Abstract

This Best Practice aims to describe the implementation of Madrasah Technopreneur so that it is able to save MAN 2 Kulon Progo. This innovation is backed by the challenges of Madrasah that must be faced namely the low education and economic parents of the students of MAN 2 Kulon Progo, and graduates of Madrasah who choose to work. The strategic step in making Madrasah Technopreneur is to build a joint commitment of stakeholders, revitalization, compose academic script, launch tagline "MANDAKU SIAP", review of legal umbrella, curriculum preparation, revitalization of infrastructure, Management structure, national level skills Madrasah, internship program, MoU, HR Quality Development, production Unit establishment, development of other outputs and evaluation. The result of innovation from the establishment of Madrasah Technopreneur is growing pride in students as well as teachers and employees of Madrasah, loving madrasah and increasing the spirit to always achieve both academic and non academic. This Best practice also positively impacts the results of acceptance of new learners that are increasing year after year. Graduates of Madrasah are also recognized to possess the competence and expertise of technopreneur, madrasah cooperation with industrial institutions, and madrasah to be the Madrasah referral for the national Madrasah.

Abstract

Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) or 2013 curriculum which is arranged by the Madrasah, is one of the devices that should be composed/made by the teacher of the subjects is the Learning Plan (RPP). But in fact the teacher uses RPP that is obtained from the forum MGMP and copypaste from other sources without any changes/adjustments to the situation and condition of the madrasah. One of the reason is the low ability of teachers in drafting RPP. The research aims to improve the teacher's ability to compile RPP-compliant standards through ongoing mentoring. The subject of this research is the teacher of PAI target area in Bantul Regency, semester I, school year 2019/2010. The research method used is school action research/MADRASAH with 2 (two) cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection uses observation/observation methods. From the processing and analysis of data was found that ongoing coaching activities can improve the teacher's ability to compile RPP, proven average teachers ' ability score in the initial conditions (before the lead) was 53.24, on Cycle 1 to 80.62; And in Cycle 2 to 90.22. Upgrading from initial conditions to a final state of 69.45% is a major improvement and it is advisable to use sustainable mentoring to improve the teacher's ability to compile RPP.

Abstract

The quality of education today still looks less satisfying. The size of education quality can be seen from the academic achievement of students, namely the value of exams and the influence of learning outcomes on daily life. The success of education is determined by many factors, among them the teacher factor, the teachers who have skills in the learning process, the ability to choose a learning model that can improve students' learning skills and outcomes. One of the ways teachers can do is to implement a cooperative learning model of TPS type (Think Pair Share). This research was conducted at MIN 1 Yogyakarta. This research is a class action research (PTK). Data analysis results showed that generally students ' absorption of learning materials showed significant improvement. Based on the results of the evaluation, the increased learning ability of students in cycle I reached 70.6 and increased to 80.2 in cycle II. The average daily replay value has also increased to 70.3 and becomes 83.5 after the implementation of the TPS type Cooperative learning. This indicates that the implementation of the TPS type Cooperative learning can improve the student's learning outcomes.

Abstract

This article aims to improve the understanding of DC electrical material by utilizing the PhET circuit-construction-kit-DC application. Learning activities using the Smartloop method and the utilization of virtual labs to facilitate students to solve the problem of electrical circuit material on the law II Kirchoff, more specifically in the closed circuit two loops that the way of completion is very complex with mathematical counts. From the experience of teaching students in the class XII IPA beginning in the school year 2018/2019 received positive note: 1) DC Electrical Learning assisted by PhET applications can be done through online or offline utilization of the Phet circuit-construction-kit-DC application supported by the Smartloop method, makes solving DC electrical problems easier and simpler; 2) The presentation of learning becomes more meaningful, the use of the Phet circuit-construction-Kit-DC application with the Smartloop method continues to prioritize the mastery of basic concepts, follow the rules/Use the principles or agreements that have been prevalent, and use reasoning. The results showed: a) students are more enthusiastic about learning, with indications of students eager to teach their peers who still do not understand the learning process in class and have fun lingering in front of the monitor screen; b) Students are more confident with the learning outcomes, because they can match the results using the usual process and how smartloop and the use of PhET circuit-construction-kit-DC; c) Better learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the competency of PAI teachers in the building in drafting the proposal of class action research in Sleman Regency through structured coaching. The subject of research is 9 teachers of junior high School from 3 sub-district, Kalasan Sub-district, Berbah subdistrict and Prambanan subdistrict. The research was conducted for 3 (three) months that may until July 2017, conducted with 2 (two) cycles. The results showed that the understanding of each component of the PTK proposal in cycle I 56.24 on cycle II increased to 83.6. The process assessment score of the 4 stage structured Coaching cycle I amounted to 40.97, on the II cycle increased to 86.8. The result of Cycle I poll is 64.7, in cycle II to 83.6. This demonstrates structured coaching can improve the competency and understanding of teachers in drafting PTK proposals.

Abstract

The weak teacher's competence in understanding learning models is an early cause of student achievement in the mastery of teaching materials. A weak symptom of the teacher's understanding of the learning model at MTs Muhammadiyah Karangkajen in understanding the learning model was found after the academic supervision of one semester in the first semester of lesson 2019/2020. This research aims to determine the extent to which the professional improvement of teachers through small discussion in understanding and implementing cooperative learning models in order to improve student learning achievement. This research using the method of study of Madrasah (PTS) is conducted in 2 cycles. Improved teacher competence in understanding and implementing cooperative learning models achieve satisfactory results. From a pre 41.43% cycle, it becomes 71.43% on the I cycle, and can increase to 80.33% in the II cycle. The results of this study show that coaching through academic supervision through small discussion can improve the professionalism and performance of teachers in understanding cooperative learning models with a 80% compensation.

Abstract

The research aims to know: 1) technical coaching in improving the ability of teachers to develop KTSP. 2) Increase the ability of teacher Madrasah in drafting KTSP document 1. The study used the research method of supervisory action with two cycles covering the planning, action, observation and reflection stages. Data is obtained through direct observation at the time the teacher compiled the curriculum and observation of the completed curriculum. The results showed as follows. Firstly, technical coaching was implemented for the teachers of the MI Al Islam curriculum Drafting team and the teachers of the MI Al Ihsan curriculum Drafting team separately. Secondly, the ability of the teachers of MI Al Islam in drafting the KTSP before technical coaching reaches a score of 41 or 51.25% admission criteria underprivileged, and MI Al Ihsan reached a score of 48 or 60% entered criteria quite capable. The ability after the technical coaching cycle I increased 10 points for the teachers of MI Al Islam reached a score of 51 or 63.75% up 12.5% of the entry criteria quite capable, the teachers of MI Al Ihsan up 14 points reached a score of 62 or 77.5% up 17.5% in the able criteria. In Cycle 2 The ability of MI Al Islam teachers in organizing the curriculum up 31 points or 38.75% from the initial state, enter the capable criteria (60-80). The ability of MI Al Ihsan's teachers to develop a curriculum up to 12 points reached an increase of 26 points or 33.5% from the initial state, entered the capable criteria (60-80).

Abstract

Utilization of the Google Form application is done as an alternative action when the supervisor of Madrasah encountered several obstacles in the field relating to the area and the number of building Madrasah. The ease of the Google Form application for daily activities is: 1) real-time distribution and tabulation; 2) Real time collaboration; 3) secure; Storing important files or school assignments is not afraid of lost or damaged or exposed to viruses. Google Form is also an easy-to-use application even for beginners, free (free to pay), usually the data results are presented in an Excel file so it is easy to use and a fairly lightweight program. Utilization of the Google Form application in assisting the oversight of the madrasah to be effective and efficient can be described as follows; 1) Facilitate the supervisors to collect data without having to meet the speakers directly, especially for speakers who are away from the location of supervision activities; 2) for the necessary data of the activity or administration report that does not require the presence of a supervisor in the field, then data retrieval through instruments created by Google Form will assist the implementation of the supervisory duties more effective and efficient madrasah. 3) Availability of features available in Google Form such as charts, tables, Excel and others, greatly supports the data needs of the madrasah supervisor.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of the head of Madrasah in improving the quality of education in MTs Negeri 4 Kulon Progo, and to help improve the competency of teachers in the learning activities with a real, measurable, controlled, directional program to achieve learning objectives. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are: 1) supervision of the head of the district of the state of the principal of the school 4 Kulon Progo includes education, managerial, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator; 2) The role of quality improvement is done by increasing the professionalism of teachers by giving opportunities to teachers; 3) Factors affecting the implementation of the head of the Madrasah include: the planning, implementation and follow-up that is carried out continuously to the teachers and education personnel.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the competency of teachers through clinical supervision activities. This research uses action research methods with a lesson study approach, conducted at MI Nurul Ummah. The lesson study conducted through three stages: planning, open learning, and reflection. The results of the research are in good category by fulfilling several indicators, namely 1) Students' learning motivation is increasing and the atmosphere of the class is more conducive, 2) increase in absorption and activity of students in class during study, 3) teachers more open, 4) teachers More motivated to seek out and explore a variety of learning methods or strategies, 5) Teachers learn from each other and cooperate in improving the quality of the teaching process through increased understanding not only about the material, but also Methods, media and learning aids, but also the assessment techniques used in the learning process obtained through the implementation, observation and reflection, 6) The teacher got a lot of enlightenment, apart from the peers, also from the Facilitators are always present to provide support, both when doing plan, do and see (reflection). With the presence of the facilitators, teachers have been increasingly enlightened and motivated to innovate innovations in learning. Lesson study can effectively improve the teacher pedagogical competence. This can be understood because the lesson study approach allows teachers to discuss the problems faced and discuss with other teachers to find solutions to the resolution.
