Abstract

Anemia is a medical condition in which the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin is less than normal. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2016, the target coverage of giving iron tablets for adolescent girls is 30% by 2019. Compliance is the extent to which patient behavior is in accordance with the provisions given by health professionals. Efforts to overcome anemia in adolescents include increasing knowledge to increase compliance with iron tablets. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge of anemia and adherence to consuming blood supplement tablets for female adolescents in SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom. This research method is descriptive quantitative with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were 41 students of class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 who attended SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom with a total of 41 respondents using a purposive technique. The instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate tests. The result of the study was that there was a correlation between knowledge about anemia and adherence to consuming blood-supplemented tablets for girls at SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom with a result of 0.000 (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study is the level of knowledge about anemia in class XI adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom is sufficient. The level of compliance with iron supplement consumption was non-adherent. There is a relationship between knowledge about anemia and compliance with iron supplement consumption.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the effectiveness of the physiotherapy learning method on the critical thinking skills of Widya Dharma Klaten University students, 2) the critical thinking skills of Widya Dharma University students of Physiotherapy, Klaten. The subjects of this study were students of the Widya Dharma Klaten University Physiotherapy study program, with the criteria of students who were active in lectures and had high learning motivation. These students were either male or female who experienced several learning problems, for example lack of focus in attending lectures, difficulty memorizing Latin for certain subjects, for example anatomy. The results of the descriptive analysis of the lowest empiric data for the pre-test were 140 and the highest score was 149, with an average value of 143 and a standard deviation of 3,450. While the results of the descriptive analysis of the lowest empiric data for the posttest were 143 and the highest score was 175, with an average value of 159 and a standard deviation of 11.05. These data indicate an increase in the average value of critical thinking skills among Widya Darma Klaten University students Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a difference in statistical values ​​between the pre-test group (before the learning method is used) and the Post-test group (after being given the learning method). So it can be said that the physiotherapy learning method is effective on students' critical thinking skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant women at BPM Tri Rahayu Setyaningsih. This study used a quantitative design with a cross sectional study design. The sample in this study was taken with a total sampling technique of 59 respondents. The data used secondary data, by analyzing the cohort of pregnant women and classifying the factors associated with the incidence of anemia. Data analysis used Chi Square statistical test. The results showed that the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the third trimester at BPM Tri Rahayu Setyaningsih was 26 people (44.1%). Based on the Chi Square statistical test with a significance level of 0.05, it was found that there was a relationship between pregnancy distance and the incidence of anemia with a p-value. value 0.001, there is a relationship between age and the incidence of anemia with a p-value of 0.018, there is a relationship between the frequency of ANC and the incidence of anemia with a p-value of 0.035, there is a relationship between parity and the incidence of anemia with a p-value of 0.001 and there is a relationship between status nutrition and the incidence of anemia with a p-value of 0.001. The results of logistic regression analysis showed that the factor that most influenced the incidence of anemia in pregnant women was the pregnancy distance OR value of 10.4 (95% CI: 2.35-7.21) which means that the risk pregnancy distance is <2 years and > 10 years are more likely to experience anemia 10.4 times compared to pregnant women whose pregnancy is not at risk (2-10 years).

Abstract

The age of toddlers is a period of child development, so it is necessary to pay attention to their nutritional needs. Based on reports from 35 districts / cities in Central Java Province, the number of cases of malnutrition with an indicator of body weight for height in Central Java in 2015 was 922 cases. Nutritional imbalances in children greatly affect the child's development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and development of children aged 3-5 years in Lemahireng Village, Pedan District, Klaten Regency in 2018. This research method using correlational analytic survey method with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all children under five in Lemahireng Village, amounting to 106 children. The sample in this study was 34 children. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank (Rho) correlation test. The results showed that the nutritional status with the development of children aged 3 - 5 years in Lemahireng Village was p value = 0.001 (p <0.05), so that Ho was rejected. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between nutritional status and the development of children aged 3-5 years in Lemahireng Village, Pedan District, Klaten Regency. It is suggested that parents can provide stimulation from an early age to children and further increase their knowledge about child development by consulting health workers and providing balanced nutrition because it is very important for children's development.

Abstract

The formation of the moral of a child who is in a period of development is influenced by the stimuli it receives. Whether or not a child's morale is influenced by the positives and negatives of the stimulus. The role of family, school and play environment is considered very influential in shaping children's morale. Parenting is closely related to children's moral development because parenting is a process of interaction between father and mother and child. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting and moral development of children in SD N 3 Buntalan, Klaten Tengah, Klaten. This research method is descriptive correlational with cross sectional approach. The number of samples is 33 respondents with total sampling technique. The instrument used is the PAQ questionnaire for parenting and DIT for moral development. Data analysis using Kendall tau test. The results showed that the majority of parenting styles are democratic as many as 21 respondents (63.6%) and the moral development of children is conventional as many as 21 respondents (63.6%), p value 0.025 (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between parenting styles with children's moral development in SD N 3 Buntalan, Klaten Tengah, Klaten. Suggestions for parents are expected to be able to apply democratic parenting that is not too hard and does not impose their will on their children.

Abstract

The puerperium (puerperium) is the period after the discharge of the placenta until the reproductive organs recover like before pregnancy and normally the postpartum period lasts for 6 weeks or 40 days. Problems in breastfeeding include mastitis, breast abscess, breast milk dams, blisters Inward nipple, swollen breasts, blocked ducts, irritated nipples and the baby refuses to feed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of endiorpine massage on the smooth production of breast milk in postpartum mothers at PKU Muhammadiyah Delanggu Hospital. The research method used is quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. Quasy-experimental research design with pre-post-test design was non equivalent with control group design. The population in this study were all post-partum mothers in PKU Muhammadiyah Delanggu Hospital, amounting to 174 people. The research sample was taken by 40 people who met the inclusion criteria in July. Sampling was with Accidental Sampling. The research results of endorphin massage and breastcare massage on the smooth production of breast milk in postpartum mothers were 28 (70%). The conclusion in this study shows that endorphin massage is effective for smooth production of breast milk in post-partum mothers at PKU Muhammadiyah DelangguHospital compared to breastcare massage with the results of 28 respondents (70%). Suggestions for postpartum mothers are able to apply endorphin massage and breastcare massage at home using endorphin massage and breastcare massage.
