Abstract

Sumber belajar harus berorientasi pada peserta didik. Sumber belajar harus berorientasi pada peserta didik secara individual yang berbeda dengan sumber belajar tradisional (yaitu sumber belajar yang dibuat berdasarkan pada pendekatan yang berorientasi pada guru/lembaga pendidikan). Sumber belajar yang perlu dikembangkan dalam KTSP di sekolah/madrasah antara lain laboratorium, pusat sumber belajar dan perpustakaan serta tenaga pengelola yang professional. Sumber belajar tersebut perlu didayagunakan seoptimal mungkin, dipelihara dan disimpan sebaik-baiknya. Dalam pada itu, kreativitas guru dan peserta didik perlu senantiasa ditingkatkan untuk membuat dan mengembangkan alat-alat pembelajaran serta alat peraga lain yang berguna bagi peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Kreativitas tersebut diperlukan bukan semata-mata karena keterbatasan pemerintah, tetapi adalah kewajiban yang harus melekat pada setiap guru untuk berkreasi, berimprovisasi, berinisiatif dan inovatif.

Abstract

Thinking that is progressive and useful for the general public is very much needed. It is for the sole sake of progress in the community. However, the problems in society are so complex that certain groups want to change. One of the most famous figures in Islam is Nurchalish Madjid, famous for his renewal model. The thoughts of Cak Nur (Nurcholis Madjid) are identical to Islam, Indonesianness and modernity. He was the first character to express this; Saifullah said in Pena Almuslim, "Marriage of Islam, modernity. Nurchalish Madjid first put forward this idea in the era of the 70s, and now it is felt the importance of the idea being actualized in the context of building the nation's character". During the post-independence governance debate that is still unfinished, Nurchalish Madjid and his fellow Islamic thought reformers must come face-to-face to hold their ideas accountable to society and their scholarship.

Abstract

Humans have bodily and physiological functions that are no different from animals. However, cannot equate humans with animals because they have the advantage, namely reason. Ratio, talent to use language or language symbols, ability to laugh, ability to make tools, morality, character and so on are the characteristics that distinguish humans from animals. There are three concepts shown by the Qur'an when talking about humans, namely 1) al-basyar, 2) al-insan, 3). Bani Adam or Zurriyat Adam. Human position can be divided into two, namely (1). As khalifatullah fi al-ardh, (2). As 'Abdullah (servant of Allah). The first position means that humans are substitutes for God on earth. In this case, humans function as rulers and regulators on earth by applying God's laws. As servants of Allah, humans are required to worship and fulfil the function of individual human servants.

Abstract

Awareness of organization with a very high effort and imbued with feelings of nationalism and religion led to developments and a new era in education and teaching. With full awareness, the leaders of the movement tried to change the backwardness of the Indonesian people through the implementation of national education. Their efforts are realized by establishing schools and madrasas with a modern system by adopting a Western education system that teaches general subjects and religious subjects. Evidence of this development is until the birth of Islamic universities in Indonesia. The role of these organizations can be extraordinary, both in the fields of economy, education, politics and in achieving independence for the Indonesian state. We also feel this until now where many Islamic organizations still exist and maintain stability in Indonesia within a government.

Abstract

Science will always follow developments with the progress of science will create various conveniences for humans in life. If science in the context of Islamic epistemology can be achieved through three sources/tools; senses, mind, and heart, so in Western epistemology, scientific knowledge can only be achieved through the senses and reason. Therefore, none of Allah's creatures can achieve perfection and maturity in life without going through a process of science or education. So, simply that science in Islam has distinctive characteristics that are fundamentally different from the sciences developed in the West, both in terms of foundation, source, means, and methodology. In Islam, science has a solid foundation through the Qur'an and Sunnah, sourced from the physical and metaphysical realms, obtained through the senses, reason, and heart/intuitive. The scope of his knowledge is very broad, not only concerning worldly issues, but also related to ukhrawi problems.Science will always follow developments with the progress of science will create various conveniences for humans in life. Abstract

This simple article discusses Modernization of Indonesian Islamic Education: The Experience of Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah, with sub-discussions, namely as follows: a. Philosophy and Typology of Reform; b. Aspects of Modernization of Education: objectives, curriculum, methods, human resources; institutional; c. Contribution and Influence (Al Washliyah Education Statistics on National Education). Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah, in the world of education, one of these large organizations also has a lot of influence and plays a role in the world of education, especially in North Sumatra from kindergarten / RA education to higher education which is known in the field as UNIVA or Al-Washliyah University or also known as UMN (University of the Muslim Archipelago). Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah held many reforms in education regarding aspects of objectives, curriculum, methods, human resources and institutions. Contribution and Influence (Al Washliyah Education Statistics on National Education). With Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah in the modernization of education, this college also contributes a lot to national education.
