Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Net Profit, Operating Cash Flow (AKO), Investing Cash Flow (AKI), and Financing Cash Flow (AKP) on Stock Prices of the chemical sector listed on the BEI for the 2016-2020 period with a population of 12 companies and 45 samples for 5 years. The data analysis in this study is a statistical analysis by collecting data through the data testing stage, namely: Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity, Auto-correlation Test, Regression Analysis Method, and Hypothesis Testing Test (partial and simultaneous) using the SPSS 25 software. The results of this study show that Net Income and Investing Cash Flow (AKI) have a significant effect on Stock Prices, meanwhile, Operating Cash Flow (AKO), and Financing Cash Flow (AKP) have no significant effect on Stock Prices. Net Profit, Operating Cash Flow (AKO), Investing Cash Flow (AKI) and Financing Cash Flow (AKP) simultaneously have significant effects on Stock Prices. Abstract

This study aims to determine working capital management as measured by Working Capital Turnover, Cash Turnover, Accounts Receivable Turnover, and Inventory Turnover to assess Return on Investment (ROI) at PT Gudang Garam, Tbk during the 2016–2020 period. This study uses quantitative methods. The results of Working Capital Turnover indicate that the calculation of Working Capital at PT Gudang Garam, Tbk is in "not good" condition. The results of Cash Turnover show that the calculation of cash flow at PT Gudang Garam, Tbk is in "good" condition. The results of Accounts Receivable Turnover indicate that the calculation of receivables at PT Gudang Garam, Tbk is in "good" condition. The results of Inventory Turnover indicate that the inventory at PT Gudang Garam, Tbk is in "not good" condition. The results of the Return on Investment Turnover show that the calculation of Return on Investment at PT Gudang Garam, Tbk is in "not good" condition. Based on the conclusions from the results of the research, the researchers have suggestions for further improving the effectiveness of the company's overall operations. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality and product innovation on consumer purchasing decisions on MS GLOW beauty products in the city of Palembang. The method used in this study are coefficient of correlation, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing using the SPSS22 software program for Windows. The results of the t-test show that there is a partial influence between the variables of product quality and product innovation on purchasing decisions, and the F-test shows a significant effect on the variables of product innovation simultaneously on consumer purchase decisions on MS Glow Beauty products in Palembang. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the independent variables, namely psychological factors, price, and service quality, affect the dependent variable Purchase Decision of Guppies during the COVID-19 pandemic in Solo Raya. This research includes correlational quantitative research, using 97 respondents from consumers who had bought Guppies in Solo Raya. This research uses a multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study concluded that psychological factors, price, and service quality simultaneously affect purchase decisions. Partially, psychological factors and service quality influence purchase decisions, while price does not influence purchasing decisions. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the partial effect of e-service quality (website design, reliability, responsiveness, security/privacy, fulfillment, personalization, information, and empathy) on Grab Application users in Kupang City and (2) the effect of e-service quality (website design, reliability, responsiveness, security/privacy, fulfillment, personalization, information, and empathy) simultaneously on Grab Application users in Kupang City. The number of samples is 100 respondents, and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data was collected using questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive quantitative, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing through t-tests and F-test using the SPSS 26 application. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the respondents gave a very good perception of the e-service quality implemented by Grab. The results of the t-test and F-test show that, partially and simultaneously, e-service quality (website design, reliability, responsiveness, security/privacy, fulfillment, personalization, information, empathy) has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Based on the adjusted R2 value, it shows the contribution of the e-service quality variable to customer satisfaction, which is 89.4%, and 10.6% is influenced by other variables outside the focus of this study. The other variable is efficiency, which can be taken into consideration by further researchers in addition to the existing variables. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design the performance measurement by using the Balanced Scorecard approach at Dr.T.C.Hillers Maumere Hospital. A balanced scorecard helps the hospital achieve strategic targets from four perspectives: internally and externally. The methods that are used in collecting the data are observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the discussion result on four indicators of the Balanced Scorecard at Dr.T.C.Hillers Maumere Hospital shows the result of customer perspective which needs to be measured to increase patient satisfaction and loyalty, the financial perspective needs indicator to raise service revenue and cost control (streamline costs) so it can reach independent finance, internal business process perspective needs measurement to increase service innovation, measurement to increase basis service quality and reference, measurement to increase efficiency and effectiveness of service provision procedure and measurement to increase assets management, and then on growth and learning perspective by doing measurement to increase network technology utilization and quality human resources. Thus, it can be concluded that using the Balanced Scorecard as a performance measuring tool could help the hospital attain long-term success in a competitive market situation. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand how the novel education policy, which is to be implemented in 2025 in Bangladesh, will foster business management opportunities and the probable lessons from the United States. This study conducted a mixed methodology analysis followed by a purposive sampling method. 200 students from primary to higher secondary levels and 20 teachers were selected. We also conducted Four Focus Group Discussions with curriculum experts who were directly involved with developing this method in Bangladesh. An exclusive interview with the President of Hyundai Motors Asia assisted in exploring the context in-depth. The study revealed a positive response from students, ranging from prospective career opportunities to rising interests to implement their acquired knowledge, eradicating the fear of science as well as emphasizing becoming small business entrepreneurs and believing in stimulating business opportunities. Further research is encouraged to assess the impacts of this educational reform in diverse employment sectors in-depth. Keywords: Education Policy; Business Management; Bangladesh; United States

Abstract

This research aims to change the behavior of the farmer groups by increasing business for rural farming communities and increasing family welfare and income by choosing sustainable cocoa farming because sustainable cocoa farmer groups not only plant and harvest cocoa beans but also process the cocoa beans to become several products. Thus, to add economic value from raw goods to finished goods, there must be factors that influence the development of a sustainable chocolate business. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of capital, raw materials, and labor on the business development of the Cocoa Sustainable Farmers Group in Betak Village, Kalidawir District, Tulungagung Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach, which is associative research. The data analysis technique used is the method of statistical analysis using the SPSS program to assist in the process of multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that 1) capital, raw materials, and labor simultaneously had a significant effect on business development; 2) capital partially had a significant effect on business development; 3) raw materials partially had a significant effect on business development; and 4) labor partially had a significant effect on business development. Abstract

The study assesses the roles, duties, and responsibilities of the auditor that led to the so-called audit expectation gap in Nigeria with a focus on the capital market. The objective of the studies is to assess if indeed audit expectation gap in Nigeria exists. The study uses the chi-square distribution to ascertain the argument. It was observed that the collapse of many companies across the world was occasioned by corporate governance failure as most financial statements prepared by these firms were satisfied okay by the auditors but yet the companies later went underground thereby resulting in the audit expectation gap argument. Among other things, the study recommends that the relevant professional bodies should collaborate with auditors and educate the users of financial statements to understand the duties and responsibilities of the auditor towards narrowing it performance gap. Also, audited financial statements should be presented manner that people can read and understand the reports. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of firm size and financial distress on firm value. This research includes this type of associative research. The research population is conventional banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017–2021 period, a total of 42 companies. The sample in this study was 12 companies with a total of 60 observational data points, using a purposive sampling technique. The data used in this research is secondary data. The analysis technique used is quantitative, with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The partial test results show that there is a significant effect of firm size on firm value, and there is a significant effect of financial distress on firm value.
