Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of price on Lazada online store purchase decisions, analyze the effect of security on Lazada online store purchase decisions, analyze the effect of promotions on Lazada online store purchase decisions, and analyze the effect of price, security, and promotion on online store purchase decisions Lazada This research method is a type of quantitative research. Data sources of this study include primary data and secondary data. The population in this study was the Environmental Society 19 in Tanjung Mulia Subdistrict, Medan Deli District, totaling 950 people. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling and obtained as many as 125 customers. The data analysis technique used is the classic assumption test which includes normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing which includes t test and F test, and coefficient of determination (r2). The results obtained from the t test results obtained t-value of the variable price of -2.668 smaller than the value of t table -1.658, t-value of security variable 13.490 is greater than the value of t table 1.658, and the t-value of the promotion variable 3.428 is greater than the value of t table 1.658. From the F test results obtained Fcount value of 94.732 is greater than the value of Ftable 2.68. From the test results the coefficient of determination obtained by 69.4% of the purchase decision variable is influenced by the price, security and promotion variables, while the remaining 30.6% is explained by the influence of other factors or variables outside the model such as brand image, distribution channels, service quality , and others that are not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Sukuk is one of the most active money market investment instruments to date, which provides opportunities for Muslim and non-Muslim investors to invest. Similarly, corporate Sukuk has opportunities to continue to grow. This study proposes to determine the challenges and strategies in developing corporate Sukuk in Indonesia. The research focuses on three aspects, namely, aspects of supply, demand, and regulatory aspects. Abstract

Rumah Sakit Umum Materna Medan is a health care site that implement health care institutions as well as health education and research. Human resources is a very important role in a company, and therefore companies need to pay attention to the welfare of its employees. One way to compensate. Besides, compensation is also useful to provide motivation to employee for increasimg the performance that gives good results for the company. As for the purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of compensation and leadership to employees performance at Rumah Sakit Umum Materna Medan by indentifying how the data by gender, education, and age as well as the compensation and leadership system imposed company. In completing this thesis, methods of data analysis used is multiple linear regression method to test more than one independent variable. The results of simultameous testing positive impact although the effect is small. While partial compensation and leadership influence on the performance of employees at Rumah Sakit Umum Materna Medan. Rumah Sakit Umum Materna Medan terrain need to improve the system of compensation and leadership to employees to improve performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of leadership style on the performance of the Labuhanbatu Regency DPRD Secretariat staff (2) the effect of work discipline on the performance of the Labuhanbatu Regency DPRD Secretariat survey research with a quantitative approach. The sample of this study was 150 employees of the Labuhanbatu Regency DPRD Secretariat with population sampling techniques. Data collection used questionnaire while data analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis. The validity testing in this study uses a technique using the Canfirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) technique, from the results of the CFA test there are three question items that fall, namely performance question item 6, leadership style 4, and work discipline 6. So out of a total of 22 question items, there are 19 the questions passed the CFA test. At a significant stage 5% of the results of the study found that: (1) leadership style had a positive effect on the performance of the staff of the Secretariat of the Labuhanbatu District Parliament β = 〖0.189〗 ^ * (^ * p <0.005; p = 0.21), with the contribution of the leadership style to employee performance of (〖∆R〗 ^ 2) 0.035. (2) performance discipline has a positive effect on the performance of Labuhanbatu Regency DPRD Secretariat staff β = 〖0.198〗 ^ (*) (^ * p <0.05; p = 0.21), With the contribution of work in stages the employee's performance is 〖(∆R 〗 ^ 2) 0.039. (3) Leadership style and work discipline positively influence the performance of Labuhanbatu Regency DPRD Secretariat staff, which is shown from the results of regression tests that the leadership style β = 〖0.189〗 ^ * (^ * p <0.005; p = 0.021) and work discipline β = 〖0,198〗 ^ (*) (^ * p <0.05; p = 0.21). The contribution of leadership style and work discipline to explain the performance of Labuhanbatu Regency DPRD Secretary employees is (〖∆R〗 ^ 2) 〖0.071〗 ^ *. This means that the ability of leadership style variables and work discipline in explaining variations in performance variables is 7.1%, while the rest is explained by other variables outside the variables studied.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas pelayanan akademik pada Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Manajemenn Sukma Medan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Manajemen Sukma Medan pada bulan April s/d. Juni 2016. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data skunder, yaitu berupa dokumen-dokumen resmi dari Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Manajemen Sukma Medan, berupa kuesioner, observasi, dan hasil tes, sedangkan data sekunder berupa penelusuran referensi baik di pustaka yang sudah dicetak maupun media online. Sampel penelitian ini ditetapkan sebanyak 55 orang dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, metode sampling menggunakan samping aksidental. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi langusng Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Manajemen Sukma Medan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada sampel terpilih dan studi dokumentasi. Kuisioner dibangun dari indikator kualitas pelayanan, yang terdiri dari tangible (fisik), realiable (handal), responsiveness, assurance (jaminan) dan empaty. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara mentabulasi jawaban responden dan mempresantekannya, kemudian menarik kesimpulan dari hasil presentase tabulasi tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa yang menjawab rata-rata setuju sebanyak 64.5% dan rata-rata sangat setuju sebanyak 17.6%, ini menunjukkan bahwa Ruang kuliah bersih dan nyaman, Proses pelayanan KRS, Transkrip, KHS, dll, di akademik cepat, Staff Akademik selalu bersikap rama dan sabar kepada mahasiswa, selain itu Dalam menangani keluhan mahasiswa, akademik bertindak dengan cepat, Permasalahan/keluhan mahasiswa selalu ditangani oleh akademik dan Staff akademik membantu mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan studi. Sedangkan yang menjawab rata-rata kurang setuju sebanyak 13.8%, tidak setuju dan sangat tidak setuju masing-masing sebanyak 2%, ini menunjukkan bahwa Karyawan akademik kurang menjelaskan program-program akademik dengan baik, staff akademik juga dianggap tidak membantu mengatasi kusulitan mahasiswa dan staff Akademik tidak bersikap ramah dan sabar kepada mahasiswa.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to examine the effect of debt to equity ratio, total asset turnover, and sales volume on profitability in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. debt to equity ratio is the ratio chosen from the solvency ratio that can reflect a company's ability to meet all its financial obligations both long-term and short-term. The population of property and real estate companies consists of 48 companies and the number of research samples consists of 27 property and real companies in 2013-2017 determined through the purposive sampling method using certain criteria. The method used in this research is quantitative, the type of research used is descriptive, the nature of this study is causal and the type of data is secondary obtained through the Indonesian stock exchange. This research was conducted with multiple regression analysis and classical assumption test.. The results of this study indicate that the debt to equity ratio has a negative and significant effect on profitability, total assets turnover has a positive and significant effect on profitability and sales volume has a positive and not significant effect on profitability. debt to equity ratio, total asset turnover and sales volume simultaneously influence the profitability of porperty and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013 - 2017

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are currently experiencing quite difficult conditions amid the changing business environment and increasingly intense national or international business competition. MSMEs as one of the supporters of economic growth especially in Indonesia should receive more attention from the government, increasing the MSME sector and reducing poverty are indicators of the success of development specifically for countries with low capita incomes. One obstacle for SMEs is environmental factors, both internal and external environmental factors. Ignorance for MSME actors anticipates changes in the environment and does not have a marketing strategy that causes MSMEs to be less competitive compared to other products. SWOT analysis is an appropriate alternative to help MSMEs determine marketing strategies and anticipate changes in the business environment. Where the SWOT analysis can analyze Strengths, Weaknesses which are part of internal factors in MSMEs and Threats, Opportunities which are part of external factors or competitors. From this research, 4 marketing strategies were obtained for MSMEs to improve competitiveness, namely the MSME S-O Strategy to innovate, make products unique and utilize technology as a promotional and sales media. The W-O Strategy, MSMEs are required to always pay attention to the reluctance of market share and also consumers who demand MSMEs to continue to innovate on product value. S-T strategy, products produced by SMEs should have a characteristic value and provide protection to the product by making their own trademarks. The W-T Strategy, introduces products to areas outside the product cluster and the resulting products are packaged in an innovative way.

Abstract

This paper analyses the impact of Chinese import competition on deindustrialization measured by real value added and employment share in 61 developed and developing countries over 1970-2010 period. By employing quantile regression with instrumental variables to correct potential endogeneity bias, the results suggest that the main driver of deindustrialization in employment in developed countries is technological change. There is heterogeneous effect of China shock. In developed countries, the effect is destructive in term of both employment and real value added in the lower quantile of distribution, with the higher magnitude for the former. In the higher quantile, complementary effect outweighs detrimental impact. In developing countries, the negative effect of China’s shock on real value-added rises as the increase in the proportion of manufacturing value-added in countries. The destructive effect on employment in developing countries seems to be harder after 1990 period.

Abstract

Higher education competition in Medan City is currently developing very rapidly, this can be seen in every university evaluating and changing every side. One of the most prominent things in the evaluation is service to students, an image of a tertiary institution is considered good depending on whether or not the student service is provided to students. A good image of students is a positive value for universities which is a promotional value for the campus. Good service is a service that can know the desires and needs of people who use it. STMIK Budi Darma is one of the Private Universities who participated in evaluating student services in order to compete with other Private Universities. The purpose of this study is to measure student satisfaction with student services using the Facilities and Quality variables influence student satisfaction. This study used 97 respondents from a total population of 2800 people by testing the Multiple Linear Regression Test, Determination Coefficient Test (R2), Partial Test (t test) and Concurrent Test (F Test).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2010 s.d 2012 yang telah memenuhi kriteria. Sifat studi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengujian hipotesis. Jenis investigasi yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kausal. Tingkat intervensi peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah intervensi minimal. Situasi studi dalam penelitian ini adalah tidak diatur. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Horizon waktu dalam penelitian ini adalah data panel seimbang (balanced pooled data), yaitu gabungan dari data time series (antar waktu) dan data cross sectional (antar individu/ruang). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan.
