Abstract

Ada pepatah mengatakan "Hanya ada satu yang abadi di dunia, yaitu perubahan". Perubahan terjadi pada semua Iini kehidupan. Perkembangan ekonomi dan kemajuan teknologi telah membuktikan adanya perubahan. Didunia arsitektur dan konstruksi, perubahan tren! gaya sebuah karya arsitektur cenderung mengikuti perkembangan ekonomi dan teknologi itu. Kini, kecenderungan tren hunian diprediksikan akan bergeser menuju green architectural concept. Sebuah konsep yang mengarahkan untuk selalu ramah terhadap lingkungan sekitar dan untuk membantu mengurangi dampak global warming yang semakin besar. Green architectural concept menitikberatkan pada perancangan yang sustainable/hemat energi. Hemat energi berarti hemat biaya. Oleh karena itu optimasi terhadap sebuah karya arsitektur baik dari sisi design maupun metode kerja menjadi suatu hal yang patut dipertimbangkan. Value engineering dan inovasi/kreatifitas adalah salah satu teknik optimasi yang bisa dilakukan. Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar memperkenalkan model aplikasi Value engineering khususnya pada hunian menyongsong tren arsitektur hijau pada masa mendatang.

Abstract

The successful of the project doesnâ??t depend on defining of fund only, but it also the available of some equipments, the material and the work method. The most important thing is the organizing, especially it the leadership. The leader should be able to manage his worker in achieving his goal for succeeding the project.The paper is a library research. It uses the inductive approach, basically some leadership literatures are intersected each other which means that the method uses the content of analysis.The research result show that the good leader is always busy in achieving the organization goal. He gives a personal satisfaction to his staffs without sacrificing them. The popular Indonesia leadership comes from our godfather of education (Ki Hajar Dewantoro) said that : (i) ing ngarso sung tulodo, in the front The leader must be a precedent, (ii) ing madyo mangun karso, at the middle, the leader must increase their staffâ?? spirit and tekad, and (iii) tut wuri handayani, at the back the leader must push their staff in other to be dare and responsible.

Abstract

In Balinese society, itâ??s recently been occurred an emotional debate and dispute of argumentation related to the content of Bhisama Kesucian Pura (temple sacred agreement). An assessment is the realistic distance which emerges as an interpretation to Bhisama Kesucian Pura that will be decreased or narrowed. Itâ??s  the critical point thatâ??s possible to be a further discussion centre item and then, advanced questions  are : (i) â??how many ideal quantitative values for the content of Bhisama Kesucian Pura do we convert?â?, (ii) â??could it be 3 (three)  kilometers, 4 (four) kilometers or more?â?. Thatâ??s the continued discourse which can be proposed in the hermeneutic study. And the proposed study seems that the result doesnâ??t contribute the problem solving but it could be to emphasize on the emerging problem analysis. By a few refining on the analysis, itâ??s proposed to the next study process.  Analytic scheme of thinking in the study is a deductive nature thatâ??s   hypothetically-tentatively looking for the logic & ethic meaning on the content of Bhisama Kesucian Pura. Itâ??s said an hypothetic term because the truth (regarding the content of Bhisama Kesucian Pura) still need indeed to be tested its meaning anymore from the reflective thinking process perspective. Itâ??s said to be a deductive term because the early study setting comes from the empiric of non assumption but it derives from humanâ??s thinking or  intellectual capability to try constructing an abstraction and simplification of an idealism of humanâ??s world. And itâ??s said tentative item because the deductive concept is still give a chance to the other value choice that  reflectively needs to be tested by its meaning anymore

Abstract

In daily activities, the term of concrete is familiar enough for everyone as material foe construction of a building. The concrete is used as the main structure of a building, eventhough in the context within the srchitectural minimalist trend, the concrete usage is very high frecuency. On the other hand, many people donâ??t understand what the concrete is and how the quality related to the requrement of the construction and the building codesThe article is a content of analysis of some referent literature regarding the requirement of concrete as a material for building construction (such as : the creteria of the aggregate, the mud content, water quality, aggregate gradation and the cement factor)The reseach result show that : (i) the making procedures and concrete quality test are consisted of five steps, ie (a) the main material preparation,(b) the concre mixture planning, (c) the concrete mixture processing, (d) the slump value difinite process and (e) the concrete quality test. (ii) all steps are an integrated processing those have to be passed in gainning the concrete qualiti according to the disire standart.

Abstract

Pulau Bali juga disebut sebagai â??Pulau Seribu Puraâ??. Pura selain merupakan tempat suci Hindu, juga sebagai â??sentra rohaniâ?. Permasalahan yang muncul: Apa saja yang melatarbelakangi perkembangannya dan bagaimana sebaiknya konsep rancangan sebuah pura ke depan? Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah guna lebih dalam mengetahui dan memahami tentang riwayat perkembangan rancangan bangunan suci di Bali. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif interpretatif, dengan menggali sumber-sumber prasasti yang ada. Melakukan studi literatur, serta mewawancarai tetua/penglingsir yang dianggap pakar atau sebagai panutan yang paham akan nilai-nilai dan sejarah tradisi. Khususnya yang menyangkut ikhwal perkembangan bentuk, fungsi, dan nilai-nilai ruang bangunan suci di Bali. Prasasti sering menyebutkan bahwa  gunung dan bukit sebagai sthana para dewa. zaman dulu, tempat â?? tempat tinggi di Bali, di hulu atau di tanah bervibrasi suci, orang-orang membuat suatu bangunan peribadatan, meski sederhana dan sifatnya sementara. Manfaat yang akan diperoleh adalah masyarakat akan menjadi lebih paham perihal riwayat perkembangan bangunan suci di Bali ini. Masyarakat juga akan lebih mengerti dan paham tentang hubungan yang filosofikal antara bentuk-bentuk bangunan suci yang dilahirkan dari satu periode (awal) hingga perkembangannya seperti yang bisa dijumpai saat ini. Kata Kunci: riwayat perkembangan, rancangan bangunan suci, Bali

Abstract

Tulisan ini berawal (terinspirasi) dan kemunculan debat tentang ijin membangun bangunan (IMB) dalam acara sosialisasi Draft Final Evaluasi Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kota Denpasar di Kantor Wali Kota Denpasar.  Diskusi dengan topik yang sama berlanjut pada siaran programa budaya di sebuah stasiun Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI Denpasar) 29 September 2006. Persoalan yang menjadi topik diskusi adalah bagaimana sebuah ijin dapat dikeluakan terkait dengan adanya redaksional dalam perda Tata Ruang Propinsi Bali Tahun 2005 yang berbunyi bahwa ijin bangunan baru dapat dikeluarkan bilamana telah memenuhi sebuah syarat bangunan yang men-citra-kan arsitektur tradisional Bali dan memenuhi prinsip-pnnsip yang tertuang dalam arsitektur tradisional Bali. Para peserta diskusi pada akhimya menyepakati permasalahan utama dalam perijinan ini adalah berpangkal pada masalah style.Sederhana topiknya namun memberi peluang diskusi yang melebar, baknya tanpa batas.
