JURNAL BADATI diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku. KATA BADATI adalah sebuah nama yang berasal dari kosa-kata bahasa daerah Maluku Tengah, tepatnya masyarakat Ambon dan Lease. Badati, secara singkat, adalah suatu suasana yang tumbuh dan terpelihara bergenerasi dalam keseharian aktivitas bersama secara kekeluargaan di mana setiap orang atau keluarga, baik dalam pendekatan orang per orang, keluarga (baik dalam garis lurus atau menyimpang), atau anak negeri/masyarakat dalam satu negeri/desa, menunjukkan kepeduliannya untuk turut menanggung suatu beban (biasanya secara material) bersama yang sebelumnya tidak bisa ditanggung oleh seseorang atau suatu keluarga. Pilihan nama BADATI mengandung makna filosofi, yakni menunjuk pada upaya untuk mencerdaskan dan memberdayakan orang demi kesejahteraannya (individu, kelompok dan masyarakat) melalui pikiran-pikiran dari hasil penelitian kajian teoritik tidak dapat dilakukan secara sendiri-sendiri tanpa bekerja bersama dengan melibatkan pihak lain sebagai sistem sumber (Jejaring). Di dalam prinsip bekerja bersama itu, secara esensial, bertujuan untuk memandirikan orang (individu, kelompok dan masyarakat) sebagai subyek dengan menggali dan memaksimalkan potensi yang dimilikinya secara bermartabat. BADATI memiliki nomor ISSN 1907-5340 (cetak) diterbitkan secara cetak sejak tahun 2007 dan pada tahun 2019 Jurnal Badati diterbitkan secara online sejak Volume 1 no 1 tahun 2019 dengan no ISSN 2722-3248 (online) oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial & Ilmu Politik sampai sekarang. Dengan tujuan untuk mempublikasikan hasil kajian ilmiah dan penelitian dalam bidang ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora. BADATI menerima tulisan berbentuk riset kuantitatif maupun kualitatif dari akademisi, praktisi, peneliti yang relevan dengan topik ilmu sosial dan humaniora. Artikel yang dikirimkan haruslah belum pernah atau tidak sedang dalam proses dimuat pada jurnal lainnya. Artikel yang masuk harus sesuai dengan petunjuk penulisan atau format yang telah ditetapkan. Editor akan menolak artikel yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan tanpa proses lebih lanjut. Artikel yang telah memenuhi persyaratan akan dinilai kelayakannya oleh reviewer melalui proses blind-review. BADATI terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun, April dan November.

Abstract

This study discusses Kei Language in Youth Interpersonal Communication in Ohoi Ohoijang, Kei Kecil District,Southeast Maluku Regency. Language is a cultural tool used by humans to communicate or relate to each other, eitherthrough written, oral, or movement. Kei language is the regional language used by the Kei tribe. Along with thedevelopment of the increasingly advanced globalization era, the importance of preserving the Kei language. In fact,currently Kei youth, can no longer communicate using the natural Kei language to do interpersonal communication.This phenomenon raises concerns that when Kei youths cannot understand or communicate in Kei language, thecustoms and traditions of the Kei Islands will disappear. For example, during customary meetings, and traditionalrituals that require a person to communicate intrapersonal using Kei language. It is feared that in the future the Keilanguage will become extinct by itself. Thus, it is necessary to know how the interpersonal communication of Keilanguage itself and the factors that cause Kei language to no longer be used by youth in everyday life. This type ofresearch is qualitative by using primary data sourced from field research data, and secondary data throughinformants. The results showed that Ohoi Ohoijang youth did not use Kei in their daily interactions, youth were morelikely to use Indonesian or slang to interact. Lack of recognition of the Kei language by parents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of professionalism,responsiveness and credibility District Office employees on community satisfaction. Thisresearch was designed using descriptive verification research type. the population in this studywere all people in the Fenafafan Subdistrict who received services in 2019 at the time the studytook place as many as 172 people. The determination of the sample is based on the Slovinformula and is determined by simple random sampling. The number of samples based on Slovinformula with a tolerance limit of 10%, as many as 64 people. Data were analyzed by multiplelinear regression. The results showed that professionalism, responsiveness and credibility ofFenafafan District Office staff had a significant positive effect on community satisfactionpartially and simultaneously, with professionalism as the dominant variable.

Abstract

The enactment of Special Autonomy from the Central Government to the RegionalGovernment of Papua is clear evidence of the presence of the state among indigenousPapuans to encourage development in the regions in the social economy. However,problems arise in the management of the special autonomy funds that are not yet optimal,the existence of corruption, collusion and nepotism, irregularities in regulations, andinadequate services. This article examines the impact of the presence of the state throughspecial autonomy among indigenous Papuans in the economic field. The approach usedin this research is qualitative using the case study method. Data collection techniques inthe form of interviews, observation, and documentation study. The study found that thegovernance of the Special Autonomy Fund has not been on target, indigenous Papuansare still at the poverty line, empowerment and community assistance programs have notbeen optimal, practices of corruption, collusion and nepotism occur, social disparitiesoccur, and abuse of special autonomy regulations. Thus, the presence of the state inPapua through the special autonomy policy must be re-evaluated. The state must ensurethat at the end of the special autonomy era, there should not be any indigenous Papuanswho are only spectators so that the aspirations for the welfare of all indigenous Papuansthrough special autonomy can be realized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze; (1) employee work culture, (2) employee work motivation,(3) work culture relationship with employee motivation. The population of this study were allemployees at the Maluku Provincial BKKBN Representative Office, amounting to 115 people.The number of samples is based on the table developed by Issac and Michael, ie if thepopulation is 115 people, with an error rate of 5%, then the total sample of 83 people isdetermined at randomly simple. The analysis used is chi square analysis. The results showedthat; (1) Work culture with attitude indicators is a happy, sincere and responsible attitudetowards work and shows friendly and polite attitude; (2) High employee motivation is shownby employees working earnestly and responsibly and having motives for meeting economicneeds, improving welfare, improving careers and rewards, and having clear hopes and desirestowards increasing incentives and (3) Cultural variables work which includes attitudes,behavior and discipline is positively related to employee motivation in the form of motives,hopes, needs and incentives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation satisfaction on employee workcommitments. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study wereall permanent employees of Agriculture Services of South Buru Regency as many as 124.Determination of the sample of 50 people determined by simple random sampling. Data wereanalyzed by multiple regression.The results showed that the material compensation factor (X1),social compensation (X2) and activity compensation (X3) affected the work commitment ofemployees with a large influence value of 98.5%; where the activity compensation factordominantly influences the work commitment of Agriculture Services of South Buru Regencyemployees, with the largest partial r2 value of 64.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze community participation in the Pilot Project for ParticipatoryVillage Development in Southeast Maluku Regency. The results showed that community participation inthe Pilot Project for Participatory Village Development in Southeast Maluku Regency can be said to behigh and mobilized, although there are also some villages that show genuine participation. In relation to thegovernment's position as a stimulator of development, the community will actively participate in adevelopment program in accordance with the level of their needs, so that the program is carried outaccording to the wishes and needs of the community itself. The integrated role between the Governmentand social institutions will increase community participation in participatory development programs.

Abstract

Organizational communication patterns, in this case the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency,as we all know that the communication pattern in the organizational structure is a form of messageexchange interaction between organizational members, both verbal and non-verbal communication. Forthis reason, a form of communication poa between superiors and subordinates and subordinates andsubordinates is needed so that the office work process and task completion can run effectively andefficiently. Formulation of the problem What is the Communication Pattern of Restructuring Governancethat occurs in the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency?Research objectives 1) Knowing the suitability of the organizational restructuring of the regionalapparatus in the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency. 2) To know, and understand theCommunication Patterns of the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency. 3) Communication andCoordination Patterns that arise after the Restructuring.The research method involves: 1) The research site is carried out in the Ambon City Planning andDevelopment Agency. 2) The research approach used a descriptive qualitative approach. 3) The techniqueof collecting data uses observation, documentation, deep interview, library research techniques.The results of the study are in the form of a conclusion that there is a preventive step from the leadershipof the Ambon City Planning and Development Agency in formulating a communication pattern besides thatthe existing organizational restructuring process has put forward the concept of poor, rich-functionstructure so that it can support employee work processes.

Abstract

This study aims to influence organizational characteristics, competence and disciplineon employee performance. This type of research is a descriptive and associative approach.Based on this opinion, the population in this study were all 86 of employees of Bappeda SouthBuru Regency. Determination of the number of samples is based on a sample table developedby Issac and Michael, where if a population of 86 people, then at a 5% confidence level, thenumber of samples is determined as much as 79. Data were analyzed by SEM LISREL. Theresults showed that (1) organizational characteristics had a positive and significant effect onemployee performance as seen from the path coefficient that was positive at 0.37 with a t valueof 2.25> 1.96. The biggest factor load value for organizational characteristics variable isresources, (2) competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance asseen from the path coefficient that is positive at 0.60 with a t value of 2.32> 1.96. The variablesthat contribute to the formation of competency latent variables are self-concept with a factorload of 0.68, meaning that to improve employee competence, it is necessary to improve theawareness of self-concept, (3) discipline has a positive and significant effect on employeeperformance as seen from path coefficient which is positive is 0.47 with a value of t value 2.67>1.96. The variables that contribute to the formation of disciplinary latent variables arecompliance by 0.67, which means that employee discipline can be seen from the level ofcompliance with regulations and to superiors.
