(4) Asset structure has a negative effect on debt policy. (5) Free cash flow has a positive effect on debt policy. (6) The company's growth has a positive effect on debt policy. (7) Profitability has a negative effect on debt policy. (8) Profitability is able to mediate the effect of asset structure on debt policy. (9) Profitability is able to mediate the effect of free cash flow on debt policy. (10) Profitability is unable to mediate the effect of company growth on debt policy. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of government expenditure in the education sector, human development index, and economic growth on poverty rates in Eastern Indonesia. The research method of this article is quantitative, with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained through the central statistics agency in the form of panel data from 13 provinces in Eastern Indonesia. The results stated that (1) government spending in the education sector did not have a significant effect on Poverty;(2) the human development index has a negative and significant effect on Poverty; (3) economic growth has a negative and significant effect on Poverty. The results of this study imply that direct subsidies or individual subsidies sourced from government spending in the education sector need to be targeted at low-income households. In addition, direct government spending on public services and infrastructure, especially in the welfare, health, and education sectors, is prioritized for low-income households to improve the human development index. This public investment transmission mechanism is one of the Government's efforts to accompany economic conditions towards Poverty and equal income distribution. Thus, it will reduce the poverty rate in Eastern Indonesia.

Abstract

Referring to demographic data, Indonesia's Muslim population currently reaches 229.62 million of Indonesia's total population of 269.6 million, the presence of sharia stocks is certainly an important matter to discuss. There are several Islamic stock indices in Indonesia, one of which is the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). The purpose of the birth of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) is to increase investor confidence, especially Muslim investors, in the shares of companies whose company activities run according to Islamic sharia. Inflation, exchange rates and interest rates are one of the macroeconomic variables that can generally affect stock prices, then profitability is added as an intervening variable. This research is sourced from secondary data obtained from stock exchange sites, Indonesian banks and various other reliable sources. The research method used is the sem-pls method with smartpls 4.0 software to measure the influence of variables either directly or indirectly. Based on the results of the analysis it was found that inflation, exchange rates and interest rates did not have a significant direct effect on stock prices while profitability had a significant direct effect on stock prices, then for a direct effect on profitability it was found that inflation and interest rates had a significant effect on profitability while the exchange rate no effect on profitability. For the indirect effect through the intervening variable, it was found that interest rates have a significant effect on stock prices after being intervened by company profits, while inflation and exchange rates have no significant effect on stock prices after being intervened by company profits.

The data studied is quarterly secondary data (time series) from the first quarter of 2019 to the fourth quarter of 2022 with a total sample of 16 quarters (for each variable), sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Investment and One-Stop Services Office (DPMPTSP). Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, statistical tests and multiple linear regression analysis which were processed using SPSS version 25 software. The results of this study obtained the Stagflation Threat of GRDP Economic Growth with a Sig. 0.990 > 0.05 so it partially has a positive but not significant effect on investment realization. As a result of obstacles to economic performance such as the Covid-19 pandemic. The Threat of Stagflation Inflation obtained Sig. 0.013 <0.05, so partially has a positive and significant effect on investment realization. East Java was able to rise amid rising inflation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of return on assets (X1) and debt to equity ratio (X2) on stock returns (Y) with the analytical method using, multiple linear regression, multiple correlation, determination, t test and F test. The data used in this study is secondary data derived from the IDX30 company's annual report on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. According to the results of the multiple linear regression test, the equation Y = –0.165 + 1.416 X1 – 0.019 X2 is obtained. From the results of the multiple correlation test, the value (R) = 0.374 is in the coefficient interval of 0.20 - 0.399, meaning that there is a low correlation between the variable return on assets (X1) and the debt-to-equity ratio (X2) to stock returns (Y). From the test results of the coefficient of determination, the value of R2 = 0.113 or (11.3%) means that together return on assets (X1) and debt to equity ratio (X2) contribute to stock returns (Y) of R2 0.113 or (11.3%) while 88.7% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. From the results of the t test, the calculated t value of return on assets (X1) is 2.248 with α = 0.028 smaller than α = 0.05 meaning that return on assets (X1) has a significant effect on stock returns (Y). The t value of the debt-to-equity ratio (X2) is -0.572 with α = 0.569 greater than α = 0.05 meaning that the debt-to-equity ratio (X2) has no effect on stock returns (Y). From the test results Fcount is 5.129 with α = 0.009 smaller than α = 0.05 means that Ha is accepted. Then simultaneously return on assets (X1) and debt to equity ratio (X2) have a significant effect on stock returns (Y).

Abstract

The culinary industry in Indonesia, especially in the city of Pekanbaru, will be increasingly competitive every year. With increasingly competitive competition, culinary business actors must change their business orientation from product centric to customer centric, namely not only focusing on serving delicious food but also maintaining customer satisfaction in a holistic manner. Word of Mouth and Brand Image are believed to be able to influence purchasing decisions so as to create customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Word of Mouth and Brand Image on Purchasing Decisions and Consumer Satisfaction in Legendary Culinary in Pekanbaru. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in the study were 112 people who had made purchases at one of the research objects, namely Pondok Patin HM Yunus, Kim Teng Coffee Shop, Paku Onen Ketupat Gulai Shop, and Pak Jenggot's Cendol Ice. Sampling using non-probability sampling method and convenience sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire and was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial-Least Square approach (PLS-SEM). The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the results of the influence of Brand Image (positive) and Word of Mouth (negative) on Decision Purchase. Purchasing decisions have a positive effect on consumer satisfaction and mediate the influence of Word of Mouth and Brand Image on consumer satisfaction with purchasing decisions as an intervening variable. With this research, it is hoped that traditional restaurants will be able to maintain the Generation X market and penetrate the Generation Y and Z markets which are more technologically adaptive.
