Abstract

The existence of Islam from time to time in fact cannot be separated from the influence of the scholars who struggle in spreading the religion of Islam to all corners of the world. The struggle (jihad) of the scholars is carried out at the expense of life, property, thoughts and everything that can be fought for in order to spread the religion of Islam. It can be said that the ulama were the spearhead of the spread of Islam in the world after the death of the prophets and apostles of Allah. The presence of scholars from every era provides inspirational stories for human beings. In fact, there are certain times that are so fertile that it gives birth to a generation of qualified scholars in various branches of science. All of that can not be separated from the education taught to the younger generation of Islam either in the context of pesantren or otherwise. Therefore, the study of the existence of pesantren or institutions that gave birth to ulama is very important to be discussed. This is intended to measure the contribution of pesantren or other educational institutions in producing ulama.

Abstract

The family is the first place as well as the first institution in education which is often referred to as an informal institution. In the Sisdiknas (national education system) law, it is stated that “informal education is the path of family and environmental education.” On this basis, it is constitutionally proven that the existence of an informal educational path or also known as an educational path in the family becomes a formal legal force.

Abstract

Based on Law no. 20 of 2003 article 3 concerning the National Education System that national education functions to develop capabilities and shape the character and civilization of a dignified nation in the context of educating the nation's life, aiming to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, have noble character. , healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become a democratic and responsible citizen. Integrated Islamic School (SIT) is more dominant in its religious character education. One of the schools that has implemented religious character education through school culture is SMP IT Nurul Ilmi Medan Estate. It can be seen in the vision of this school, namely "Forming a Generation of Superior Muslims who Think, Think and Have Morals". This research was carried out with the aim of describing the implementation of worship value-based learning at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi Medan Estate. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded as the implementation of teacher behavior through worship value-based learning at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi Medan Estate that the physical education component supports the implementation of worship value-based learning at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi Medan Estate

Abstract

Suhrawardi was a philosopher who had a very important influence in the development of Islamic philosophy. The theory of illumination (isyraqi) which is the fruit of Suhrawardi's work has provided a new view in the development treasures of Islamic philosophy which has been dominated by the Paripatetism since before. The birth of the Illumination School (Israqi) is an alternative to the weaknesses that exist in previous philosophies, especially Aristotelian peripatetics. According to Suhrawardi, the peripatetic philosophy which until then was considered the most superior turned out to contain various shortcomings. After seeing how big the influence of the philosophy of illumination in the discourse on the development of Islamic philosophy is, then conducting a study of it in depth and comprehensively becomes a very important thing to do. Therefore in this study will be discussed about; How about Suhrawardi's theory of illumination knowledge? And how did it contribute to the development of Islamic philosophy?

Abstract

The idea of Islamization of science has become an interesting phenomenon lately which has always been a hot topic of discussion among Muslim academics. This is interesting because it responds to the development of modern epistemology which is dominated by non-Islamic Western civilization. By using a library research method with a content analysis approach, all information, whether written or printed in the form of a book, will be elaborated on and understood by the contents of the text in order to answer all the research questions. The results of the study indicate that the speed of dissemination of the development of knowledge institutionally is based on the epistemology of Islamic scholarship, which continues to be studied and critically studied. This shows that Islamic teachings are updated on developments and are able to design the future order of life. Even though at the beginning, the conceptual level was more at the epistemological level where science was described as explained by Al-Faruqi, also Kuntowijoyo and M. Amin Abdullah, but contributed greatly to the grand design of Islamic scholarship, especially in Islamic universities..
