 85% have completed their studies in the subject of Planning and Installation of Audio Video Systems with the KKM standard, namely 75.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the activeness and learning outcomes of students through the Wide Game learning model in economic activity material. This research method using descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 31 students of class VIID SMP Negeri 13 Tegal. The research instrument used a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the activeness and learning outcomes of students through the Wide Game learning model in economic activity material. This is evidenced by the data in the first cycle with an average value of 70.97 and those who completed 58.04% increased the average value of 81.23 and those who completed were 87.10% in the second cycle. This increase is also accompanied by changes in behavior, students are more active, and respect others in doing tasks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the increase in motivation and student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian using schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application. This research method used quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of class VIII A as the experimental class implementing Distance Learning with schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application and class VIII B as the control class without using schoology media. Data collection techniques with knowledge competency tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research was quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the competence of news text knowledge in the experimental class using schoology media is better than without using schoology media. The average learning outcomes obtained were 81, the average N-gain obtained was 0.72 in good category. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

This study aimed to describing the portrait of freedom of learning through Zoom collaboration with the WA Group in the New Normal era in class X TKJ 1 SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. This research method used descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students totaling 35 people. The research instrument used observation, tests, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the motivation and learning activities of class X TKJ 1 SMK Negeri 4 Gowa students during the new Normal period with the learning process through the collaboration of Zoom with the WA Group are in a positive tendency with a percentage agreeing 41.5% and those who quite agree 42.0 %. From this data it can be concluded that Zoom's collaboration with the WA Group as a portrait of independent learning is the best solution as an alternative method of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the habit of asking students in the learning process through the optimization of group guidance services. This research method uses classroom action research. The research procedure consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting in 3 cycles. The subjects of this study were 10 students of class XI TKJ 2 SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. The research data collection technique used observation and questionnaires. While the data analysis in this study used a qualitative descriptive consisting of data processing, data analysis, and data presentation. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the habits of students in asking through the optimization of group guidance services. The increase in the habit of asking can be seen from the results of observations during the action process in group guidance activities, namely the existence of demands to display questioning behavior, the form of questioning behavior that is displayed is spontaneous, can choose the right time to ask and ask well without offending other people's feelings. As supporting data, to determine the increase in the habit of asking questions is through observations made by counseling teachers and subject teachers as a comparison. The result of the class is that there is an increase in the habit of asking in the learning process gradually from cycles 1, 2 and 3. In cycle 1 the frequency of asking questions is 40%, cycle II is 60% and in cycle III there is 80%. Thus through the optimization of group guidance services can increase the activeness of asking group members in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to improve motivation and mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model for class X-4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Gerung. This research method uses classroom action research. The research subjects were students of class X-4 with a total of 36 students. The research procedure was carried out on a cycle basis. Each cycle consists of planning activities, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting activities. The instruments used to collect research data consisted of tests and observation sheets. The research data were analyzed descriptively by using a percentage to see the trends that occurred in learning activities. The results showed that; (1) the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model can increase student motivation in the teaching and learning process, (2) student motivation shows that in cycle 1 is 75% and an increase in cycle 2 becomes 84.7%; and (3) students' mastery of the learning material also showed satisfactory results, in cycle 1 students achieved 77.8% completeness, while in cycle 2 students achieved 88.9% completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes through the application of the think pair share type of cooperative learning at SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. This research method used classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TKJ1. The research instrument used observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research was qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model can increase activity and learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the increase in student completeness scores from cycle I 41.18% to 85.30% in cycle II and student activity in terms of volunteering to answer questions, working on questions individually, working with group friends increased.
