Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between leadership and school performance, organizational commitment to school performance, the relationship between leader member exchange and school performance. This research method is quantitative, the data was obtained by distributing online questionnaires through social media to teachers. through the simple random sampling method, the respondents of this study were 340 teachers. Analysis of the research data used structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software tools, the questionnaire measurement scale used a Likert scale of 7. The stages of testing the research data were measuring the outer model, testing validity, testing reliability and testing structural models and testing hypotheses. Based on the results of data analysis it was concluded that leadership has a positive and significant effect on performance, Leader Member Exchange (LMX) has a positive and significant effect on performance and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on performance. Organizational Commitment has a significant effect on Performance. Organizational commitment is the teacher's loyalty to the organization and a continuous process in which the teacher shows and expresses concern or matters that are important to the organization. teachers who have high organizational commitment will make a major contribution to the company because they want to work as much as possible and behave well in achieving school goals, so organizational commitment affects performance. Work-related behavior, respect for leaders' skills and knowledge, loyalty to one another, and liking for one another can all contribute to the development of LMX. The Leader Member Exchange leadership system in its application can generate feedback between individuals without being affected by social boundaries or strata. Leaders and teachers can communicate regardless of seniority and position so that it can have a positive impact on schools, namely in the form of improving teacher performance.

Abstract

The International Labor Organization (ILO) says that as many as 2.3 million deaths are caused by disease or work-related accidents that occur each year. This study aims to determine the factors associated with unsafe actions in production workers at PT. Sturdy Universe Cikande Serang Banten. type of research used is quantitative research with analytic observational method with cross sectional design. The number of respondents in this study were 60 respondents. The sampling technique used proportional sampling with univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi Square test. The results of this study showed that as many as 21 (35%) respondents took safe actions, as many as 15 (25%) respondents had good knowledge, as many as 31 (51.6%) respondents had good attitudes and as many as 28 (46.6%) respondents had work 6-10 years. The results of the bivariate analysis test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (Pvalue = 0.000), attitude (Pvalue = 0.003) and years of service (Pvalue = 0.012) with unsafe actions.

Abstract

To increase industrial growth in Indonesia, especially the ceramic tile industry, it must increase productivity on production floors. The purpose of this study is, firstly, to find out the causes of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) level in a company that does not meet the expected standards. Second, to determine what improvements should be made to increase the OEE on the packing machine. This research uses a case study in a tile manufacturing industry located in Cikarang, Indonesia. The focus of this research is on packing machines using pneumatic and electric systems. The analysis was carried out by applying Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) with the support of other tools such as Cause and Effect Diagrams (CED), and 6 big losses analysis. By adhering to the entire research framework, find the reasons why OEE does not meet the target. From these results, it can be concluded that the application of these methods has a positive impact on the company. The OEE rate increased from an average of 72.5% to 94.5%. It means the OEE level has reached the standard of world-class manufacturing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of Seskoal lecturers by observing the influence of the aspects of Transactional Leadership, Transactional Leadership, Competence, and Motivation of the lecturers as mediating variables. The research was conducted within the scope of the Naval Staff and Command School with 105 respondents consisting of Seskoal lecturers and structural officials involved in teaching, training, and nurturing activities. The data obtained were analyzed using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) software. The independent variables Transformational Leadership and Transactional Leadership were found to have no direct effect on performance. Instead, the independent variables Competence and Motivation positively and significantly affected performance. This argument is due to the fact that the performance dimension in the form of the Tridarma of Higher Education has yet to be widely understood. The working period of lecturers is generally short, so the impact of the transformation has yet to be felt. It is also very rare for transactions to occur in this performance. Variable influence. The effect of the independent variable Transformational Leadership also has no positive and significant effect on motivation as the dependent variable, whereas Transactional Leadership and Competence have a positive and significant effect on Motivation. This result shows that transactions will increase lecturers' motivation, and lecturers with high competence will automatically increase their motivation. Interestingly, the indirect effect, where motivation acts as an intervening variable, shows that there is no effect of Transformational Leadership on Performance through motivation. However, vice versa for the variables Transactional Leadership and Competence affect Performance through Motivation. This result shows that the effect of the transformation has not been felt directly or indirectly as explained otherwise, for transactions will increase motivation which indirectly increases performance and competence.
