Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication abilities of teachers and learning achievement students. The study used quantitative research methods conducted in MIN Sleman. The population in this study were students MIN Sleman district in academic year 2013/2014. The sampling technique used was 100 students. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. Methods of data analysis using statistical analysis of the correlation of product moment. The results of this study shows that the achievement of jurisprudence students study subjects MIN Sleman has an average of 81.12. and there are three students who score below 75. The results of this study also indicate that learning achievement subjects of jurisprudence influenced by interpersonal communication skills of teachers. The relationship between the two variables is positive means of mutual support. The higher the interpersonal communication skills of teachers, the higher learning achievement in the subjects of jurisprudence and vice versa if the interpersonal communication skills of teachers lower the learning achievement of jurisprudence subjects will also be lower.

Abstract

This paper intends to answer the question of interests and abilities of students in studying IPS. By utilizing the Bus Market as an arena for learning outside the classroom is one solution that can be used to answer these problems. Besides being able to improve the social skills of students with surrounding communities, utilization Giwangan Market is another form of innovation learning outside the classroom. In social studies, the real community is a large laboratory which should be empowered.

Abstract

The research aims at improving the student's learning achievement in Arabic learning by implementing Singing methode. The subject of this research were students of class VII A that consists of 21 students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Donomulyo Nanggulan Kulon progo during the even semester in academic year of 2014/2015. The data analysis is the quantitative descriptive by counting on the average valve or mean from students’score. The product of this research is control mufrodat, the students class VII A on Arabic Language subject implementing singing method getting increase on the first cycle, students’ activities are categorized enough on 55,04 %, the second cycle increase better 70,87 % and on the third cycle that is categorited good on 81,92%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the professionalism of teachers through methods of lesson study. School action research was conducted three cycles, each cycle consisting of three rounds with the stage of plan, do, and see / reflection. Implementation of clinical supervision with lesson study approach as a learning improvement efforts have shown excellent results. It can be seen in which (1) the students' motivation increases and the classroom atmosphere more conducive so that students can be comfortable in learning, (2) the learning process, the students dared to express / ask questions (visits and discussions and presentations) and the absorption of students to the subject matter increases, (3) the disclosure of the teachers, classrooms are used not closed so that other teachers can see what is done in the learning process are implemented, (4) the motivation of teachers, the teachers are motivated to seek and explore various methods or learning strategies, ( 5) teachers learn from each other and cooperate in improving the quality of the learning process, and (6) the teacher got a lot of enlightenment, apart from peers, as well as from the facilitators that almost every encounter is always present to provide support, both when performing plan (plan), do (execution / implementation), and see (reflection).

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the effectivity of cooperative learning method with Team Games Tournament (TGT) type and Learning Tournament (LT) compared with conventional learning for ability in mathematics problem-solving. The type of this research is pseudo experiment with nonequivalent control group design. Independent variable, which is TGT and LT learning method, and dependent variable, which is capacity in mathematics problem-solving were variables covered in this research. The subject of the research consisted of population of 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Ngemplak and samples were students of class VII A, VII B, and VII C. Pretest and posttest on capacity in mathematics problem-solving were used as the instruments. Data analysis techinque used in this research is Kruskal-Wallis test by using software SPSS 15.0 The result of this research showed that: First, TGT learning method was more effective than conventional learning method for ability in mathematics problem-solving; Second, LT learning method was not more effective than conventional learning method for ability in mathematics problem-solving; Third, TGT learning method was more effective than LT learning method for ability in mathematics problem-solving.

Abstract

This article aims at making and using indicatorpaper from natural materials flower starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L). Indicators are made of filter paper soaked in flower extracts starfruit, and dried. Excellence indicators: easily observed, sparing use, practical, and cheaper. Indicator papers tested in a solution of citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, and sodium chloride. Tests on citric acid showed a bright red color change, sodium carbonate showed blue-green discoloration, and the sodium chloride does not change color. Based on the findings, it was concluded that the interest starfruit can be made indicator in the form of paper, and can be used as an acid-base media lab at the class of 7th of IPA in MTsN Giriloyo.

Abstract

This study aims to increase interest in social studies. By using images media, students in class of 2 MIN Melikan Gunung be pleased to learn IPS and IPS easy to understand the concept, so that social studies is no longer a subject that feels spacious and tough, but being a pleasant subjects. This research was conducted in MIN Melikan, Gunung Kidul, Total students is nine, comprising four boys and five female students. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), with three cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases: planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collected through observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the analysis of the action pre-cycle, the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle, suggesting that the social studies learning by using media images are varied, such as document family form of ID card, driver's license, KK and pictures of family photos, family tree, actually may increase interest in learning IPS, this can be proved by the progress of learning interest pre-cycle excellent 3 excellent 2 students, the first cycle of either 4 excellent 3 students, the second cycle of either 2 excellent 5 students, the third cycle of either 1 splendidly 6 students, the average yield tests pre-cycle, the end of the test the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle is always increasing. Results of preliminary tests first cycle of pre-cycle average 5.33 average test results the end of the first cycle of 7.11, the average yield of the end of the second cycle test 8.00 and the average yield of the end of the third cycle test 9.22. Social studies lesson in class of II MIN Melikan, Gunung Kidul, which was supposed to be broad and boring lessons interesting and fun student.

Abstract

This research is an analytical description of the improvement of teacher competence RA Masyithoh Karanganom through KKG cluster TK in Pleret of Bantul Regency, 2014, which has the aim of knowing about the efforts made to increase the competence of teachers RA masyithoh Karanganom through KKG cluster TK in Pleret. And the factors that influence it, this study is a qualitative research study focused informant to the principal, teachers at RA Masyithoh Karanganom, and chairman of the group KKG TK. The data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained in this study is the effort to increase the competence of teachers RA masyithoh Karanganom through KKG cluster TK in Pleret Bantul in a continuous effort by the teachers and the principal members of KKG TK. Impact on improving the professionalism of teachers in RA Masyitoh Karanganom Pleret Bantul.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the implementation of authentic assessment of curriculum 2013 at MIN Tempel, and inhibiting factors as well as supporting the implementation of authentic assessment of curriculum 2013. With descriptive qualitative research through observation and interviews found that the results of the implementation of authentic assessment of curriculum in 2013 at MIN Tempel yet fully using the instrument according to the procedure authentic assessment. Factors supporting the implementation of the curriculum in 2013 is an authentic assessment decision of the Directorate General of Islamic Education, the madrasas continue the implementation of the curriculum in 2013, while the inhibiting factor is the lack of teachers' understanding of authentic assessment processes and instruments used in authentic assessment.

Abstract

Schools as institutions of formal education is a strategic place for melakukanpembinaan religious experience for students. In this guidance, can not escape the role of the main driving Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in school. This study aims to determine how the duties and functions of the driving role of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK N 3 Kasihan Bantul. This study uses kualitatifdengan approach to data collection techniques such as observation, documentation, and interviews. The results showed that the driving role of PAI diSMK N 3 Kasihan Bantul has not been able to encourage religious activities to the fullest. Board teachers as a driver still is individualized and less attention to the school committee and the idea of the strategic thinking so that school policy has not been able to motivate the religious activities and religious practice for siswa. Coordinating function in the industrialized world in the development cooperation program has not been optimized so that the industry practice in SMK N 3 yet attention to aspects of the practice of PAI.
