The vision of Ideguru is to be one of the main references for teachers in planning, implementing and evaluating learning inovation in Yogyakarta Special Province (DIY), Indonesia. The mission of Ideguru is becoming a media for actualization and dissemination of scientific works for teachers in the region of DIY in particular and Indonesia in general.

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to improve teacher competency in compiling learning outcomes instruments through academic supervision of group techniques at Pundung Elementary School, Imogiri, in 2017/2018 academic year. This study is a school action research conducted in three cycles. Each cycle carried out in two meetings consisted of four steps, namely planning, action, evolution, and reflection. The subjects were 14 elementary school teachers at Pundung, Imogiri, consisting of 10 classroom teachers and 4 subject teachers. The results of the study show that the group technique applied in academic supervision may improve the ability of the teacher in compiling the learning outcomes instruments. The average values of teachers in compiling learning outcomes instruments were increased from cycle I, Cycle II, and Cycle III, i.e. 69, 81 and 88 respectively. The observations on the instruments in Cycle I revealed 4 teachers (28.6%) performed substantial qualification, followed with 13 teachers (92.9%) performed good qualification in Cycle II, and 11 teachers (79%) performed very good qualifications in Cycle III.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this study was identify the management of student’s character education SMAN 2 Banguntapan. This study applied a qualitative approach. The data collecting techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. Data collected from that technique were analyzed by using data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study reveal that the implementation of character education in SMAN 2 Banguntapan has been integrated in school activity on three main form: (1) combine with learning activities, (2) combine with extracurricular activities, (3) combine with cultivation and making people accustomed. The management of student’s character education in SMAN 2 Banguntapan students is consist of: (1) the planning of character education; (2) the organization of character education; (3) the implementation of character education; and (4) the supervision of character education.]]>

<![CDATA[The aims of this study were: (1) to recognize the implementation of chemistry learning. (2) to identify the assessment conducted by the teacher in chemistry learning process. This study was an evaluation study with formative approach from Scriven. Evaluation was performed in chemistry learning process. The study was conducted at SMA N 1 Banguntapan (Senior High School). The respondents were 58 students. The instruments of the study was questionnaires with sumative rating scale models that modify the Likert scale. Data analysis techniques was quantitative descriptive, analyzed by using excel program thus was presented in the histogram to illustrate the achievement of the learning process and assessment conducted by the teacher. The results of this study were: (1) the achievement of the chemistry learning process was divided into 3 stages: the preliminary sections indicated a good category (pronounced by 55.17% respondents), the learning model revealed a good category as well (pronounced by 51.73% respondents) and the practicum indicated the very good category (pronounced by 55.17% respondents); (2) the learning assessment conducted by the teacher was in the good category, (pronounced by 65.52% respondents). Overall evaluation results show that the chemistry learning done by the teacher was good.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the family religious habit and school types to the SMK (vocational school) students’ moral behaviors in Bantul regency. This study was using the quantitative descriptive method. The subjects of the study were SMK students in Bantul. The data collection technique used a research scale, interview, data presentation and data verification. The data analysis technique was multiple regressions analysis. The result of this study shows that there is significant positive effect of family religious habit concerning students’ moral behaviors. The higher the family religious habit, the better the students’ moral behaviors level. On the contrary, the lower the family religious habit, the lower the students’ moral behaviors level will be. There is a positive and significant effect of school types in relation to students’ moral behaviors. Furthermore there is significant difference between students who study in the religious schools and those who do not. Students of religious schools tend to have higher moral behavior level. There is a significant and simultaneous effect of family religious habit and school types in relation to students’ moral behavior. It indicates that religious environment at family and school may affect the students’ moral behaviour.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to improve teacher competence in organize the lesson plan (RPP) and learning procces by conducting in house training (IHT) among the teachers at Imogiri state elementary school (SD N Imogiri). The study was a class action research with Kemmis and Mc.Taggart model. Subjects of the study were teachers at SD N Imogiri, Bantul regency, special province of Yogyakarta. Data collected by using interview, questionnaire, and class supervision that furthermore analyzed using the quantitative descriptive approach and conduced in planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, respectively. Results of the study show that the in house training may improve teacher’s competence in organize the lesson plan and learning procces. Initial condition indicate less quality of learning procces. The average rate in Cycle I was 70.58 with 29.41% completeness. Thus improve in Cycle II with average rate of 89.41 and 100% completeness. The learning implementation was in low category at initial condition (Cycle I) that showed average rate of 72.94 and 38.82% completeness. Nevertheless it increased in Cycle II that indicated the average rate of 88.82 and 100% completeness.]]>

<![CDATA[The objectives of this study were (1) to apply in-house training among teachers in assessing the attitude aspect, and (2) to improve the teacher ability to conduct an attitude assessment through an in-house training model. This study was a school action research (PTS). The study method conducted in two cycles, carried out at SD N Canden, Bantul Regency at 2017/2018 Academic Year. The data was obtained through observation and documentation. The results of each cycle were analyzed using descriptive approach, and then used as reference for the next action. The teacher's ability with the capable category has reached 80%. The results of this study reveal that trainers ability to implement in-house training in the cycle I was in high category (60%) and has increased to 100% in cycle II. The in-house training model was able to improve the teacher ability to assess the attitude aspect. This was demonstrated by the increase of teacher ability from capable category (50%) in the cycle I to be a very capable (70%) and capable (30%) category in the cycle II. The in-house training may improve the teacher's ability to conduct an assessment of the attitude aspect as well.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find a way to increase the student achievement in studying economy by using mind mapping method in class X IPA 1 crossed interest lesson of SMAN 1 Galur. This study was a classroom action research with qualitative descriptive approach. This study conducted in two cycle whith three meetings in each cycle. There were 22 students participated as subject in this study. Each meeting applied the following steps: planning, action, and reflection. The data collecting instruments in this study were questionnaire, observation sheets, field note, attitude scale, and achievement test (daily test). The result of this study indicates that by using mind mapping, the learning process became more effective, the student activity during the learning process also more effective, enjoyable, and joyful. The method has positive effect of increasing the student achievement in economic that can be known from: (a) the increase of student activity and students motivation in cycle I and II; (b) the increase of students achievement in cognitive aspect (student learning completeness standard from 77.53% in cycle I and 82.63% in cycle II), and in affective aspect from the level of enough become excellent in the end of the study. Result of the study also supported by the assessment in learning process which was held by the collaborator, from the classification of 50% good to 50% excellent.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims (1) to describe the learning process with Discovery Learning models among students; and (2) Improve the learning outcomes in subject of Bahasa Indonesia by application of discovery learning models. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA 5 SMA N 1 Bantul at 2018/2019 Academic Year. The study was conducted in three months from January to the end of March 2019. This study was a classroom action research (CAR), carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four activities: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. There are five types of data collection techniques used in this study, i.e. (1) observation, (2) questionnaire, (3) guided interviews, and (4) documentation. The results of this study show that (1) Discovery learning learning models improved teacher performance in learning, improved the performance of students in learning, and obtained excellent responses from students; (2) Implementation of discovery learning models improved student learning outcomes. The average value of student learning outcomes with the discovery learning model in cycle I was 82 with sufficient predicate, then increased to 94 in cycle II with very good predicate. The learning completeness in cycle I was 81.25% and increased to 100% in cycle II.]]>

<![CDATA[The current teaching and learning process cannot be separated from the development of information and communication technology. In the curriculum of 2013, information and communication technology teachers have new tasks as a guidance teachers who provide guidance to students, as well as a subject teachers, and as an education staff to support the collegue when experiencing difficulties in terms of utilization of information and communication technology in the implementation of learning. Considering that there are a lot of school people in SMAN1 Pengasih including the number of teachers in 54 subjects, 598 students, and 18 staffs, the information and communication technology teachers look for alternatives of technical guidance by creating the Web-based Information and Communication Technology Guidance Application (ABTIK). The ABTIK guidance application implemented by making a flowchart, database structure, input design, and output design. The manufacturing procedure starts with the installation of php web server and MySQL database, preparing the database, making projects and hosting to the server. The ABTIK guidance application was able to bridge the information and communication technology guidance teachers and subject teachers, as well as education staff and students in real time so that teaching and learning activities can run well.]]>

<![CDATA[The reading and writing ability among children is still low. The children do not know letters and words yet, so that the letter card game in reading and writing activities for children at imitating level is expected to improve student’s reading and writing ability. The subject of this classroom action research was class B students in Putragiri PKK Kindergarten of 2018/2019 academic year. The data collection techniques was observation to measure the scale of reading and writing ability among students. This study conducted in two cycles. Cycle I was held on January 2019, carrying out the national day theme in the form of props story books, worksheets, student magazines, pictures, etc. After cycle I, reflection was done to plan cycle II, which be held on August 2019 with the religious holidays theme and the sub-theme was Qurban and the Idhul Adha day. The results of the study describe that 1) the reading and writing ability among children before being given an action were in the substantial category that means began to develop, 2) the letter card games can improve children's reading and writing skills.]]>
