Abstract

This study aims to identify and disclose the relationship perceptions about the world of work with students entering the workforce readiness of the Department of Information and Computer Engineering Education Bung Hatta University in Padang. This study population is students of Department of Information and Computer Engineering Education FKIP Bung Hatta University in Padang Year Joined 2012 with a total population of 105 people. The sample in this research amounted to 53 students from the Department PTIK UBH Padang, using the formula Slovin with proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument is structured in the form of questionnaires with Likert scale model, after the tests of validity and reliability, then the data were analyzed using simple linear regression and multiple regression. The results of data analysis showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the perception of the world of work with students entering the workforce readiness PTIK Department UBH Padang, the value of the correlation coefficient of 0.448 with a significant 0.001 <0.05. Based on the findings of this study conclude that the perception of the world of work has an important role on the readiness of students entering the work area of PTIK UBH Padang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and see the effect of student learning facilities, achievement motivation and learning styles of the students’ on learning outcomes on student accounting Expertise SMK Padang City. This research is descriptive and associative. The study population all students of Accounting at SMK Padang numbering 822 people, the number of samples 270 people. The sample technique proportionally stratified random sampling. Data and data sources are primary data in the form of a questionnaire filled by the respondents, as well as secondary data about student learning outcomes obtained from documentation. The test instrument validity and reliability. Analyzed using descriptive and inductive analysis, ie test for normality, homogeneity test and test hypotheses using path analysis, F test and t test. The results showed that: 1) Facilities student learning significantly influence student achievement motivation, 2) Facilities student learning and achievement motivation significantly influence to learning styles of syudents, 3) Facilities student learning, achievement motivation and learning styles have a significant and contribution on students’ learning outcomes in Accounting Expertise SMK Padang

Abstract

Penguasaan terhadap bahasa Inggris terutama keterampilan membaca pada masa sekarang ini, merupakan suatu keharusan bagi setiap individu. Hal ini disebabkan karena dengan membaca setiap orang dapat dengan mudah mengakses dan menyerap berbagai informasi untuk menambah pengetahuan. Rendahnya kemampuan membaca pada siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 1 Kota Solok, mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan mengaplikasikan metode STAD. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus pada siswa kelas 12 jurusan Tehnik Komputer Jaringan (TKJ 1) yang terdiri dari 28 siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan seberapa luas STAD dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa dan faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhinya. Hasil dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) STAD mampu meningkatkan pemahamam membaca siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 1 Kota Solok kelas 12 jurusan TKJ 1, (2) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan pemahamam membaca tersebuat adalah materi yang relevan dengan pengetahuan siswa, media yang sesuai, aktifitas kelas, manajemen kelas, pendekatan mengajar, strategi guru, dan penghargaan yang diberikan guru kepada siswa. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan sumbangan dan masukan bagi guru-guru bahasa Inggris dalam pembelajaran membaca.

Abstract

Learning mathematics at school mostly involving mathematical reasoning abilities. Weakness in the reasoning of students in mathematics learning visible from students' mistakes in solving math problems.Efforts should be made to improve the ability of students' mathematical reasoning can be through the model Problem Based Instrutional (PBI).Problem Based Instructional a learning that begins with the presentation of an authentic and meaningful issues that the students will be able to conduct investigations and menutut solving by the students themselves.So with the model Problem Based Instructional able to assist students in improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities.

Abstract

Biology learning as one of subjects demand the understanding of concept, because in Biology learning, students are faced with abstact feature. Teachers need to lead student through the meaningful of learning. They experienced themselves. As a result, they can apply the knowledge in daily life. Thus, the use of biology learning which oriented constructivism approach is expected to increase students’ activities and learning outcomes. This research is the development of 3-D models (tree D). aims to produce learning modules ninth grade biology-oriented constructivism on the human reproductive system materials are effective. The technique analysis data of this research used validation sheet, practical and effective modules. The Data analysis techniques used in the form of descriptive data, by describing the practicality of using biological learning modules through a constructivsm approach. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the learning module on biology material human reproductive system through a contructivist approach including effective categories consideration in terms of aspects student activities, student motivation, the result of learning.

Abstract

This research aims to design a management model in order to strengthen the capacity and creativity in the organization PKBM. The results of this first phase of research is in the form of a conceptual model that contains elements of management PKBM strengthening the capacity and creativity of the organization based on the diversity of local wisdom. Management model that the researchers expected, namely: 1) Strengthening the management capacity in the sense of empowering managers, both in the context of an individual and as a group. This concept can be done through training, seminars, workshops and the like. 2) Strengthening the capacity of the program carried out in the form of modification programs to be executed, the government and the entire program synergize PKBM components that include: educators, administrative staff, parents /guardians of prospective learners, potential learners, steakholder of business and industry. 3) Strengthening the overall value system by helping the target and make the rules among stakeholders PKBM accordance with local wisdom (local wisdom) each of which may be different between the CLC with each other. 4) Improve the empowerment of CLC through effectiveness and track record of alumni become an important part, it is the first step helps to build networks and partnerships PKBM strong in the future.

Abstract

Reading comprehension of students is still low due to lack of interest and motivation of studentsin reading. Learning reading skills can take advantage of advances in technology with the application of methods through media interesting and effective. The use of attractive and effective method can increase interest and motivation to read. Efforts should be made to improve students' reading comprehension can through computer-based learning.Computer- based learning was conducted using Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) through the production of a CD Interkatif. Through advances in technology, students still know the culture of the nation by giving a discourse with the theme of local wisdom in every rubric magazine packed in the interactive CD.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the activities of students in computer learning accounting accounting class 2 2 SMK Solok based on information technology and communications. This research is a class action research. Subjects of research is students in grade 2 Accounting I SMK 1 Solok learning year 2009/2010 in the third semester, the following study accounting computer as many as 33 students. The object of research is computer lessons accounting are included in a group of subjects productively (accounting expertise package) with the competence of the accounting cycle services company working with the computer through the MYOB accounting program. The results of this study is the use of media-based learning information and communication technology in learning accounting computer can increase the activity of students and also practice at the laboratory computer activity also increased, averaging more than 95% of students work diligently in the tasks given, students have high interest to repeat the steps and accounting procedures that have been described.
